IP address 0.0.0.0? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

I'm just starting to learn about different network connections and I'm trying to find out why netstat would show the IP address 0.0.0.0 listening to my external IP address on a specific port and also listening to 127.0.0.1 and my ipv6 address? I've tried googling it but I'm just not understanding...

0.0.0.0 is all IPs bound on any interface. 127.0.0.1 is loopback.

Whatis T-Mobile-US IP environment?

Hey,
Are there any cool proxies, ports or node-IPs I should know about when it comes to T-Mobile GPRS?
A number of people seem to enjoy various degrees of "free" datacom though nobody has posted the IP environment that actually works. below is what I get, and it royally does not work.
Could we discuss what IPs are received, if tracert seem to work and other useful bits about GPRS?

No internet on desktop when connecting Wizard via USB

Hi,
When I connect my O2 XDA Mini S (Wizard) via USB to my desktop my internet connection stops working. Nothing actually "drops" but all connections simply timeout. 2 minutes after removing the XDA it all starts working again.
When I do a "route print" , the routing table is changed. This is added:

Even thought the "default" gateway remains the same (my ethernet card).

I have ActiveSync 4.2 - and have not had any problems at all...
Might be worth upgrading and trying again?
Ok, I found a solution.
It's not activesync, and it may affect other PDA's, connections etc.
The order in which the networks are used is in the Advanced Settings under Network Connections. I just moved the "Local Area Connection" to the top of the list, above "Local Area Connection 4". Previously it was the other way around.

Maybe very basic, but have you checked your activesync connection settings?
Just rightclick on the green icon and select "connection settings"
Then choose internet at "This computer is connected to:"
But you can only choose that if you have a direct (=NAT) connection.
If you use a proxy, you need to choose Work and enter your proxysettings in your lansettings on your device.

O2 Xda Exec and Pay as you go

I hope some one can help, I have searched the forum and tried all the settings that have been posted
The settings on my Xda Exec are as follows
Under My ISP I have
Access point name payandgo.o2.co.uk
User name payandgo
Password password
DNS 193.113.200
Alt DNS 193.113.200
Under My Work Network I have
Access point name payandgo.o2.co.uk
User name payandgo
password password
Under MMS configuration I have
Server name
O2UK
Gateway 193.113.200.195
Port number 9201
Server address http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
However when I try and connect to the internet, I get a connection but when I try and visit any websites I get the following error 'The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try later'
Can anyone help? as I seem to be banging my head against a wall !

I'm trying to configure my blackstone for mobile internet use on the 2 degrees network in New Zealand. The 2 degrees website gives the following config info:
WAP Gateway Settings

I entered http://m.2degreesmobile.co.nz/ into the Access Point Name field and proceeded to completion (leaving the Username and Password fields empty).
Unfortunately when trying to connect to the internet I get a 'can not connect for an unknown reason' error.
I can't see anywhere to configure WAP or MMS but I don't believe it's this that is preventing me from access the internet.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to get it working................

no doubt you have solved this problem already but for anyone who hasn't, 2degrees website is very helpful and there is a section were you write in your phone number and some other details and they send you a bunch of txt msgs containing updates and settings changes that will fix the 3g problems.

SSH Tunnel not Hiding my Android IP

I need help understanding why my SSH tunnel connection isn't hiding my public IP address no matter which SSH tunneling provider I use. Psiphon Pro VPN app cloaks my IP just fine though.
Moto G4+ Android Nougat 7.0 (rooted), Google Chrome app, SSH Tunnel 1.5.6 app
I made successful SSH connections using accounts with the following free SSH providers: www.sshagan.net, www.fastssh.com, www.freevpn.us
Example setup:
Host IP: x-usa1.sshservers.us
OpenSSH port: 22
Username: myusername-freevpn.us
Password: ********
Use SOCKS proxy: enabled
Local Port: 1984
Global Proxy: enabled
Enable DNS Proxy: enabled/disabled (both worked with same results)
When I use the IP address site at www.expressvpn.com/what-is-my-ip (or any other such site), it always displays the same public IP with or without SSH tunneling. Can someone advise me as to what I'm doing wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
I was able to cloak my IP by using the ProxyDroid app in conjunction with the SSH Tunnel app as follows:
Configured and connected SSH Tunnel as above
Configured ProxyDroid as follows:
- Host: 127.0.0.1
- Port: 1984 (same local port used with SSH Tunnel)
- Proxy Type: SOCKS5
- Global Proxy: enabled
Connected ProxyDroid
My IP address at https://whoer.net was now different from my public IP.
