Hi guys,
I need some help. A few days ago I was trying to root my HTC One m9+ but something goes wrong, I deleted everything and now I cant repair what I did.
The download-mode screen says:
hTC download mode
*** RELOCKED ***
htc_hiau_ml_tuhl PVT S-ON
LK-1.01.0000
RADIO-UNKNOWN
OpenDSP-UNKNOWN
OS-2.27.401.1
Sep 14 2016, 16:36:10(809431)
And I don't know how to re-install the firmware again, somebody knows how can I recovery my phone? which RUU I need? If any of you knows how can I repair my phone or if there is a solution, I will be really grateful.
Thank you very much

To flash this on S-On, you must have your device Relocked (on S-Off you don't need to relock) and then in fastboot mode:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
fastboot reboot
Please be aware that you'll lose all data doing this.

Hello, have a mytouch 3g 1.2 seems to be semi bricked, cant boot into recovery, or boot into actual rom, pretty much just hboot and fastboot. At the moment it's flashed with:
Sapphire Unknown 32A ENG S-ON H
HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP31000)
CPLD-13
RADIO-3.22.20.17
I've been searching the forums for hours and cant seem to fix this. When I try and revert back to the stock sappimg or any sappimg for that matter it generally gets stuck at the system part where it's unzipping.
When I try and fastboot boot a recovery it just hangs as if i was trying to enter it through a normal method, Im assuming the problem has something to do with the fact that it's S-ON and not S-OFF, but i dont know how to remedy that without being able to get into the OS or Recovery.
Also when i do a fastboot getvar version-main it's 2.53.707.2, not sure if that makes any difference.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
i dont know
What ever you do, don't flash anything before we tell you...
Read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734617
Continue from step 4 i believe... or wait until DonJuan692006 comes to the rescue :0)
Thanks for the response.
When I attempt to flash the radio.img, it sends it, says OKAY then as it starts writing it gets to (bootloader) signature checking....FAILED (remote: signature verify fail).
Any other ideas?
You have s-on. You need to switch that to off.
Try to run this command in fastboot mode:
Code:
fastboot oem eraseconfig
It should set you back to s-off and then you can flash the radio.
Thanks man, you are a huge help, was able to get everything up and running perfectly!
Glad it worked out :0)
Guess I'm too late to come to the rescue, lol. Just bought my first house and have been moving and such all week.
Hi to all! Sorry for my bad english!
I have a big problem with my Magic 32A. It can't boot (it stay on the splash screen when I try to boot), it can only go in fastboot and stock recovery. I have this words in bootloader:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.0013 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-2.22.28.25

FASTBOOT
<VOL DOWN> HBoot Mode
<SEND> Reset Device
<ACTION> Restart to HBoot
<MENU> Power Down
When I try to flash the engineering spl or a custom recovery or only boot into a custom recovery, it give always the same error:
"REMOTE: NOT ALLOW"
I read that someone used a goldcard but i don't now what is it and however I can't do one because I can't use any ADB commands (phone doesn't boot).
I read also that to solve my problem you need to know the version-main and the CID; these are mine:
version-main: 1.88.531.1
CID:TIM__401
So I can't do anything (the fastboot commands don't work because they give me the error remote:not allow) and I'm disperate! I hope someone will help me...Please write in this thread only if you can help me

