Hey guys, I need advice. My mom's LG is having issue and I can't fix it, whatever I did leads me nowhere. Now it is showing that annoying error and I can't do anything. If I boot it, it shows this error and phone shuts down. If I go download mode it shows error and shuts down. If I attempt hard reset with buttons, it takes 10 minutes on android logo and after restart it's same. Even when shut down I put it on charger, battery would appear with showing it charging but then it would show again error and phone shuts down. Connecting it on PC shows it as removable devixece with approx. 63 MB memory? I have been searching about this but nothing to help me.. I am becoming desperate.

Hello everyone.
I'm in a very tough spot in the recovery of my LG G2 smartphone.. I've tried every single method under the sun for the G2 (d801) to no avail. My latest attempt to unbrick this thing has been to use the LG Mobile Support tool off of the LG website. I've downloaded and installed the tool, clicked "Options", "Upgrade Recovery", entered my IMEI number in the "Enter the phone info" dialog box, then when it gets halfway through... around 48% complete saying "Checking battery power level" or something along those lines, then fails with the error "Battery level low, upgrade is unavailable. Upgrade halted by lack of battery power may cause serious errors in the phone software. Recharge the battery fully and try upgrade again ".
I am unable to get the device to charge because when I power it off, then plug it in, it begins looping at the LG logo... It'll stay black for 5 seconds, light up the logo for another 5 seconds, wash rinse and repeat... It's been like this for over 3 weeks now... I've left it in the looping state plugged in for about 7 days now, and it still comes up with this error. I've read on another XDA thread that it does charge while looping, but the mobile support tool doesn't seem to realize it.
Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated. My device has been bricked since August 23rd.

Did you fix it/ find a way?
I have the same problem. "Battery level low, upgrade is unavailable. Upgrade halted by lack of battery power may cause serious errors in the phone software. Recharge the battery fully and try upgrade again. "
But my battery is at 100%!!! I tried it at 70% and first got the error. But when I was at 57%, I didnt get the error.
Take your battery out. Put back in. Dont power on phone. Just plug in a normal charger.
See if that charges your bat without needing to turn it on. The screen still turns on to show the %.
(But when I got to full power, the error message didnt go away).
t5678. No, I was not able to find a fix. The G2 is unibody, therefore the battery cannot be removed. I have left the device on the charger for 24 hours, and it still gives me the "battery level is low, upgrade unavailable" message in LG Mobile Support Tool. Despite people saying "Try it in x86", and "try it in x64"... I've tried the exact same method in Windows 7 and 10 and none have worked so far...
I have a galaxy s4 (i9500) and got it in used condition, a year ago. Never suspected a single problem in it.
Today I powered off my mobile for charging then after 25 minutes I took it off. I held the power button then I saw my boot logo(Where there is written Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9500). That logo kept showing as usual for 2 seconds and screen went black and again that logo appeared for 2 seconds and screen gone black and again it appeared, so, I'm stuck in kinda loop not a bootlooop exactly(maybe because bootloop refers to being stuck on boot screen while in my case its boot logo). I then removed the battery and inserted it back after an hour and as soon as I inserted it back the mobile itself turned on as if I held power button but this time again I was stuck in that loop. Moreover when I tried going into download mode, I didn't even need to hold the power button along with the volume down and home, it itself proceeded to confirmation screen of odin mode. And after that confirmation screen appeared saying that whether I really want to boot into download mode, disappeared itself after like 3 or 4 seconds even though I didn't press any key. And in case I press vol up key confirming to boot to download mode, then it again takes me to that loop. I'm too much confused . I can't even flash the firmware as it won;t boot to download mode neither am I able to boot into recovery.
Now do u really think the problem might be the power button(Which is maybe stuck in the state of pressed).
Or else it can be the battery coz my battery is also just average not too good?
I also inserted the command( in build.prop file) for enabling nav. bar and the code was correct but I never rebooted after inserting that. this was the first time I rebooted after that.
SOrry for some bad English.
Do you have something like this? I'm now having problem with getting my phone back to work...

From what you say it seams like power button problem, try to start the phone and connect it to the charger. When it start take out the battery, it will be powered by charger and you will eliminate battery problem.
Hello,
As a newcomer to the forums, I'd like to ask for some help. I tried some of the methods described in several posts, to no avail. The situation is this:
Yesterday, I forgot my Defy+ on my desk and the alarm went of at 21:00 as programmed. It went for about 30 mins after that it was cancelled by default. I switched the wifi on and the phone restarted. In fact it stuck in a restart loop, mostly with the Motorola logo on screen. I took the battery out, kept it for like 30 mins, popped it back in and it went to the recovery console with the exclamation mark and the little droid icon. It stayed there for 30 sec, after that it went dark. Now this happened before so I did not panic and tried the battery swap again.
However, this time the phone is silent. Dead. If I plug it into a PC it gives me the notification sound (like when you pull out a usb drive from your PC) and the battery still gives out 3.7V.
No reaction for pressing the power button or volume up/down or any combination of that.
My question is: Is there a way to revive my beloved phone or is it just a piece of history now?
Additional info: Yes, it was a stock Defy+ with Android 2.3.4.
Any help is appreciated!
Update
Update: When I plug it into a PC with the Volume- button pressed down, a white LED starts to light until I disconnect it. During this if I try to enter bootloader mode, the PC recognises it as an unknown device and immediately prompts me to reconnect it.
Any ideas?
I was charging my phone few days back, and after about 2 hours I checked into my phone and it was stuck showing my background with no applications etc. It did not respond to any button presses except holding down the power button.
After trying to turn my phone back on it got stuck at the OnePlus spinning logo. I shut down the phone after about 30 minutes of spinning.
I was able to access fast boot (bootloader) menu and recovery menu, and even tried clearing my phones cache and system data in the recovery menu but this didn't help.
I read that I might've 'bricked' my phone and I tried some guides on the internet on how to fix it, but I was unable get my phone recognized by my computer so that didn't work out either.
If I have my computer plugged to my PC it does indeed charge, but my device manager doesn't show any new devices, nor do I get any pop ups for new device detected. This is keeping me from even trying to unbrick my phone.
thanks for all the help in advance!
Hi guys, first time posting here.
My phone's been stuck in a bootloop for months now and I want to try getting it to work again.
My phone, when connected to power, shows "RECOVERY BOOTING....." on the top left and not even a second later shuts down and turns back on with the same message. When disconnecting the cable, the phone just dies. When I try entering download mode, I get the warning screen about downloading custom os (blah blah blah). When pressing volume up to continue, my phone turns off again and continues bootlooping. Does anyone know how to fix this?
