How to fix my Galaxy J5 SM-J510GN No OS installed? - Samsung Galaxy J5 Questions & Answers

Hello.. help me.. I accidenttaly wiped all my data from TWRP.. When I want to reboot my system it says NO OS INSTALLED.. then I stuck at the TWRP recovery.. I tried to installed new original rom using Odin but always FAIL.. Please help me to fix this issue.. I read about hundreds forum on how to fix NO OS INSTALLED issue but it doesn't help me at all.. How to installed the original j5 SM-J510GN ROM without using Odin?

The only thing that you can do if you dont wanna use odin is downloading a custom ROM, connect phone to PC and paste ROM to SD or Internal Storage and flash it.
Press thanks button if I helped !

Downlod samsung usb drivers & odin tool in your windows pc & Flash N910H official stock firmware
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N910H/
After flash firmware in odin make sure you do wipe cache & factory reset from recovery your model will be reverse back to N910H again.

Hi Trex888, thanks for your answer,
I already tried this solution, but I cant flash stock via Odin. I assume the phone is checking if the stock rom is n910c, and it gives me an error.
Do you want me to post the error?
Thanks!

No need to post twice.
I heard that you cannot downgrade android due to not allowed downgrade of bootloader (aboot.mbn). So stupid dude.
Hello i have the same problem. But until now i cannot downgrade to 5.1.1 via original firmware but i can install cm 12.1 and others. Via editing the kernel of said rom make it the same with the 6.0.1 bootloader.

Its a little bit long, but I will post it ASAP

Here is HOW I SOLVED IT:
This error happens when you before have updated from "U1" to "U2" and then you try to flash a firmware with "U1" (UX appears in the firmware "name")
So, the simple solution is to flash the stock firmware with the same "UX" that you had before your device gor bricked.
In my case, testing KingRaheel's ROMS I flashed an Indian firmware (...U2APK6...) at this moment I didn't know I ****ed up. But don't worry, I simply had updated the "U" and how I didn't know it, I tried to flash lots and lots of firmwares with "U1" without knowing what was happening. After long nights, I tried to flash my last firmware from SPAIN (PHE) with "U2" and it worked.
I hope I helped you. I used SM-J510FN (J5 2016)
If you have another device, try the same but with your current model, any questions, ask by twitter/dm

You have flashed the APK6 firmware which is a revision 2 firmware.
The firmware you are trying to flash is revision 1.
You can't downgrade revisions. It worked before because your device still had revision 1 firmware installed.

This is update APL4 for region PHE.

Are these custom roms flashed with twrp?
If so you should be fine as these don't contain the bootloader.
It looks like the revision 2 bootloader is backwards compatible with earlier revision 1 firmware.

Extract the NON-HLOS.bin from the firmware and repack it to tar format then flash with odin after flashing the custom rom.
That usually cures loss of wifi.
Otherwise you will need to remove aboot from the firmware before flashing with odin.
Neither of the above will guarantee that wifi will work as the bootloader will decide if it will allow the firmware to be mismatched.

SOLVED, SAME PROBLEM? CONTACT ME
Here is HOW I SOLVED IT:
Sent from my SM-J510FN using XDA Labs

Help me with this firmware :SM-J530FZSDROM

So i fixed the bootloop with Odin (installing a J5 firmware of course not for my country cuz i am too dumb (facepalm) ) and i searched on my box and it says that this is my firmware SM-J530FZSDROM but i can't find it anywhere...
Who can help me get it ?
Thanks
(Btw. I have a system *only system partition* backuped in my sd card i tried restoring it but it was the boot loop again.. it has 2 gigas idk..)
Ps:forget the system backup i just want the entire firmware xd
What device do you have? J500 J510? Are you trying to go back to stock? And did you also enable OEM Unlock from developer settings? This will cause it to fail at aboot.bin if you haven't.

He has a J530 and if you read his post you would notice that he already flashed something over odin, so he has his OEM unlock ticked.

Well seeing as though he hadn't specified the device he was using I thought it would be a good suggestion to check he was flashing the correct firmware in the first place, I've got a different country for installed on my J510FN and do t have any bootloops.
BUT yes I do know that device names are inside the firmware name.

He had specified his device when he specified the firmware filename. Mine J510FN has a different country baseband and its working fine.
J5 2017 SM-J530F is my phone
My original firmware was SM-J530FZSDROM but i flashed with Odin the firmware SM-J530FXXU1AQF5 , i think its from Romania and yes the sim is working so that's the important thing i think.
But i still want the original firmware ...
Questions: Can i repair Knox?
With what to root safetly (to work with snapchat) ?
Thanks guys!
One more thing
And guys when i installed the TWRP with Odin , it was showing this errors : E: Error Grab/Realase and 2 numbers idk
I installed magisk partially with it because it wasn't working with Freedom (Please allow acces to system partition this was the error i got in Freedom) . After that before i got the bootloop i tryed installing magisk again from twrp and i got stucked in bootloop . Who could help me install root and twrp succesfuly ? Thanks.
The first question remains active: Who could search the firmware and give it to my i would owe him.

You can't repair knox after it was tripped.
If you want your root to work with snapchat root with magisk or superSU with xposed modules for hideing root
Can you give me a link of supersu like installing without twrp , thanks. For SM-J530F
