Hi guys,
Previously I had a oneplus one on cm12 it had auto disable some permissions so whatever apps were installed it will block them however I can't seem to find that on Oxygen OS on oneplus 2.
I will highly appreciate your assistance.

I don't think OOS has this function. You can change app permissions in the settings menu though, but only on a per-app basis.
You need AppOpXposed
Permissions Manager to system level app is only avail on CM based ROM... Or if the dev decide to put it

I take it I might have to root the device for that?

It's built into the os. This OEM is known for doing that. It all ties into the apps it bundles that are normally modified to show false states.

Which ROM you have right now? Downloaded yourself?
You are running the launcher Trebuchet?
Original rom, yes trebuchet.

Consider freezing stock launcher.
Which exact firmware do you run (as mentioned Current in Wireless update)?

Thanks! A friend runs that one too with Google launcher (copied to system). I'll ask to him to freeze stock one.
I'm running S3SW 20150314-141844
I have the same issue. I'm assuming it is the trebouchet launcher. So I will freeze and replace it. After installing an other launcher (Nova) I don't see links installed, but Trebouchet keeps downloading stuff. I can see the size of it's data folder and cache increasing.
Yes, I changed it to the Google luncher ,and it stopped.

It would be more easy to change the ROM. Already since May there is this malware ROM 20150314.... on needrom.
Chinese sellers get their ROM there, because gapps is included and gapps is forbidden in china.
After replacing to google luncher, still get notifications of the applications but no shortcuts installed , so problemis not solved 100%.

yup - i've the same issue as oren_rose - i've disabled "unknown sources" which stops the s/w from installing - but it still keeps trying every so often - how odd.

As AndyC76 pointed out, the problem is the ROM. I had malware on mine installed as well. Use AVG to find it and delete it. It had a very strange name and many permissions (located in the priv-app folder). I'm not sure, but I think it is resolved.
I also have the same problem, every day its add new icon.
In this image you can see who is creating is the trebuche

I also tried to clean with AVG but din't find any malewere
My version is S3SW 20150314-141844
I tried with avg but could not delete or uninstall it,
Any other ideas?

20150314... is the only ROM with malware, as far as i know. So changing it, to any "official" KK or LL,
would be a smart idea.
I also started having this problem about 2-3 weeks ago. How do you freeze an app?
Hello everybody
i'v just bought the Oneplus 2 and received it today, i had the oneplus one before then i changed to oneplus 2, i noticed there are some important options hidden in the settings that are:
-Status bar
-Notification bar manager
-Themes (i can't even install themes from play store)
-Screen colors
-ring layouts and settings (in buttons option)
-also can't customize the " on screen " buttons..
i had these options hidden in my previous OPO but i solved it by going to " about phone " then enabled " advanced mode ", but i can't find this option on the OPT
is there any solution for this issue? i'd be so much thankful...
i'm using the oxygen version 2.2.1 and my android version is 5.1.1
Thanks all!

Sent from my ONE A2003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
No there is not. Your OnePlus One runs on CyanogenOS and your OnePlus 2 runs on OxygenOS. CyanogenOS has these Option included into the Rom. Because OxygenOS is more like pure and clean Android there is no such stuff.
Flashing ROMs on the OP2 is pretty easy and if you follow the instruction given by the various Guides and by the ROM Developers itself it is nearly impossible to harm your phone this much that it is beyond the point were it can be saved by the Recovery Tools posted in this forum.
Start reading about how root works, how a custom recovery works and then give it a try
Thank you all!

If you don't want to flash other roms, you could just root your device and install some xposed module for the same.
PS.dnt b scared, its very easy for people who own oneplus.
Kudos!

Okay, So I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-google-assistant-marshmallow-t3478450 and I couldn't get it to work. Can someone please patch it to arm64?
I'll do it in a bit.

Im having issues recompiling. After doing some research I've found that it cant be done on stock system like ours. The OP of that thread may not be rooted, but his modified system must allow for the installation of non-signed apps.
But is there ANY way to install it on my device?
Any one?

Dear all. I really wounder why the default applock function is not included in Nougat. I tried to enable it with flashing a csc. The applock menu appeared but it force closed when i tried to open it. Anyone have an idea how to get applock work on Nougat.?
Ps: i installed some applock apps from playstore but didn't like them so i prefer the default app/function.
Thank you all in advance!

You probably need to be rooted to place the applock.apk in /system. Or perhaps it is not available with Nougat?

First of all thanks for your reply. I am on a rooted rom. As i mentioned above in my first post, with replacing the csc files i am able to see the applock function in settings and also the related *.apk for it is automatically placed in the system folder.
I also can't find anything in google about this. [emoji53]

Probably doesn't work on Nougat then bro. I asked about AppLock in the beta and they should they would see about adding this for everyone. That hasn't occurred lol

Hello guys, yesterday I have ordered my A1 and I am thinking about my future setup. I am using on all my devices microG instead Google Apps. Just wanted to check, whether someone tried this. Has someone tried to delete the Google stuff from /system and to flash microG (e.g. via NanoMod)? Thx for any info?

For two main reasons:
1. Privacy. Don't like to share my whole data with Google. I don't use any Goggle app, except the Play store from time to time.
2. Battery life. microG is more than light weight and the battery consumption is extremely low.

I'm not sure about NanoMod by my installer (in the signature) automatically remove conflicting packages and can be flashed also on ROMs with GApps (since it remove them).

Thanks for the reply. There is another problem: the ROM is odexed, so there is no chance to use the NanoMod Patcher in order to spoof the signature!

Hey mate, great suggestion. It has worked. Without deodexing the ROM, no huge hacking on the ROM. MicroG is running nice with spoofed signature.
Many thanks, [emoji106]

Hi, how did you exactly do ? I'm on MIUI and I would like to replace Gapps by microG, I installed Xposed, the FakeGapps module, but the Signature Spoofing Checker tells me it's disabled. Do I need to autostart something ?
And how did you remove Gapps ?
Thanks in advance.
Can you teach how? You use fake gapps and then, What to do next? No need for nanodroid patch?
