So I've been trying to install the TWRP on this device but the OEM Unlock kept on blocking it. the OEM unlock is "On". There's no option to turn it off in developer options because it is a Demo unit but it is an Exynos one. I've been searching on how, but the internet only shows the released variants not the demo unit... i want to change the phone to G950FD so that I can use it as a normal phone but without a sim.

Hi! How to unlock OEM, if the phone does not turn on?
___
When the official firmware, the error "device has not DRK, to establish the first DRK"
I have the same problem. I can access android recovery but FRP lock is on and I can't boot to the OS to unlock OEM.
you need to use smart switch emergency to restore your phone to working condition using the rom meant for your device.
You will need to device model and serial number for this to work.
You do not need to worry about the drivers as this is a stand alone function.
Then activate the developer option.
Turn OEM unlock on.
Then try flashing the ROM or Custom ROM you want.
Is it possible to do root to s8 G950X? (Live demo unit) there is no option to unlock OEM, only USB debugging.
Received a s8 gift, but it is a live demo, this version brings a samsung retail mode app, which can only be removed by doing root or changing the rom, but when entering the developer options, Not available to unlock OEM.
I seen the recommendation is to turn USB debugging and OEM lock off under developer options to play fortnite on our device with magisk. What I was wondering is with my bootloader unlocked, which it is, I can uncheck OEM lock, but would it be okay after a reboot? I just didn't want to uncheck it, and then get stuck or not be able to boot. I was curious if someone might have tried already. Thx
By the way for anyone wanting to know, I turned OEM unlock off w/ a unlocked bootloader & device successfully booted up with switch still in off position.
I bought a used Galaxy Tab S5e model SM-T725 and am trying to enable the OEM unlock option, but no matter what I try it just doesn't show up in the developer options. I followed several guides on how to make the option available but none have succeeded.
Does anyone have an idea on how to get it to show up?
The tablet is running Android 11.
I have the option in developer mode enable to allow bootloader unlocking, when I type 'fastboot oem unlock' I get a screen asking me if I want to unlock the bootloader but when I select yes, nothing happens. I tried using the official site (https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b) but it says my device is not available to be unlocked even though I have the option enabled.
Can anyone help me?
Motorola doesn't allow carrier varients to have unlocked bootloaders, so you need to find another way. I have the same model and I can't figure out how to unlock the bootloader