Yo... got your pm.
It's always better to search or start a new thread... this way, my help is visible to everybody and all can benefit from it. All help over pm is lost and is a shame if anybody else is in the same problem.
The fix:
Download this file:https://rapidshare.com/files/191906182/2.15.901.4.zip
Download my fastboot commander tool found in my signature (not the magic version)
Using the tool, flash the file using the "Full zip" tab and do so inside fastboot mode.
It can take some time to finish....
Once done you should be back to stock 2.15.901.4 TIM Italy rom.
From there, follow my root guide which is found in my signature...
Good luck
Hi Mumilover!! Thank you a lot for you help but i can't boot yet. Fastboot Commander give me:
###Calling fastboot with: getvar version-baseband###
********************************
###Calling fastboot with: flash zip C:\Users\Fede\Downloads\2.15.901.4.zip###
********************************
Flashing "zip" - PLEASE WAIT.
Status of zip flash can only be seen on the "Actual-Output" tab!.
Did i do something wrong? i did what you said to me.
Please
nothing is wrong... it's gona take around 5 min to finish... All good
I have renamed the zip "sappimg" and i have applied it by hboot mode...it works!! Thank ou a lot Mumilover!! You saved me
No problem...
Hi there,
i have a HTC Magic here. When starting up it get's stuck at the Vodafone screen. I can't enter the recovery-mode.
I'm able to enter hboot and fastboot - the screen shows the following:
Code:
*** UNLOCKED ***
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.0014 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-6.35.08.29
I thought 32A is H only, and 32B is G? :silly:
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
version-main: 3.12.0.0
While in fastboot-usb-mode i can see the phone on my pc (i used the android-sdk-driver, now my phone shows up as "Android Bootloader Interface") with:
Code:
fastboot devices
MB2********* fastboot
but it doesn't show up here (while phone is in hboot-mode or fastboot-usb-mode):
Code:
adb devices
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
List of devices attached
NBH-files on the sd-card are rejected with "Main version is older". Any command for flashing or booting with fastboot end up in "command error" or "remote: not allowed" or something like that.
Most recovery-tutorials say that i need adb and fastboot - but as i said adb doesn't work. Other tutorials say i need a NBH-file, but all of those are rejected with "Main version is older". I also tried some sappimg.zip-files, but the phone shows up an error-message for a very short time ("wrong zipped...", i'm not able to read that so fast).
I also got a goldcard, but this didn't change anything.
Code:
fastboot getvar cid
cid: VODAP102
Is there any help for me and my phone (step by step with needed files)?
I've got the same problem. It's been almost a month now and still no luck.
Did your problem start when you unlocked your bootloader? That's when mine started.
It was the phone of a friend of mine and it already worked with some custom rom. But (if i understood right) he erased everything with fastboot.
I don't know if this is really version 32A, because "G" should always be with 32B. The other thing is that the phone is from Vodafone Germany, but in Germany there normally is no 32A - it's only 32B. That's why i don't really know which files to use for the phone.
Did you already make your goldcard? And if so, do you know if it's working?
I still have the goldcard I originally used to put cyonogenmod on my phone, but it's not working now. I bought a new sdcard and made a new goldcard but it won't work either.
try to remove the battery for 5 mins, when is removed click some times power button; reinsert battery and try to go in recovery.... i had same problem and i solved with this method
@ dante96: No, that's not working for me - still just get the Vodafone screen. I think that everything on the phone was erased and without recovery on it i won't be able to recovery-mode, am i right?
Yesterday something weird happened. I just tried a
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
and i got a lot of output - about CID, SuperCID, device-number, partitions and whatever, but i hadn't the time to copy that or try other things.
I tried that command again later and just got "remote: not allowed". It seems like i missed a chance to recover the phone yesterday. :crying:
Ok, what i know right now:
My phone does take sappimg.zip after command:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
BUT:
My phone is not 32A as shown, it's 32B - i can't flash files for 32A because of "Lack of heap", so the files seem to be to big to unzip to RAM.
That's why i can't flash 3.54.527.6 BrightStar Brazil or 3.54.631.3 Rogers Canada to get it running.
For 32B there is only one official rom higher than 3.12.0.0:
3.12.531.1 T-Mobile USA FRG83D
Tried to flash this one, it's updating boot und bootloader but after unzipping radio the screen turns black and nothing happens - tried it 3 or 4 times right now.
This got me from:
Code:
*** UNLOCKED ***
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.00[COLOR="Red"]14[/COLOR] (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-6.35.08.29
to:
Code:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.00[COLOR="Red"]13[/COLOR] (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-6.35.08.29
And i know that my Goldcard is correct - with another SD-card i just get "wrong model id" with the sappimg.zip mentioned above (3.12.531.1 T-Mobile USA FRG83D).
Does anyone have an idea what to do next or why screen turns black?
Some of the official roms for 32A are splittet into one 10 MB and one 90 MB file (for example this one "RUU_Sapphire_Rogers_WWE_3.05.631.7_R_release_signed_NoDriver.exe"), i think i could flash those - BUT i can't find those files for 3.54.527.6 BrightStar Brazil or 3.54.631.3 Rogers Canada. Anyone does?
Can you get those files from the temp folder?
5[Strogino] said:
1. Run Ruu
2. Don't flash, but go to temp folder and search for rom.zip or nbh-file
3. Rename to SAPPIMG.ZIP (if zip) or SAPPIMG.NBH (if nbh).
4. Place file to root it sdcard. Exit from ruu.
5. Turn phone off, then turn on by pressing and holding volumedown + power
6. Phone will start into hboot-mode and search for rom. Then it will flash.

