This is not my work. I take no credit for this little hack. Though it is from the Razr HD forum, this does work on the Razr M.
For those of us who have an unlocked bootloader, every time we reboot, we have to see the warning from Motorola about the "dangers" of having an unlocked bootloader. Thanks to user @Orphee, we can replace that warning and change it back to the stock Motorola logo. I will post the steps here, but for reference, here is the thread. I have also included the .rar file here in this new post, located at the bottom.
Here is the solution to restore M logo :
Extract the file in attachement in the same folder as fastboot, you will find "logo.bin" file.
Enter in Fastboot mode :
- Shutdown your phone
- Push and maintain VOL DOWN and press POWER to boot your phone (A black screen with white lines should appear)
- Plug USB Cable
Flash the M Logo with fastboot :
- fastboot flash logo logo.bin (success message should appears in the DOS windows)
- Unplug USB cable
- Press POWER and the phone will shutdown
- Start your phone with long press on POWER and check your M Logo.

Theres a thread with a solution, but it has a filesonic link
Please help.
Also I hate XDA's rules, it makes it hard for me especially during emergencies
I have to wait 5 minutes and I can't post in the developers section.
Are you trying to reboot into the Operating System or reboot into recovery (CWM recovery)?
To reboot device, press volume up plus power--hold it until you see the dual core screen...with luck, it will proceed to boot up the device.
However, if you are trying to reboot into CWM recovery, after rebooting (vol up and power, wait a couple of seconds from when you first see dual core screen and press volume down. You should see starting android recovery in upper left... then press volume up and power to choose it. If you want fastboot, dont wait 2 seconds, just hit volume down, and you should see starting fastboot protocol.
Hey, I know it isn't in English but may help you!

You download you're retail rom in motodev website: http://goo.gl/sQ0Qb
(On the video I download the Brazilian Rom, but download your version!)
Force fastboot mode in you're Xoom holding "volume up" + "power" button and after 3 seconds after reboot press "volume up" to enter in fastboot mode.
;D
Bricked?
I'm pretty sure that the screen lighting up and displaying the company logo is the definition of not bricked. Probably the Volume + Power thing will work, I've had to do that a few times.
Yes thank you m1ch4el.
Now I know there's a way out if I get bricked again, exactly what I was looking for. Now to continue experimenting XD
Which Version is you Xoom and from the sounds of it your xoom is not bricked, if you are able to get into RSD mode on your Xoom you can flash your stock images from MOTO DEVS WEBSITE! Make sure
1. you have newest update and drivers from motorolas website
2. find RSD version 4.2 or later and install it onto your computer
3. find the right file of your stock image hint (its ends with a sbf file)
4. once flash is done restart and BAMO you shouldnt be bricked anymore

Yes.
You still can go to fastboot by force turn-off.
When the USB logo appears, hold the power button, the phone will power off.
Then, hold the volume key, AND THEN, hold the power key too. When the screen turns on, release power key and keep holding volume up until you see fastboot.
To use your recovery, you must unlock your bootloader.
You can go back to your system by using the REBOOT fastboot option.
I tried but it just show the USB logo and suddently reboot... I made a video, its uploading, I will post here when its done.
Sorry my bad english:

Hi people,
I have a Motorola Defy plus (MB526) lying around. Because it is such a nice phone, I'd like to use it as second/backup/emergency device, but my last attempts to install a not-completely-outdated OS failed miserabely.
Now, the phone is in the following state:
- Power button does nothing, vol down + power also nothing.
- When plugged in, white LED is on, but battery apparently does not charge.
- Vol up + power gets me into a bootloader screen, but I have a "battery low" error message.
- By destroying a USB cable I was able to manually connect 5V to the battery when inside the phone, so I now get: Battery OK, OK to program, transfer mode USB.
Also, when now booting, the Motorola sign appears for a few seconds and the phone gets stuck in the boot animation of an old CM version that I previously tried to install.
Does somebody know how to proceed from here to flash any functioning ROM? Or to flash TWRP or CWM?
Can I somehow access the phone in this state using adb? Could fastboot flash recovery work (at the moment, I only get <waiting for device>) after getvar all?
I would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot,
Jay

