Is possible play music format M4A with hardware rendering? - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Questions & Answers

My phone is now running with custom rom ResurrectionRemix Nougat 7.1.2 latest build.
But if i play music with m4a format, it won't play with hardware rendering.
Except with MX Player software rendering.
Is possible playing music format m4a without software rendering or without MX Player?
Thanks

[Q] Video player

I'm on Quarx 2ndBoot build and looking for a good video player, which can play the videos recorded by the default camera app.
BSPlayer can't play them any more, maybe the compression have changed in the videos?
Hi,
I usually use MX player, it supposed to use NEON but I never had the luck. But there are many video players you can use like Mobo Video player , VLC etc.
Install MX and Mobo both and basically you'll play everything

Ogg Vorbis not working?

I'm running AOSP Extended with the blu_spark kernel. After getting everything set up I tried to play some music with Music Folder Player and it wouldn't play. I encode my FLAC library to Vorbis for my phone and apparently my phone is incapable of playing the files, which was never an issue with my 6P or Galaxy S4. I will note that VLC can play the files (probably has its own decoder instead of using the phone's) but I find VLC to be a poor music player. What I'm curious about is if this would be an issue related to the ROM or the kernel.

Micro stuttering while playing x265 videos

Oos version: oreo open beta 3
I'm trying to play a x265 mkv video but there is random micro stutters everywhere.
I've tried mx player, xplayer and vlc. Vlc works best but some minor stuttering is still there.Any solutions?
Have you tried to use the HW+ converter on MX Player?
The fact that you are using a beta software, I would flash the a rom with stock 5.0.1 and stock kernel to test. It could be a bad rom+kernel combo.
Also test with other x265 MKV videos as well (as in from a different source entirely).
