[Q] Sp flash tool Broom 2005 error

Hi fellas,
I'm trying to flash my mt6573 device because of some mistake i made and my phone is now in a bootloop. I am using Sp flash tool but it gives me the [BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command via usb cable. Does this mean i have to use another cable like serial to usb?. I have attached a screenshot so you can see the details

I have the same problem with my mtk6575 device. It won't open after the android image.
Did you solve your problem?

Is your phone carrier locked?

uhmm.. no help for recovering MTK devices, too..

Yesterday i faced that error but not find any solution for my non-removable battery android, so waited for next day now able to flash with no errors...I think battery made that error so let it be fully empty then charge again and follow flash procedure( for non removable )

i will try it on MT6757D
no bootloop but that error :crying:

hello boss good morning. i have a big problem regarding this flash tool, i tried many version of flash tool but it will result into nothing. first, i used flash tool version SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1728 and the with MT6589 then the message box says :" platform MT6589 not support on this version. please update to latest flashtool and try again. den i tried the latest version and it says "Please use flashtool version v.51728 to handle old platform MT6589. is there anyone can help me in this problem? i already tried many flash tools but it fails..

[Q] LG G2 won't enter in download mode

Hello, I am trying to get back to stock but for some reason my phone won't boot in download more anymore. It stucks at this step -> see attached photo

Are you connected to a computer or charging we with the cable? Just to cross off one thing.

Did you install any recovery module like CWM or TWRP on the mobile. I faced the same situation and I was able to recover my phone using TWRD and ADB consoles. I will be able to help you if you have installed any one of these.

Only one question,
Do you have any ROM installed currently or stuck without any rom. Like boot loop and secure boot issue etc.
If you have TWRP at least installed on your device, you may use "adb push xxxx.zip /sdcard/xxxx.zip" command if the device is discoverable in "adb discover" command. You may follow the guide here "http://www.droidviews.com/android-4-4-2-kitkat-rom-on-lg-g2-d802-install-twrp/"
If you are able to boot in X rom you may use this guide to shine yourself in stock rom

I have recovery and a booting rom, the smartphone it's all ok but don't go in download mode (see image above), and i can't see it with the pc in usb, i can't use this guide because i can't enter in the dowload mode and the pc both donwload mode and normal boot don't see the smartphone

Firstly you may not go do download mode for flashing factory rom. You can do the same even from recovery. However, the guide in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51693321#post51693321 seems working for many. You may give that a try.

Hi.I can not go to downloading mod on my lg g2.I tried using v+ and connecting to pc.It goes to charging mod and nothing happen.
As you said I went to recovery mod but there is not any advance selection.

Did u get it work?

I have a similar problem, my sprint G2 says download mode when vol up+ cable, but doesn't go all the way into download mode just the initial screen. And normal boot results in being stuck on LG logo forever.

Even I bricked my yureka today when I tried to install custom recovery in fastboot mode. Unfortunately, you cannot use SP flash tool since it is only supported for MTK devices. Our yureka is qualcomm.

I Boss, I am also facing same problem. Even I am not getting fastboot mode in mobile. When I switch on the it is showing only black screen. But when I connected the charger it is showing battery charging animation. Now we need SP Flash tool and Scatter file fro our Yu mobile.
And i have requested the same in YUPLAYGOD. But I didn't received any response from YU end. I received only request numbers. Even toll free number also not working.
Very very bad service. Finally am thinking now we are wasting our money on YU. If any one got the solution please send me on [email protected] or post the same on this site. If I got the solution I will share with you guys..........

My lenovo k4 note totally dead after installing RR-N-v5.8.5-20180105-k5fpr-Final and Zero and while tried to install TWRP using MarshMallow method my device is dead can't boot , no bootloader ,no recovery ,not even vibrate , and not detecting
can' t connect to pc when
trying to use SP flash tool to recover it,can' detect by flash tool
tried to flash with flash tools ver. 5.1524 but not detecting by pc and shows this error always when try to connect pc with flash tool

My best advice would be to consult to the service center... As far as I know, in your current phone condition, there's nothing that we can do... Even if the service center would cost not little, they would surely know what to do

download latest flash tools
download stock rom version marsmallow (you'll find it on foru xda)
than flash it with latest flash tools
done.

I tried flashing stock rom with SP flash tool but my device is not detecting, all drivers are installed properly tried by pressing volume keys & power button also but still not detecting, please give me a solution.

Phone boots till asus logo. Can't flash via fastboot mode. Says write protected!

As the title says, my phone just boots till asus logo and switches off. The battery was 15% at night. I woke up and there was no juice left. So I kept my phone for charging. The phone just boot loops with big battery icon with no charging animation. Even the recovery doesn't work. I tried flashing via fastboot mode. My phone was already unlocked. But during fastboot, it says FAILED (remote: 'Error flashing partition : Write Protected'). Any help? Yes, I'm using usb 2.0 port.

Yes. But it doesn't boot to system. It just switches off after displaying asus logo.

Yes I have already joined. But I don't have a backup smartphone. So I'll have to wait I guess.
EDIT: Seems no one knows a solution in telegram group either. I asked about this problem there and one or two replied and they stopped replying.

Okay, try flashing the fastboot rom. It will relock the bootloader and will flash the stock oreo rom. See if this works.

It shows the same error. Nothing can be flashed via fastboot mode.

You might need to visit the service center, as recovery can't be booted, also nothing can be flashed as device is write protected.

Check whether your usb port is 3.0, fastboot needs usb 2.0 ports for fastboot commands.

Anyone? Please help us, I'm also in this kind of situation with OP. I still can't use Asus Flash Tool because it needs internet connection I'm just borrowing my cousin's PC and they don't have internet broadband either.
I'm wondering if it also gives an error "write protected" like on Fastboot CMD. And if it does I think our last resort is to flash with QFIL.

If I am right, you'll updated to the 073 pie version of the stock software, which bricked the devices.?