Flash the correct SBF using RSD Lite or sbf_flash to your Defy+ MB526 which would be using CG version 5, 6 or 7. I recommend flashing a lower CG SBF such as DHT-22 SBF. Then wipe data/factory reset in Motorola Stock Recovery by pressing Vol Down and Power Button simultaneously. If you get a black screen then flash a higher CG SBF. Read this Defy AIO guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216982
I bricked my XT907 and it won't boot. When I power it on, it goes to the red Motorola logo and after about 10 seconds or so, it disappears like it usually would, but nothing happens. I managed to figure out how to boot into one of the recovery modes...Yes there are two: The alleged universal Droid Master reset and Motorola's...or Verizon's?
Method one: I boot into the recovery screen (NOT the Droid one) by pressing and holdiung FIRST, volume up, then volume down and power. I hold all three for a few seconds and the Motorola logo comes up. I then release the power button and up comes the recovery screen which gives me the options I need to reset. I scroll to reset and press power (enter) and nothing happens. I then press volume up, according to Verizon's site and it just boots back to the red Motorola logo. I try this again and I can't select anything from the menu.
Method two: I do the same above steps until I get to the same recovery screen. I press volume up again and back to Motorola logo. Press and hold volume up and power until it boots to the Droid screen with an '!'. I AM able to select options. So I select factory reset, it goes through the steps and back to the menu. No errors. I select reboot and it does it's thing, the Motorola logo pops up then 10 seconds, disappears and again nothing.
Method three: Volume up and hold power. Screen goes to fastboot mode. I plug it into the PC and enter ADB terminal...
fastboot devices
Device and serial listed
fastboot erase userdata
Bootloader repeats itself 3 or 4 times and tells me the action isn't allowed. Then to test my patience even more, i goes through the steps of erasing the device, and tells me it's completed its task even though it really hasn't.
At this point I am pretty sure there's no recovering from this. Any advice, besides telling me to get a new phone?

From what I understand, the bootloader is locked and cannot be unlocked (So long as Motorola and or Verizon hold the codes and or files hostage). So I can't flash anything unless the files I'm attempting to flash, are officially signed by Motorola.
Nonetheless, I will look at it when I get home from work and give it a shot. About the only thing I've been able to do is wipe the data through the Droid with the '!', allegedly. I'm not even sure that worked. If it did, it's been wiped twice. I guess the positive part if there is one; I have been able to keep it booted and powered on in fastboot, only connected via USB though.

Yes. It does...well did. It took me a few tries to get it into fastboot. Hooked it up to USB as soon as the screen came on. I missed I step or two the first time I tried to flash it. When it got past step 10 during the process, I was excited. Worked perfectly. Thank you so much. As old as this one is, it's been my favorite to tweak and 'hack.' thanks very much for your help :highfive:
I know. It's dumb. I didn't read all those walls of text and now I'm paying for it. Is there anything I can do or is the phone gone for good? I tried to boot into bootloader by holding down the volume and connecting the usb cable but it just goes into a black screen with a green led instead of the usual blue led that would pop up when being in bootloader. Right now it's just stuck in loading screen with the logo and it won't even shut down
Hey i accidentally flash wrong twrp on my f3311. it's pretty easy to fix it.
1. Download flashtool (flashtool .net)
2. Find the stock rom for your phone.
3. Start flash tool and press the flash button and choose flashmode.
4. choose the rom file and the settings you want.
5. click on flash and it will guide you how to get into flashmode
I hope i explained so you can understand, my English is trash and i dont remember exactly how to do it. And here is a video how to do it. watch?v=q7zDA94gqdc
