Hi, so I've got a Moto z force Droid (Verizon) and I've been using it the UK on giffgaff (carrier) it was working like normal for 3/4 weeks then my battery died and ever since I switched it back on I can't get any signal.
Things I've tried:
Hard reset
Factory reset
*#4636 - doesn't even do anything when entered
Cleared cache
I put 2 different sim cards in and they don't work but they do work on my old phone.
I've tried almost everything I can find by Google searching and YouTube.
I read something about flashing files but I'm a newbie and I'm pretty sure the phone is unrootable.
Any ideas or help to fix this would be amazing.

I got my sim free legend today and updated to froyo. Everything went fine until I installed a couple of apps and went to set up my apns and settings kept force closin. So I guess factory rest would help, fone reboots lock screen comes up on unlocking the phone instantly comes up with force close couldnt even get into android. Tried a couple more times then pulled the sim out turned it on and setup come on and went fine. Any1 got any ideas why?
After upgrading to 2.26.60, the phone resets every 15-30 minutes.
Unlocked using GSM.
Didn't install any other apps.
Didn't root.
Any solution/suggestion?
My only guess would be to try a factory reset which might solve your problems
My phone went into something close to a death loop where it would reboot toward the end of the startup phase. It seemed like it was caused by some combination of wifi and GPS because the reboot would happen shortly after the GPS system fired up. The solution for me was to delete the Tasker app data through Settings - Applications and that seemed to correct the problem. Hope this helps.
Hmmm, I am having the same problem after the 2.26.60 update.
I also use it on GSM/UMTS mode with a SIM card. The phone works perfectly well, but every three calls placed or received it will either badly distort the sound, or reboot itself. I have an original, non-rooted phone.
Factory resetting it did not help either.
Anyone know of a way of rolling back this update? It definitely did not happen before.
Thanks!

You can go back simply by flashing the 2.26.20 SBF. You'll find a link for it somewhere on the forums.
Droid flashed back to 2.26.2. Working perfectly now.
Apparently there is a bug with the latest update and using sim gsm networks. It is a shame though not being able to update the software; especially with a brand new, original, unrooted, unmodified phone.

I have 2 months old Galaxy s4. It was working fine until last night. Since last night, it automatically restarts and when it restarts it shows me 0% battery left. It started doing this when I was surfing facebook. I uninstalled facebook and it worked fine for a while. Then I tried going on whatsapp and it restarted again. Then i did the hard reset and It worked fine until I went on browser and it restarted again. Now its happening everytime I use anything on the phone.
I bought this phone from India and when I tried calling samsung support in Canada they refused to help me. Does anyone have any tips for me?
PS: When it shows me 0% battery, I removed the battery and restarted the phone and battery came back at 90%. So I dont think its battery problem.
Its even restarting now when I send text messages...driving me nuts...any sugestions??

Try removing your SIM card if you added one, and if that doesnt make anything better, then try to factory reset and flash stock firmware. If both those options fail to yield any results i think your phone might be defective.
I will try removing the sim. I have already tried factory resetting and it didnt help. What do u mean by flash stock rom?
Please pay attention to the device forum in which you seek help
There are many models of S4 and use of some software will turn your device into a $700 paperweight

