First things first, I'm using a VS995. I was running weta and everything was running fine, but whenever I use an AOSP based ROM, and I've tried several, I cannot get SMS and MMS to run reliably if at all. I've read through countless posts and tried everything I could think of. I've tried:
-making a call (which works for the call but not texts)
-every network type
-clean flashing (I always do this anyways)
-modifying and resetting the APN
-shaking my phone violently while gritting my teeth
-just about every combination of the above
I'm currently running the latest lineage release, which I flashed today without any mods of any kind. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Well I think I may have found a solution. I flashed desolation then called and texted myself and it worked. After an hour or so it stopped working. Then I changed the network settings to lte CDMA evdo. And texts flooded in. Been working since but I'm still hesitant to trust it. We will see how it goes.
Didn't persist after reboot. And still goes down every so often. Any ideas on how this can be fixed would be very helpful.
Man. Nothing here on this either? Third post with no help on it. Been driving me nuts for months!
I wish I could find more help with this. I have everything working with Resurrection Remix other than sending MMS. Sending and receiving SMS works and I can receive MMS just fine. I have not yet tried to use another messenger though.

Hrmmmm..... I posted a reply but it never posted. I hope it doesn't show up after this. Anyway, I have just about everything working with Resurrection Remix. I just can't send MMS. I can send and receive SMS just fine and I can receive MMS. I haven't tried another messenger yet though.
I'm running alpha rom now. I'm getting phenomenal benchmarks in 3dmark so I'm happy. Just wish I had the flexibility of aosp.

I have T-mobile and run cm nightly with franco kernel. I get most messages but sometimes I don't receive some and it's getting annoying. Also some people don't receive some of my texts. I don't know if the issue is with the phone, rom, or T-mobile. I was running cm rc5 and switched to the nightlies again but it didn't help. Most my friends have iphones so it's possible it's their phone? But they have different carriers. Really hoping there's an easy fix.
I'm going to download it tonight and test it out. Hopefully, the massive bugs were fixed and we can have OFFICIAL Cyanogenmod 12 on our devices.
I just randomly checked yesterday and noticed it was back. I'm on 03/27 right now and so far, so good.

It seemed to be. Calling, wifi, data (3g and LTE), SMS and MMS were all working for me. I opened Maps and the phone froze, so not sure if GPS is working. I flashed back to another rom though.
GPS works just fine.

CM12 Noob
Nor sure if anyone is still following this post but I installed cm12 a few days ago and the only issue I can reproduce it the Bluetooth cuts out. I can't complain, it's way faster than touchwiz and it does not crash any more frequently. One issue I have noticed is that it doesn't seem to download MMS automatically but I've only noticed it when receiving a group txt in hangouts. I can't seem to find any good discussion groups on cm here on XDA. If anyone has a suggestion, I have a Spring Galaxy S5 and am quite new to flashing as well as forums, but pretty proficient with computers. Any help would be appreciated, Thx
If CM 12 is broken i dont receive calls but can do it, It is best to install MOAR
Bluetooth does not work , the messages are closed every 5 minutes
Need working Sprint Visual Voicemail apk for Galaxy S5 running Fusion Rom
I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong area. I have been running the Fusion Rom on my Sprint Galaxy s5. I love it, but cannot get any voicemails! Have tried a few apks, but no luck. Any info and/or download links would be very much appreciated!!

I just tried the 8/8 build. So far, pretty stable. I did try the full device encryption and it basically borked the installation. I got it to come back by clearing cache a few times (why a few times and not just once? Who knows.) but it was increasingly unstable at that point (random crashes, random boot freezes). I wiped and reinstalled and it's back to stable, so it's definitely the encryption. Going to mess with bluetooth today to see if that's been resolved yet.
Bluetooth still completely doesn't work. I can't even get it to connect. Not quite ready for prime time I guess.
So at this point, not worth trying? no BT? How's the camera?
TN 12.1 latest build
I have been running the 9/26/15 build for three days and am experiencing the worst battery drain since the day this phone came to market.
I am wondering if this is a TN problem or the latest lollipop aosp issue as a whole?
Thanks
im using Team Nocturnal vm_kltespr-userdebug 5.1.1 lvy48f0333148f75 test keys build date 9/13/2015 and I adjusted the i/o-scheduler and have stopped charging my phone over night... it lasts all day with tons of emails and some multimedia a few dozen phone calls and 150 texts and all night and I charge it in the car between work and home... approx 45 min... good to go.... the only thing that doesnt work is the fingerprint scanner... everything else is fine... it does have trouble switching data back to mobile off of wifi, but, nice smooth and fast...

What i/o settings are you using?

