a bug that pops everything on the screen and appears after - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

there is an error in my axon 7 that every now and then appears on the screen and then comes back in a few seconds. When removing this, I never found any setting to disable it model A2017. add everything on the screen then appears again always looks like this. I wonder what can happen?

Screen freezes in landscape mode

I'm hoping you guys can help. I have searched and cannot find reference to this problem, but I cant believe I'm the only one... I have the HTC Wizard in the O2 XDA mini s form.
Whenever I slide out the keyboard to write a text, within a second or so the screen freezes. I can continue pressing typing but nothing on the screen changes. If I press the screen off button to turn just the screen off, then back again, I can see the newly typed text, and then it freezes again straight away.
Is anyone else suffering with this problem please?
Has anyone solved it?
Thanks for you help.
Dave
Well, sounds like the keyboard inputs are getting there (a good thing), perhaps something is running in the background eating up resources not allowing the display to update. What’s in your “windows/startup” folder? Also, what today plugins are you running? Have you burnt a new ROM or are you running the original?
Hi, thanks for the reply. Im still running the original ROM. I don't think its a background task issue. The screen freezes and distorts (lighter coloured lines across the screen.) Im pretty sure its not just a refresh issue.
I guess I just assumed something like this must be a common problem, that others have had and solved.
Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem and I really dont know what to do. Its happening on every ROM I install, even if I revert back to the original ROM. I have a feeling its my SD card, but I cant tell which folder specifically.
Maybe bad flex-cable could cause that kind of problem.
Yeh, same here.. I think its about the flex cable also. It stopped on my case for a while when i dissassembled the wiz and cleaned it up... but it continues now propably would help if got new flexi cable, or could it come when phone gets cold? its pretty freezy in finland sometimes sry about bad language.

[Q] Google Nexus screen problem.

Hi all, I've just bought a N7 from Tesco's and it was on 4.1.1 when i first turned it on. I did not notice anything wrong with the screen i got prompted with an update for 4.1.2 (i think) so i updated and after a while i was browsing around and notice a little mark in the in the middle of the screen just above half way. I don't know how to describe it. But if i press near it the dot it acts like a pressure point sort of thing if you know what i mean.
If anyone can give me any advice it would be great. If not looks like ill be taking it back for an exchange.
Cheers
Chris
Look at your developer options and post what is there, from the sounds of it, you are describing one or two of the developer options that tells you touch input.

thanks for your help...
Sounds like screen ripple.. You talking about the same kind of effect that you would get if you pressed your finger against a LCD computer monitor? If it's that.. Return it..

I am having the same problem when i go into download mode . one way you can verify that if your not 3 is real or fake is buy comparing the imei numbers. compare the imei by dialing *#06# and the imei listed on the back of the phone.
i am going through another problem. my air view is constantly on, it never turns off. even though i have gone through settings and turned it off
please help me guys/girls.

False recent app presses causing multi-window to activate?

I keep getting multi window popping up for no reason. I rest my phone on my pinky when I use it and wonder if that has something to do with it. Like the capacitive key is shorting on the frame and registering my pinky as a capacitive key press. I've watched as it happens and my pinky is no where near the recent apps key, basically dead center on the charging port. Anyone else having this issue? Really don't want to go through the hassle of a return, but it's getting really annoying.
The same issue for me. Once it appeared when i only read a web page and didn't youch the screen. I have S7, not edge.
I'd suspected Google keyboard but I uninstalled it and the issue remains.

Just happened again without my pinky on the bottom. Seems to be most prevalent soon after or right after unlocking the phone.
Are you left handed? When I didn't have a case, I kept accidentally pressing the back key with my palm without realising but I'm right handed

I can't tell you why it's happening, but I will say that this is one reason many Android fans prefer on-screen buttons that are controlled by the touchscreen drivers. They are more reliable and don't have little issues like being too sensitive or not sensitive enough or ghost presses, etc.
I have/had the same issue, i called Samsung and they told me the update that came today (around 60MB) could fix it but they were not sure, they told me to do a factory reset if the update didn't help, i did and i haven't had the annoying multi window popup after that. tho i cant be 100% its fixed. the issue were quite constant before i did the factory reset and it happen 5-10 seconds after i unlocked the screen. i have unlocked the phone over 40 times after the factory reset(after i finished installing apps etc) and everything works like it should, so it looks good so far. i will keep you updated tho. Normal OTA. Settings -> About Device -> Download Updates Manually.
My Phone is a "Nordic Edition" but the model is SM-G935F so it is the international one.
My carrier is Telenor Norway.

Thanks, this is very perfect answer. I tried only reboot and it seems OK now. Perhaps some ghost in the device?
In every case I'm waiting for update and hope it'll help.
I have exactly the same issue, so far I couldn't solve it

the issue is not fixed i'm afraid. i got the multi view popup again when i was using chrome. so the update did nothing :/ i'm gonna replace the device i think, i'm gonna call Samsung tomorrow and get them to use the app "Smart Tutor" so the can check if it is a hardware or a software issue. ill keep you posted.
A temp fix you can use is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nerd.multiwindowtoggle the app will disable the multi window feature so when the phone presses the button by itself nothing happens. cheers
Same issure here (I'm left handed). Can the "multi-window" thing be deactivated ? I never use it...
But to be honest, I don't see it as a bug, maybe as a design bug. The button is too close to the edge of the phone and edge of the screen, this is bound to happen.

I could understand accidentally hitting it, sure. However, I have no fingers near the recent apps button when it activates. That's why I theorized it shorting out on the frame of the phone.

My screen just dies, please help!

Hello everyone. I just bought the OnePlus 8 Pro, set it up, used it a little and then opened the camera, and changed to selfie mode. Suddenly the screen turned green and turned off. Since then I cannot boot my phone and i see green flashes on my screen and nothing works. I can still hear the phone works (Lock screen noises and vibrations) but still can't see anything apart from green flashes every 5 seconds. I've tried to hard reset the phone a few times, but no luck, screen still flashes green.
Please tell me if there is something i can do to fix the issue, or the screen just died.
Why would you want to try and fix the issue? It sounds like a hardware failure and you should return your device. Sure it's a ****ty situation but these things happen.

in my country its not that easy .... you need to send it few weeks to check the prob
and thats my only phone i use i cant send it and just bought it
maybe other opinion guys plz?
The only way to solve this is to RMA sadly. Definitely a hardware issue and needs to be replaced (if within the appropriate time) or repaired.
RMA. 100%
