I recently dropped my phone ever since then it has stopped working(wifi and Bluetooth). Hoping that i or a technician would be able to repair it but the thing is i can't seem to locate it on the motherboard. Did you manage to fix it ?
No luck. Bluetooth not connect, able to search WiFi but can’t connect.

Someone posted this month ago but got no answer.
I will post it aga: does anybody know how to open the Athena ? I drop mine and the radio has very low signal, I assume the antenna broke or disconnected. Need help !!!

get the screws out from the bottom, use a flathead screwdriver and hope u dont snap it in half just joking. the above manual is your best bet.

No trouble at all.
I could open my x7501 but didn't find what was the problem. I thought it could be a contact or something loose but didn't see anything. A recommendation if you want to open your athena: stick to the manual ! I took out some button that should not and broke them. Some glue fixed it but they are stiff now

Sorry, when I said radio I was referring to the phone ..
I have an XDA Atom, it falls down on the floor and the screen broken
then I bought one from ebay and change it myself
but For no apparent reason the Wi-Fi stopped working, do hard reset and this time there's no WiFi even on the wireless manager, it's gone!!
Do O2 self diag gives me "Get Adapter Info () return FALSE"
Any other details to help me solve this?

try to reflash the unit, if you can't still use wifi. It could have been HW problem and not SW.
reflashing is not working. it's definitely HW issue.
so, do u know where the wifi chip located on the board, just want to look at it for curiosity

that I don't have any idea hahahaha. don't have a circuit diagram for the mobo of atom wish I could have that information as well....
i have the same problem after i broke my screen in a fall.
i went thru the diagnosis.. my WLAN and FMradio is gone.. same like urs..

i think im having the same issue with my atom exec..just dropped it about 2ft from the ground..the screen not broken..but have problem with wifi signal..don't understand it..i can activate it..but hardly detect any signals and connect..pls help guys..

sorry bro, but the fact that it can be HW issue, then replacement is the only solution or fix with SC and or any technician that is knowledgable with the unit.
Actually my mobile not only fall down on the floor
but it's ran away and jump from my hand to the ceiling and fall down on the sharp arm of my bed
so that's it, lcd broken and I fix it but my W.lan is the only not working part

well if WLAN is the only thing that's not working, you can just leave it as is. it's better to have a broken WLAN than a paperweight unit right?

My wireless is not working. The wifi self diagnostic returns "GetAdapterInfo() return FALSE...".
Can you please help me in this problem???

My wifi working sometimes well like may be once in 50 try. So it is not something related to hardware. and at that time wifi self diagnostic returns proper MAC address.
Can you please guide me which radio is latest one for O2 Atom exec and if this is not latest then from where I can download latest.
Looking for response.

Here is the service manual for the wing...I'm sure it's in there somewhere.
Have anybody taked this phone to warranty about wifi problems and if you have how they fixed it and did it really work after that ? I just want to know because if they didnt really get it fixed there i wont send my phone there. thanks already answers

There is nothing wrong with the Wifi module, after trying tens of Roms, I've learned that it's an operating system bug, which was fixed in Miui and Oxygen Roms.
Sending the phone back to warranty will not solve ANYTHING.
What i have read about experiences servicing the phone (in Finland) for the know bugs, they do little or nothing. Waste of time in my opinion...

but my wifi didnt work at all it. It connects but not work when i try to go internet
and I have tested with all best roms example: miui, oxygen, Void, 138, 160, 162
I can post video what my phone does when i connect to internet

If the B138 doesn't work at all, then contact Huawei Returns. I thought you were complaining about disconnections...my bad

It is not always a problem related to the phone - sometimes the wireless access point is just not configured properly or it is a netgear/thompson/etc.
I use the Oxygen-ROM and I do not have problems connecting to my routers running dd-wrt for example. On the other hand I cannot connect to a cheap router provided by the ISP of a friend.

but i went to shop where i bought this phone and they tested it there and it does same trick, i even try different secure options on my wlan and my friends wlan and same thing
If it does not work with any ROM and with any wirless access point I suggest you ask for a replacement, this clearly is a hardware-failure then.
So Just wanted to know if you think the G6 is going to have the same stupid WiFi problem as my very recently departed G2, with it stuck "turning on" (yes I did see Nyansuki post about this exact problem). My G2 started doing it about 6 months ago and ended up being smashed today because I was sick of it :good:. granted my G2 did last 4 years of being thrashed but still...
I love the knock on feature LG has but if the WiFi is going to be stupid I'll go another brand because I use WiFi 90% of the time and I wont put up with it not working right.

I have the g5 and g6 neither have WiFi connection issues. My g3 had that issue though.

FWIW, no wifi issues on my LG G2, G3, G4, or my G6.

Update:
Already tried with my wifi at home and there is no issue..this morning i came to work,my lg g6 can already detecting the 2.4ghz wifi in here..maybe related to software,i alsi dont know..but im glad it resolved..thanks

This is strange..now my oneplus 3 cannot detect the 2.4ghz wifi..but,my g6 is ok..what is happening
I have problems with it connecting to open WiFi networks a lot. On the subway it wont connect at stations before the train take off. If I go to setting and actually click the network it will. Annoying.