I had an issue similar to this on my girlfriend's Galaxy S4 SGH-1337 AT&T 32GB. Purchased in America from Samsung.
Removing SIM card, removing SD card, removing both. Factory reset, blah blah blah - none of that worked.
What he was referring to, flashing stock ROM is using an application to force push the original software for your phone back onto your device like brand new. Sometimes this will fix defective issues in a device's software causing these malfunctions.
I did this and fixed her phone's problem completely. Try doing so by following the directions in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261573
*UPDATE: That link provides the AT&T file for flashing stock ROM. You may have to find your specific carrier and model "firmware" file. Just search the xDa forums for so. I quickly looked for a list of models/carriers firmware and didn't see them in a single list. They're available elsewhere but I support xDa and don't want to provide a link to another site.
If you don't have AT&T, make sure you find your model and carrier.
I bought it from India...brand new unlocked....which ROM should I use?
Phone is stock and not rooted.
This is extremely strange. I'm on Vodafone in the UK and I had installed the 7.0.1 update a few days ago. All was running fine.
Anyway, the Play Store issue had me confused, so instead of uninstalling updates, I decided to hard reset.
Did that and from that moment on the Sim card seems to have gone into a fit of turning itself off and on every 1-2 seconds.
I have reset a number of times and have now installed the 7.1.1 update, along with a hard reset and nothing has changed.
I have tried an EE Sim in the phone and this works fine. My voda sim I put in a Galaxy S 7 and that seemed fine too.
Yet when it is put back into my phone, it goes mad.
I only run one sim and have tried with SD Card in/out.
I am tempted to call it a faulty sim and go and get a new one, but thought I'd check here first.
Any experiences or ideas?
TIA
The plot thickens...a bit.
When I insert 2 vodafone sims, it works fine. Both sims are stable and I can make/receive calls as per normal.
As soon as I remove the one of the sims, it carries on as per usual constantly activating and deactivating sim.
Some more info...
Upon a hard reset the sim is stable and I can see data connection. I follow through the initial startup screen and skip as much as I can skip. Again, remains stable.
The last screen I get to is IZ location or something (can't remember) and asks whether you want to enable for h/w acceleration. I have tried this both on and off.
As soon as you click finish and it goes to the home screen for the first time, the sim immediately begins to fluctuate showing both signal bars empty, then one, then one with signal, then repeat.
Viewing from the dual sim settings page, you can see the sim activate, say it's vodafone, the disable as if it had been removed.
About as strange as it gets!!
Right, resolution in the hope that it helps someone else
After trying every conceivable way to sort this, it was time to downgrade.
Went back to B10 package from the German site:
http://www.ztemobile.de/support/downloads/?product_id=2100
Will install everything and upgrade to Nougat again...possibly!
Yep, just been through the exact same thing. I had to go back to b10, whatever you do don't factory reset in-between updates back to 7.1.1.
Don't do anything in fact, just upgrade.
I ended up losing my great battery life because of this, I wish I'd left alone.
Good luck.
Mike
Make sure you have OEM unlocking disabled in developer options. It was required to be on for the original sideoaded B10.

I was trying to look for discrepancies between the B10 6.0.1 and the 7.0.1 but there were too many.
I'm quite tentative about moving off MM to nougat after the shenanigans the other day.
I had a similar problem when I made the first upgrade to 7.0.
My primary (French Prixtel) SIM would turn on/off constantly - and was basically unusable... however a UK EE Sim was fine - when either run alone or in the 2nd SIM slot.
I tried my wife's Prixtel SIM in the A7 - it was fine ... tried my SIM in the wife's Honor 8 ... and it was fine ....!!
I tried downgrading back to MM B10 - my SIM still didn't work anymore - back to 7.0 .. the same.
Finally I reported my SIM to Prixtel as non-working - and they replaced it FoC ... and the new one works fine.... also after the recent upgrade to 7.1.1.

I tried multiple vodafone sims and had the same problem. Like you both Voda sims worked fine in other phones.
I would have gone the local Voda store, but they were...let's say 'challenging' to say the very least!
Good to know that other providers are affected too
You have this problem because you most likely have unlocked your bootloader. ZTE know about this problem, the only way to solve this is to go back to marshmallow, lock your bootloader then go back to the nougat build.
I have S10 bought in UK dual sim. I have two sim inserted slot one UK and slot two foreign sim. They both were working fine until recently.
For the last two weeks both have started loosing connection to network. It is for few seconds 5-10 times a day. Initially this was with foreign sim and this morning the same happened with the UK sim.
I have tried all options in sim card manager, mobile networks and to restart the phone. Still the same.
I have dropped phone twice but this was some time ago so I do not think this is related.
Anyone have experienced something similar on any suggestions how to fix it?
Many thanks

Well, I think you should perform a factory reset and if problem persist, I advise you return to the Vendor as you have warranty. So you should get it replaced.
I have the same problem.. after factory reset things are a little better..
As Im using Android Auto on a daily basis, loosing the signal was very bad - as the application crashed every time that happened.. now, after factory reset and latest version of AA, I dont have any issues. Hopefully it will stay that way or Im going to ask for new one.
I was decided to do factory reset as a last resort but I thought that maybe I will start with other options and I did the Reset network settings.
So far all good. For the last two days no single issue with loosing network connection.

Mine was doing this too. Had to send it back and get a new one. Must've been hardware.
Same here. Unlocked usa version. Tried 2 different carriers, keeps losing network for no reason. Factory reset and flashing august 1 security patch didn't help either. On T-Movile forum, users that mailed it to samsung for warranty repair had motherboard replaced and issue is now fixed.