So i've tried pretty much every ROM out and wanted to post my findings with Call reception, data issues, APNs, etc and see if anyone else on Sprint has workarounds or advice on how to fix issues. On some ROMs i can get data but can't get calls/texts. On others i can get voice and data and hear people fine while on calls, but they tell me i'm breaking up constantly.
ROMs with voice and data, but poor voice delivery while on calls:
Resurrection Remix
AOKP
Turbo ROM
Temasek(i think...been awhile since i've flashed and can't remember)
Roms with data(sometimes) but cant make calls/texts:
PureNexus
DirtyUnicorn
ROMs with working data and good call quality:
AICP
Mokee
TruPureX(yes, i know it's not a custom ROM just putting it here because there are no issues with call reception or data on Sprint)
I believe if we were able to manually set APNs for some of these ROMs we could possibly correct this issue but for some reason the majority of ROMs i've flashed say "APN settings are not available for this user". Does anyone know a workaround for this issue? Please post other ROMs that i haven't commented on or other findings/workarounds
I know this is a long shot since this is an old post, but I was curious if you ever found anything on this? I had gone through a bunch of the ROMs mentioned and had the same experience. The only ROM I have had success with and has been almost flawless is Turbo. Yet I have the calling issue where everyone says I'm choppy and cut out so I am having to switch again. Everything else except TruePure I have had data issues with. LTE seems to drop and then I have nothing, it's almost like it can't hand off to 3g. Then I have no signal at all.
I'd go with the stock ROM, but that just has some horrible lag when operating. If I could pull whatever make Turbo work over to another ROM that would be great, but I've never set anything like that up.
Can it be a problem if you are using a XT1572 or XT1575? Maybe you need to be ROM specific when it comes to your device model.
This is the most annoying problem. At this point most roms I try have everything but 4g.
Just want to make sure before I dig to deep trying to fix this.
Mic doesnt work with newest update for Wear24 watch correct?
Havent found a clear answer. If there is a workaround please point in right direction.
Yes, you do lose mic access, and anecdotally I believe the speaker gets worse as well. I got another watch that started on 2.0 that we ended up returning, but my current watch has been sitting on v1.5 for the past few days. After disabling the sim, I get great battery life, can make and receive calls on the watch (and am able to understand whom I am talking with), and all of the features of android 1.5 work great.
The only issues I am experiencing currently are an error asking me to try again on phone when ok google texting someone (text still goes through fine) and the persistent update notification to android 2.0.
I get 2-3 days of battery life currently, with always on, ok google active, and motion detection.
GPS, cellular, wifi turned off, sim disabled.
So you have no access to mic at all? Ok Google, reply to text, etc... I just got mine today and got everything working, not using it in VZW though. Disabled VZW sim and data already. Only thing not working is apparently they can't hear me in a phone call via watch. I hear them though the watch just fine. I'd like to get that figured out as it's the last thing to make it useful. The watch was a great deal for $50 shipped brand new!

Hello,
I've just wanted to know who already tried to install Lineage 17.1 on bardock(pro)?
I'm still on Lineage 16 and a little bit afraid to change in such early state.
What are you experience?
Especially with TWRP an Lineage 17.1?
Let me know...

I installed yesterday on regular Aquaris X and it couldn't detect the SIM card. It was actually the first time I installed LOS or any custom ROM on this phone (I've done it on other phones) so I was afraid I did something wrong, but I just installed 16 and it works fine. So... avoid for now I guess

But unfortunately I do not speak Spanish and the google translator does not work very well.
So if anybody of you got experience with LOS 17.1 and Aquaris X (Pro) please share your experience.

I went in there to ask about my problem, people with Pro are saying it is working fine.
Can't get any feedback on regular Aquaris X though...

For me it works good so far, everything except the HW-Overlay. I have to disable it to prevent severe screen tearing in 3D apps.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to contact the developer Quallenauge to report this issue.
I've just flashed
lineage-17.1-20200620-nightly-bardockpro-signed.zip
[Magisk, no GAPPS]
Here are some bugs I've found:
- LTE+ is not working anymore
- Some translation is still missing
I will keep you up with informations. But so far its working good.
Media sound output through the speaker fails from time to time and a reboot fixes it. SafetyNet fails (CTS profile). Beside that, quite stable at the moment.

- LTE+ is working for me.
- I have also not experienced issues with GPS and inactive screen.
And if someone want to contact the developers directly, send me a pm for a link or search for "aquaris-dev". (I have not the post count to link them directly here! ^^)

It seems that my phone got some problem.
Maybe its about Afwall or the firmware.
I've just flashed: lineage-17.1-20201024-nightly-bardockpro-signed.zip
And now the phone randomly reboot.
And when I'm calling someone with the german carrier O2 after 5-10 minutes, the call is terminated and all connections get lost for one second.
Then everything comes back again.

Hi,
yep, I faced exactly the same:
I have flashed the same ZIP and my phone started to reboot randomly.
I hope it is a bug in the build, I'll try one of the recent builds. Lets see and hope.
Hi, I've got the same problem with interruption of phone calls after 5-20 minutes with Vodafone an Telekom as well. The connection is lost for one second on SIM 1 and tested also on SIM 2. The problem exists since about 3-4 months. I' ve updated Lineage 17.1 almost every weekend, but the problem still exists. I reported the bug already 2 weeks ago on GitLab, but no one of the developers read the report so far ... The phone also reboots randomly, mainly while using internet functions as mentioned in the previous post. The phone is still great, so I hope those things will be fixed.
I have re-installed it using lineage-17.1-20201114-nightly-bardockpro-signed.
No reboot loop anymore.
Updated to a newer build, still ok.

Hey!
No,the problem is still present.
It's totaly random.
Sometimes it appears after 1 min., sometimes after 20 min.
Maybe some problem with the old baseband firmware ? I don't know.

Hi, my phone calls get interrupted randomly as well. Running 17.1-20201219-NIGHTLY-bardockpro. I read @danemyte 's gitlab issue. I don't know if my contacts put down the receiver too quickly but mine didn't seem to try and re-establish the connection after a moment. All I could do was redial. It happens in about every phone call, it happened 3 times in a 45 minutes call.
All the rest works well without any issues and I am still really happy with the phone so I also hope it will be fixed. Can I provide any helpful information? My log looks quite cluttered with information. Do you apply any filters before posting logs?

Hi, I also have to redial the contact after the connection interrupts. I also don't know how to filter the log. I wished someone one Gitlab would read the issue and could work on it. I'm also happy with the phone. Anyway, from time to time it reboots randomly, but it's getting better after every update.
Dear All, I send an Email with an request to solve the problem to some developers/reviewers directly per mail, which are named here: https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_lineage-sdk/+/298359/
