You can easily recover your warranty by locking your bootloader and having stock ROM installed ( i have tried it).
The link below have the stock images for k6 power (k33a42). Just flash the s156 zip file (the 1st one). These are not flashable through TWRP. Just follow the tutorial in the below link.

Not working with k33a48 devices
I searched and tried many stock roms but with all i get a error message that "this zip is for k33 devices and your device is k33a48" can anyone send me a link to download stock rom for k33a48 devices. It will be very helpful.
Hi, is this method safely without losing imei and other things.?

Hello folks,
So i just bought a new Note 4 SM-910C which is running android kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box. Everything is working fine except kitkat feels outdated and lags sometimes its not as fluid as lollipop on my Galaxy S5. I was thinking of flashing the stock lollipop rom available for my country from Sammobile. But as i was searching through forums....i read somewhere that its not possible to downgrade once you have upgraded to 5.1.1 or 5.0.1 . Kindly confirm the following
1) is it possible to flash stock 4.4.4 after flashing stock 5.0.1?
2) If i upgrade even further to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1 will i still be able to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4?
3) Will any of these trip my knox (its imp as my phone is still under warranty)
Hardware question
the power button on my note 4 feels bit loose....its like i can press it from one side and the other side would come up a bit.....but it presses and clicks perfect nomatter where i press it ...upper end ....middle or lower end...is this normal for it to be little loose or should it be rock solid?

HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED BEST REGARDS
So. U CANT downgrade stock samsung rom. Because of the bootloader from samsung. And if u do. It will just brick ur device. And IF u rooted and have custom recovery. U can just like download kitkat rom that flashable from recovery. Then just do flash. And DONT install like lollipop rom if u still on KitKat bootloader. It may cause prob so if u have like L bootloader. U can go to kitkat using cusrom. (NOT ODIN) so yeah good luck
Im unable to understand what you Just said can you please simplify it.....andwhat about the hardware issue that i just mentioned i went to Market to check a few other phones only one of the six i checked had the same wobbly power button. Is this normal ?

The wobbly button is normal if u use it on long time. But. The downgrade is the hardware prob. Samsung decide that so we cant downgrade. If we do. We brick our device / destroy it. But if u use lollipop then root and install like kitkat custom rom via custom recovery. It will work fine. Because it didnt flash the older bootloader

Dude
Just download the latest Lollipop from Samsung and you will be always safe.
To install a Custom Lollipop you should first flash the respective Bootloader and Modem that are contained into Samsung's release.
What I've told you will ALWAYS work. Flash a Sammobile firmware corresponding to the Custom ROM version you are intending regardless if it's LL or MM.

now i am on this rom lolipop 511 ...my phone came directly with this version of android 511
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/5-0-1-dn-rom-e-team-t3031712
and want to try this mm custom rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/rom-erobot-rom-note4-1-0-xxu2dpcb-t3357271
but maybe get some issue and want to return to my old rom ditto rom so when i want to try any custom rom even mm or lolipop i need to flash stock one by odin then flash custom rom even from mm to lolipop or just flash bootloader and modem ...
thx in advance
Hi ammarsg
To play safe and assure everything will work fine you should always match the ROM firmware code with your Bootloader+Modem Code
For example:
If you flash a Lolipop 5.1.1 XXU1AOH2 would be great if your BL+Modem could have the same code. This is not always possible so you have to find the closest one regarding your model/region.
The same will happen to a Marshmallow 6.0.1 XXU2DPE5. You should find a Marshmallow as closest as of the ROM for your BL+Modem.
It wont work if you mix Lollipop x Marshmallow.
The only overhead you will have while flashing an entire Sammobile firmware is that it will overwrite your Custom Recovery so you will have to flash it too again using Odin before the ROM.
If you are able to find ONLY the Bootloader+Modem needed for your model/region it will be easier but it's not usually available.
Hope you have understood now.
Nice regards.

Can someone please explain to me the importance of updating firmware?
What exactly is firmware that only Motorola can touch?
Why can't this be included while installing a ROM?
Does Motorola somehow have the capability to touch a certain partition that we cannot?
If you flash official Motorola stock ROM, how does it differ from flashing custom ROM?They cannot do the same thing?
Lastly, if the Samsung galaxy S3 is already running 7.1, then why must we update "firmware"?
I know for a certainty Samsung stopped pushing updates long ago for the S3. Please help I'm very confused by this! I've never known to do this in all my years of flashing yet you all keep mentioning it here! Only thing I've known to flash outside of ROM was the radio/modem/baseband whatever you wanna call it. And that was a flashable zip.
How can old phones get new custom ROMs if there are no official releases for current "firmware"? Thanks all! Links and input appreciated!

Updating the firmware is necessary because the firmware brings a newer version of bootloader and for it to be compatible you need the latest version of bootloader (B1.03 right now)
Other phones need firmware or driver updates too. Sometimes they can be baked into the rom or an additional zip. It's up to the manufacturer how they deploy drivers.
Also the well known sim on/off switch is a driver inside the modem. And if the manufacturer don't release the source you cannot see the changes and need the stock rom/files to flash them prior the custom rom to get newer drivers.

Hello guys,
my phone is rooted and has a unlocked bootloader. Though my phone is rooted, I received the recent Nougat Update for our phones and installed it. After that I had several problems like bluetooth not working and bad network quality (internet and call quality).
My question now are:
1. What will happen, if I completely reinstall the stock rom? I don't mind' if I loose root.
2. Is there a Manual / Guide how I can flash the stock rom?
3. Is it possible to lock bootloader again (meaning that I want to make the phone like factory state again or like i buyed it the first time).

You can roll back to stock but i recommend you to get a custom rom.
But if u really wanna get the stock version then just download the MM stock rom package and place the UPDATE.APP file of stock rom you downloaded into your sdcard/dload.
You need to create the dload folder in your sd card and then power off the phone and press vol up and power button. Phone will reboot into recovery and start the process.

Thanks for your answer. Which stock rom do you recommend?
I am in meticulus G+ Group, but I like stock nougat rom very, it's much better than stock MM.

Do not use official Nougat by Huawei. It has many problems including battery drainage faster than MM also it has bluetooth and some signal issues. I am currently using Meticulus custom rom (CM13). Works fine with no problems.

I have searched the whole web. but, I haven't find the solution to downgrade the bootloader for Binary 6. Well, my phone's OS is dead after upgrading to pie. So, apparently the only way for me and to others who are facing the similar issue is to wait until someone releases Binary 6 combination firmware for SM-G950FD.
Good news: It's easy to get your phone running if your bootloader is not upgraded to binary 6. Cuz, Binary 5 firmwares and combination files are available out there and they are 100% working unless your MB is dead.
Note: I have flashed following stock firmwares successfully through ODIN [INS-G950FXXU6DSK9-20191231094010 and INS-G950FXXS6DTA1-20200120123810] yet no luck. Can't boot the OS. Tried to root the phone, cant able to flash the custom recovery. Nothing just works.
Someone, please tag me if ever finds U6 combination file. That's the only hope to bring back my phone to life.
