I sincerely miss using the tweaksbox options that I had on my G3, g4, and g5. Any way to get similar tweaks on the G6? I have the rooted us997 version. Included a link below to tweaksbox just for reference. I'd love to have the double-tap navigation bar to sleep option, as well as customizing navigation bar actions like double-tap recents or menu to assign an app or action. Thanks in advance to all!

Until now there is no tweaksbox for Nougat. P_Toti (the dev. of tweaksbox) has written in his thread for the LG G4 that he is very busy in his real life but when he find a little time there will be a possibility to make a version for Nougat.
Apart of this, there has never released an official version for the G5 but the G4 version has worked very well (with MM naturally). So until now it is not possible to say, which tweaks will work on a G6 in a future version.
Best regards
mkpcxxl
Fulmics rom has very similar tweaks.

Hi, I really hope from xda developers design one xposed mod that collect all features from others mods that work fain with LG G2
for example
from Gravitybox we will found that all shrotcut work fine and very useful, immersive mod work,
from Xbalst tools we'll found contextual notification header panel work fain,
and just like that.
Ya that's not going to happen because each developer makes changes themselves ... The best two mods currently for our device specific are g2 tweaksbox and g2 xposed... These should cover pretty much anything you need
Some of you asked me what you could/couldn't change on the device, here's a few videos showing off what you can do free out of the box. If you want to see anything else, feel free to ask

Icon Theming
Keyboard Themes
Messaging Theming
Lock Screen

What about the lock screen customizations?

Ah, yes...you can customize that as well. There's 5 slots for any app you'd like to launch as well as no icons. Also able to change unlock animation for it. I'll post another quick video about that tomorrow as well

Also the Lock Screen
Here's the Icon Theming
Info
These official customization features are awesome
How can devs can develop for these features?
i m not LG user but i wanna know if thr s way for example to make theme or etc for this official customizations?
Thanks

Nice vids. Thanks
The home screen icon "customization" is pretty disappointing. No support for icon packs? Lame. I wonder if Smart Bulletin will be worthwhile enough to keep me from switching to Nova like I always do.

Actually if themes add support for LG Home it will, only found 1 theme which does ;}
If only they included a way to make the on screen navigation buttons smaller. Guess we'll have to rely on eXposed.
This is my current home screen on my G3. I use Blisspop ROM which has a bunch of tweaks letting me change my nav bar buttons, colors, press actions and my status bar icon colors, click color, battery bar and icon and colors etc. Is this achievable on Nexus 6p? I've heard about Gravity Box but can't find any videos showing if these tweaks are available. I bought the S7 Edge and hate it. With a locked boot loader...sending it back and highly considering the Nexus 6p but want to have these tweaks.

I use gravity box. I can't attest to all of those items, but it can do the following:
change my nav bar actions, colors,
status bar icon colors
battery bar and icon and colors etc.
dont think it can change the nav bar button shape itself, and no idea about click color (though I've never seen that setting)

Thank you for responding. Can you add two more navigation buttons to have a total of 5 like in my screen shot? You can confirm you can change all those different icon colors and navigation bar buttons colors? Weird as I must have seen over a hundred different Nexus 6p home screens and all had the default white colors for both status bar icons and navigation bar buttons colors.

you can add the menu button and a custom button using gravity box. and each of the buttons can be customized for single press, double tap and long press. not i don't think you can change how the buttons look (in gravity box)
I changed both status bar and navbar colors to an off-white/blue.
As for keys, you can have it show the menu bar button and can create a custom button and can change the actions of each (regular press, double press, long press)
Take a look at the screenshots attached.

Thank you all so much. Looks like I'm buying the 6p. This S7 Edge is just not my thing. Edge screen is more of a hindrance and locked boot loader means a return to T-Mobile. Not dropping $780 when I can get the 6p for $500 and have a larger screen which I love plus root. The choice is clear.

One more question. Is xposed and gravity box compatible with all current ROMs including pure nexus? Are all ROMs on Nexus 6p AOSP based? Also, I saw something about having to flash a vendor IMG file when flashing ROMs. Can anyone explain this to me? I'm used to flashing rom, gapps, kernal (if needed) only.

Just want to confirm no problems with rooting phone and doing anything I can do with my rooted LG G3 before pulling the trigger. Should I buy used on Swappa (never used Swappa before) or go new. Found a listing for a used 64gb black in perfect condition with 3 cases and a bunch of screen protectors with box for $500 or can just buy new for $500 with the current $50 off sale.

The deal is good. But I always prefer new, plus you're getting a discount.

Yes, Xposed is functional on custom ROMs too. But just make sure that no two same features contradict when enabled. AOSP, CAF, and CM.
Vendor.img is basically a proprietary code. If you are going to bump to a new Android update (major or minor), you will have to flash the corresponding vendor.
For example: If you use the latest PureNexus build, which is based on MHC19I, you will need to flash the corresponding vendor.

Yes. You can do all those things. Almost any thing any phone can do a nexus probably can. I'm using resurrection remix with elemental x kernel. You can add up to (I think) 7 nav bar buttons. You can have double tap to wake also, but fingerprint is faster.
You don't want to make your 6p into a g3, you want something that you'll ultimately love more than a g3 could ever be. That would be like putting an average 4 cylinder into a new mustang 5.0.
I'm running an unofficial version of CM13 on the Honor 5X. Unofficial means a few things are absent at the moment, like fingerprint scanner. What does work works to make this one of the smoothest phones I've used. (EMUI is entirely unusable.)
I'm very interested and I'm this close to ordering the Moto X Pure. So since it's very close to AOSP, as is CyanogenMod, I'm interested to know what differences I can look forward to. Yes, I acknowledge that just because they're both approaching AOSP doesn't mean they are similar to each other.
With CM, I nominally have LiveDisplay (which is broken at the moment but is great when it did work).
With CM, I can enable extra buttons other than just back and home and switcher. I also have search and the menu buttons on.
With CM, I can double tap the power button and it'll go directly to the camera.
These are what comes to mind right now. So, can I expect the Pure to have this functionality?

For the record, I have no immediate interest in switching from the vanilla on the Pure. My sole interest at the moment is just wondering how similar they are and if I will have to give up some familiar functionality.

Is there a way to get the 4x4 pattern CM lockscreen the on a stock rooted ROM?

Moto Display = LiveDisplay (so you have it)
extra buttons - with xposed is possible
double power camera - in Moto it's double phone twist for camera
I suspect I'll find that the double twist thing is stupid and gimmicky, unless I find that the power button is just inconvenient.
But I'm glad it's basically available. What about the 4x4 pattern lock screen, as @sunny_j asked about?
Is that available through xposed? I've never used it (and have no idea what role it serves--yet), but my understanding is that it requires root, which requires unlocking the bootloader, which I understand is easy enough.

Hi guys! I'm a potential buyer of the moto g5 plus. Question. I see that stock moto fingerprint gestures (swipe for back, recents..) are super cool. Are custom ROMs implementing those too? Or at least is it a feature that people want? Having no software nav buttons is great.
Thanks for the answer.

Yes u can use onekey navigation in custom rom but in custom rom there no such feature name onekey navigation but you can set fingerprint sensor in gesture menu whatever you want