Check htcdev.com under the unlock bootloader section for files.
Got mine back to life.
I flashed SPL 1.76.0013 from htcdev.com (Vodafone generic) and tried to install "3.12.531.1 T-Mobile USA FRG83D" again. With this SPL he managed to flash the radio but aborted afterwards.
Back on 1.33.0013 i tried the same rom again, now he flashed all of it. The phone is working so far - now i have to try to get a non-perfect SPL on it and afterwards a custom rom...
Code:
sapphire pvt 32b ship s-on g
hboot-1.33.0013 (sapp10000)
cpld-10
radio-2.22.28.25
Was the Bootloader locked or unlocked when you got that to work?
I flashed the SPL from htcdev when it was locked. Then they sent me an unlock-token which i just tried, so it was unlocked afterwards.
But i think i had to lock it again with
Code:
fastboot oem lock
to let the phone take those sappimg.zip without error.
Now i'm stuck again - i want Cyanogenmod on the HTC. But i can't get a non-perfect SPL with update.zip on it (and also no engineering SPL), in recovery-mode it just says "E: Signature verification failed - installation aborted" - but those SPL are signed.
Looks like i have to read some more.
Did you rename the engineering SPL to sappimg.zip and try it in HBoot?

No, copied it to SD-card and renamed it to "update.zip". Then i bootet in Recovery-Mode with Home+Power and applied the update.zip from SD-card. This gave me the error from above.
I think the phone won't take it in hboot when it's renamed to sappimg.zip.
If you SPL is perfected you need to follow these instructions
1. Create a Goldcard.
2. Copy the required sappimg.nbh/zip to the Goldcard.
3. Boot your phone while holding the VOLUME-DOWN key.
4. Press the ACTION KEY (=trackball) to start the update.
5. Wait until the update completes and press the ACTION KEY (=trackball) to reboot your phone.
6. (Upgrade to the rooted ROM of your choice).
That didn't work, because my main-version was to high.
I rootet the phone with this tutorial and got the recovery on my phone.
Afterwards i installed an engineering SPL in recovery-mode. With this i got back to "1.91.162.1 Vodafone Germany DRC92".
I rootet the phone again with the tutorial above and installed Cyanogenmod.
Everything working fine!
Code:
sapphire unknown 32b ship s-on g
hboot-1.33.0007 (sapp10000)
cpld-10
radio-2.22.19.26I
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
version-main: 1.91.162.1
Good to hear you got it working.
I got my mainver from 3.12.0.0 to 3.57.0.0 by getting the file from the temp folder but it didn't really help me.
I think the problem must be the goldcard. I'll try borrowing my Dad's phone this weekend and see if I can fix it.
My G2 is TIM version, I update the SPL to 1.33.0014 by accident. now there is NO Rom and NO Recovery in the phone, I'm already official unlocked but I can't use the fastboot flash Recovery or something else . I try lots of RUU but all of them has unknown fault whatever with or with out goldcard . If I use sappimg.zip to fastboot and there is no "do you want to start update? " , when the bar finish it just back to fastboot screen .
I've almost tried everything and all of didn't work. I can do nothing
PLEASE Help me. I want to use this Phone
forgive me my poor english and I really appreciate anyone give me some suggestion Thanks a lot.

I'm pretty sure you have to re-lock the bootloader before you try to flash RUUs. Type "fastboot oem lock" and then "fastboot reboot-bootloader". Don't worry about locking the bootloader, you can use the same Unlock_code.bin you got from HTCDEV to unlock it as many times as you want.
While you're at the command line, could you also run "fastboot getvar version-main" and tell me the number it gives you?

Hi there,
I'm using an HTC m9+ prime camera edition. The Asian RUU that you have provided, will it work for me? I want to root. And it's an Indian model.
