I was using GamStream just fine before the update, and can't anymore. I tried to trackback all that has changed, and the only thing that I can think of is the update.
My PC has the latest Nvidia drivers which were released early September. I used DDU to uninstall, reinstalled drivers, reset cache and data of "Nvidia Games" on the shield, yet it won't work. Turned off firewall on PC just to make sure, no improvement. Very frustrating!
The Shield sees the PC as being on and available (green light next to games), but once it tries to connect I constantly receive error 80330209. On my PC's event viewer I find the following:
Faulting application name: nvstreamer.exe, version: 7.1.2264.7232, time stamp: 0x598d7860

Any thoughts from anyone?
Much appreciated!!
Damien
At least an answer? Even a "Works for me!" would be appreciated!
Or maybe no one uses GameStream?
Gamestream still works for me with the latest Nvidia drivers, 6.0 Shield TV update and latest Nvidia Games app.
Try logging out and back into GeForce Experience and the Nvidia Games app perhaps?

Thanks for your response. I already tried logging in and out, didn't do anything. I also uninstalled updates for Nvidia Games (latest update Oct 5), but previous version did the same.
Finally, I just clean installed Win 10 on my gaming PC this morning, installed all drivers and stuff, installed one game, tried gamestream and got the same error.
Last thing I can think off...reset the Shield!! Damn frustrating...

Have uninstalled, rebooted & reinstalled several times.

I'm using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, no problem
at all.
Suggestion, uninstall, full shutdown, not reboot. Turn off power, pull out power plug for one minute.
Startup again, install Kies (make sure your version is downloaded from Samsung Mobile website which is the same country as your CSC). Do a shutdown again.
Bootup, let your system bootup fully. Plug in your Note and let all the drivers install complete before you start Kies.
Hope the above helps.

I would do exactly what zard (post #2) is suggesting, I pretty much did the same thing when I had a problem with Kies and it went away.
I have a similar problem.

I just checked, there's a new version of KIES on the Samsung site (Ver 2.2.0.12014_18_7). I'm on Samsung India. Downloading it right now. I'll report back with results as soon as I install it.
the issue can only be solved with changing the compatibility settings. Enter the properties of the file. Use compatibility with windows XP SP2. Check the admin prev also. Working fine.

Hi Folks,

This worked for me
I'm connecting a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to a pc running Windows 7 Pro x64. Kies would only run in lite mode and crash when I switched to normal mode. Since Kies is really a .Net Framework application, I downloaded and installed the latest (RTM) version of dot Net 4.5 and installed it. Then I ran Windows Update which updated dot Net and in addition, the phone's driver. I rebooted and all ran fine. If you're trying to sync your Galaxy Note 2 with Outlook 2010, remember to make sure that you either start Outlook first or make sure it starts up (automatically) when the Kies software initializes.
Hope this helps someone
naw just uninstall everything of samsunf kies products. Must completely done.then install ccleaner. clean everything and registry.then reboot. and install a new version of kies. I'm sure I has this problem b4. but after I did like a said above everything goes fine.

I have just installed the new Consumer Preview and love it!
However I have a Nvidia 555M graphics card which uses Nvidia Optimus, with out the nvidia drivers installed the graphics card simply runs on full the whole time but windows only sees the intel graphics chip, as such I can't play games well and still have horrible battery life!
So has anyone got the drivers to install/Optimus working right?
If so how?
having the same problem & graphics card,
according to NVIDIA you can just download the latest win7 drivers, works for some, not for all/always
Kind regards, Jonas

(not enough post, so just copy/paste)
edit: make sure you pick the correct bit version, or it will just tell you that it can't find your GPU
edit2: heared rumors about more success without the physx & auto-update; so disable those if you want
eidt3: just to say... working for me now, after several restarts (yesterday it failed after a restart or 2)

Hey,
try rebooting & re-installing the NVIDIA drivers a few times, it should work.
Also make sure you have the correct version of the drivers (x86 for 32-bit & x64 for 64-bit)
I tried installing windows 7 drivers, but it didn't work for my gt555m. Now that release preview is out, is there another way of making Optimus work?
Install the new verde drivers. There availible on the website and there made for windows 8. Stopped all my crashes and slow games. The newest ones also are supposd to have alotta updates for games

Hello XDA,
I have recently installed Windows 8 pro x64 and loving it so far But......
I have a Hp Pavillion with Amd Radeon Hd 6470M. Under 'Device Manager' it is indicated as 7400M with that little 'caution symbol'.
I have tried to update the drivers via the catalyst Program 'v12' for windows 8, but if I try to install it says "catalyst cannot download drivers because of incompatible software bla bla bla. I got another setup from hp.de and I managed to proceed with the installation. During installation the screen flickers a lot 'normal I presume' but after restarting I get a blank screen, lots of flickering and the fun going nuts. I managed to get the catalyst software running through 'run' and uninstalled the newly installed drivers, back to normal!!
Until now the 'caution' symbol is persistent.
Does any one know where to get 3rd party drivers or if you have a solution it will be highly appreciated!!

No third party drivers mate... I had the same problem... My advice is to dual boot your lappy.. I have a DV6 pavilion... Also do not install catalyst manager software... The only thing you can do right now is to update the driver using device manager...
i have a dv7 i tried everything except the obvious and it worked. I downloaded my drivers from hp's support site. Changed the compatability to windows 7 and installed as admin worked great all back to normal.
On my dv6 3006tx the default Windows 7 drivers work well - if you can force the installation of them.
Look for a swsetup folder on your C:\ root. There may be correct drivers within there.
If not, manually download the correct driver's from HP's site. Do NOT use an automatic driver detector. Run the installer, and everything will extract to C:\AMD or something. Then you must install the driver files directly through Device Manager. Right click, update driver software. Try both options. Also try the 'have disk' sub-option, and navigate to the .inf files you find in the directory.
Unfortunately, it's mostly trial and error. The drivers probably will work - but AMD just won't let you install them! If only there were a way to bypass every single OS version check they make...
Also try the generic Windows 8 GPU drivers from AMD's site. You probably won't get switchable graphics, though.

You're welcome.
im also have Hp Pavilion but Amd Radeon 6480G and this drivers works work me good

ps im have G6-1215SP and you?
I'm new to development, but I thought I'd try my hand at it. I got android studio, and after a little trouble shooting got it to work, but I cannot get the emulator to work. When I try I get the following error: "J:\Users\Tatsuno\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\tools\emulator.exe -avd Nexus_S_API_21 -netspeed full -netdelay none
emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!"
I enabled virtualizing in my bios (I hope I did it right, I've never done it before) and attempted to install intelhaxm-android.exe. but when I tried to install that I got the following error: "VT not suported
This computer does not support Intel virtualization Technology (VT-x). HAXM cannot be installed
Please refer to the intel HAXM documentation for more information"
As I understand it, my problem is that my computer isn't acknowledging that virtualizing is enabled. any ideas on how to fix this?
Standard emulator very slow, use Genymotion or some other fast emulator
I have a OnePlus 8pro phone and also a scan tool tablet loaded with the obd scan tool software thats supposed to be locked to the device but I've been able to successfully extract the APK from the device and all needed files and install it on my phone problem is manufacturer found out Im assuming that people were doing this and in later software up dates added something that makes the program check the device. so now I'm no long able to update the program on my phone. even tried updating program on original tablet and extracting updated APK but it won't start up saying it's not the right device can I spoof the app to make it think it's on the correct device and running correct Android version while being on my phone. Please and thank you for any help/advise in advance!
