I have a nexus 7 2012, is there any ROM that supports the download function from Netflix?
And I don't want to update to stock android 5 because it made my nexus 7 very slow.
I think you're SOL. The version of Netflix that allows downloading also requires LP as a minimum version.

Can anyone who already has one, install flash and report if it works?
i do not have a Nexus 7 but i have a Galaxy Nexus which i installed the I/O version of jelly bean on.
I can confirm that Flash worked perfectly with Firefox (chrome does not support it) and the stock browser (one rom included that).
i tested with amazon prime instant video and youtube.

Yes, you can install Adobe Flash & Air. I've installed both on my device
Questions go in the Q&A section
but make sure you've got it installed by mid-august cause adobe are removing it from the store.

Well let's hope that HTML5 gets more support soon :banghead:
Alternate download source for Flash install files
After mid-August, you may still be able to find Android Flash at the Adobe web site. I'm too new to be allowed to post links here but I found the apk version at the Adobe web site look for the page titled Flash Player Help Archived Flash Player versions.

My nexus 7 is still on pre-order. But I did test the stock browser of my phone running android 2.3.7 for HTML5 from this link:
http://html5test.com/
Looks like HTML5 is not fully supported on the browser I'm using
Can someone that already has the device test this and share the results?
The problem relates to another device, but is associated with the Nexus 7 2012 - that's why I would like to ask this question here. Of course I was looking at other forums, but found nothing.
Nexus 7 WiFi (version 2012) has a very similar hardware configuration to the Galaxy Galapad G1 (http://en.galapad.net/product.html) or Nabi 2. Both devices (G1 & N7) have a Tegra 3, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, 8 or 16GB FLASH, GPS... They differ in screen resolution and probably something else. My Galapad has unlocked bootloader, kernel version is 3.1.10, I have access to fastboot, but can't install any TWRP or CWM.
I wonder if it is possible to use ROM from Nexus on Galapad G1? The latest version of Android for Galapad is old 4.1, the Nexus has version 4.3... So is it possible to port (or just install) this version to G1?
Thanks for any help and sorry for this thread.
I have rooted mojo with the stock firm ware. I am trying to install Kodi 17.0 "Krypton". But it always give me the error. I downloaded the apk and try to install through ES Explore. They give me error message package not compatible. Please some one help me.
Why are you on stock firmware anyway?
Version 17 requires android 5.0 minimum. Why do you want 17 anyway?
Yes, stock MOJO is on 4.2.2 isn't it? You'd need to flash your device to CM 12.1 at this point to get Krypton. But of course, that will change again further down the road with future releases no doubt.
Maybe consider a Raspberry Pi 3 for Kodi if the latest is important to you. Otherwise I think Android generally is a bit of a pain with OS updates, and this will be an issue at some point.

I have been using the MOJO for a year (rooted W/stock and REMIX SO) Kodi 17 is not supported on Android 4.2 which is the stock MOJO rom. I was able to install Kodi once the box was moded to CM12 (android 5.x) or Remix OS.
Sony released remote play for all Android phones this week with compatibility from Android 5.0 onward but it's recommend to have Android 10 to use a DS4 due to better compatibility drivers. Is there any chance you could rip the drivers from the OnePlus 7 or 7 pro on OOS 10 put them in a zip and flash them through TWRP or magisk?
I think you just need to wait since the official update is coming this month of October.

Not to argue specifics but the beta comes out this month and the full release is next month. But I understand your point. I still want to know if it's possible to do it though.
Drivers are in the kernel in Linux based systems. You can't just 'rip' the drivers. You have to find a kernel Dev willing to work this with a soon deprecated Android version... with yet unpublished oos kernel sources, only AOSP ones. Not easy
That's why it will be more easy to wait beta / official OOS. Or perhaps be ready to try one of the Android 10 ROMs floating around there

Understandable thanks for the answer, I thought it was more like the adreno drivers that you could update through TWRP or magisk I forget which one I just remember doing it on my V20.
I have a G950U running a rooted Android 7 ROM, because there are no roots for newer versions of Android.
With Android 8, bluetooth codec support increased and you could easily select which one to use in the developer options.
With that said, is it possible to "hack in" similar codec support for Android 7 via something like a flashable zip? I don't want to be limited to SBC.
