Hello guys, yesterday I have ordered my A1 and I am thinking about my future setup. I am using on all my devices microG instead Google Apps. Just wanted to check, whether someone tried this. Has someone tried to delete the Google stuff from /system and to flash microG (e.g. via NanoMod)? Thx for any info?

Why do u want to use MicroG in the first place?

For two main reasons:
1. Privacy. Don't like to share my whole data with Google. I don't use any Goggle app, except the Play store from time to time.
2. Battery life. microG is more than light weight and the battery consumption is extremely low.

I'm not sure about NanoMod by my installer (in the signature) automatically remove conflicting packages and can be flashed also on ROMs with GApps (since it remove them).

Thanks for the reply. There is another problem: the ROM is odexed, so there is no chance to use the NanoMod Patcher in order to spoof the signature!

I don't know, but maybe the version for Nougat works also on Oreo.
Maybe try it after a backup.

Hey mate, great suggestion. It has worked. Without deodexing the ROM, no huge hacking on the ROM. MicroG is running nice with spoofed signature.
Many thanks, [emoji106]

Hi, how did you exactly do ? I'm on MIUI and I would like to replace Gapps by microG, I installed Xposed, the FakeGapps module, but the Signature Spoofing Checker tells me it's disabled. Do I need to autostart something ?
And how did you remove Gapps ?
Thanks in advance.
Can you teach how? You use fake gapps and then, What to do next? No need for nanodroid patch?

Hi guys,
Previously I had a oneplus one on cm12 it had auto disable some permissions so whatever apps were installed it will block them however I can't seem to find that on Oxygen OS on oneplus 2.
I will highly appreciate your assistance.

I don't think OOS has this function. You can change app permissions in the settings menu though, but only on a per-app basis.
You need AppOpXposed
Permissions Manager to system level app is only avail on CM based ROM... Or if the dev decide to put it

Surely
Dear all. I really wounder why the default applock function is not included in Nougat. I tried to enable it with flashing a csc. The applock menu appeared but it force closed when i tried to open it. Anyone have an idea how to get applock work on Nougat.?
Ps: i installed some applock apps from playstore but didn't like them so i prefer the default app/function.
Thank you all in advance!

You probably need to be rooted to place the applock.apk in /system. Or perhaps it is not available with Nougat?

First of all thanks for your reply. I am on a rooted rom. As i mentioned above in my first post, with replacing the csc files i am able to see the applock function in settings and also the related *.apk for it is automatically placed in the system folder.
I also can't find anything in google about this. [emoji53]

Probably doesn't work on Nougat then bro. I asked about AppLock in the beta and they should they would see about adding this for everyone. That hasn't occurred lol
