Hi all, sorry for my bad english
my huawei P8 lite 2017 (PRA-LX1) does not turn on, stay always in infiniteboot/bootfreeze status.
what could i do to fix it?
i try the microSD "dload" method, but nothing happens (no error, no message, only infinite boot)
and i'm not able to unlock the bootloader.
the result of "fastboot oem unlock (my unlock code)" command is:
FAILED (remote: command not allowed)
it may because I can not enable the debug USB option?
Code from Huawei site? To unlock bootloader
yes, from emui.huawei.com
In the website i use:
Before EMUI5.0
Smartphone
Product Model: HUAWEI Y300-0000
Product Serial Number: (S/N code from the smartphone box)
Product IMEI / MEID: (IMEI code from the smartphone box)
Product ID: With "Huawei Product ID Generator" tool. Because my smartphone don't turn on.

Can you enter fastboot or recovery mode?
Disconnect smartphone from PC
Switch off smartphone, press and hold vol up. Now press and hold power on. As soon as the phone vibrates, the screen shows bootlogo leave power on but still press vol up.
After recovery mode or fastboot mode is enabled reconnect to PC
Do you have an alternative recovery like TWRP installed?
Do you have a connection an do you get a response in either "fastboot devices" oder "adb devices"?

I can enter in fastboot mode, only with the phone connected to the pc.
Do you have an alternative recovery like TWRP installed?
No, full stock
Do you have a connection an do you get a response in either "fastboot devices" oder "adb devices"?
with fastboot command yes.
with adb command no.
thank you.
When you are in fastboot mode and connected to your computer, type "fastboot devices"
What is the result? I should be a 8 digit number. it can be a ? "(question mark) as well.
I had that on an huawei device, that was a total loss.
Not sure if the usb debug is your problem, maybe your code is incorrect.

Hello members,
I have an old Asus Zenpad 10 Z300C that entered in a boot loop a few days ago.
I'm trying to boot in recovery mode so I can do a factory reset on it but I can't...
The procedures should be like these:
1. Power off your phone.
2. Once the device is off, press and hold the Volume Down + Power button together for a few seconds.
3. Release the keys as soon as you see the Asus logo and wait for few seconds.
4. Now, your phone should boot into Recovery Mode.
The only I can do is to boot in fastboot mode by pressing Volume Up + Power button.
Can anyone give me some tip about what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

I have also tried to install "intel flash tool" (because this model has an atom cpu) and tried to flash the costom ROM for this model but then i get an error when the software was trying to get the serial number of the tablet...
Does anyone knows what can be the problem?

Hi, i don't succeed at the first try to install adb driver manually.
You must find Asus adb driver in the thread and force manual instal ( manually update adb in Windows paramèters or desinstall et manually install).
I succeed with fastboot command After install manually the specific Asus driver.
I tried Many times before and think it was not possible.

Hi,
This morning I wanted to factory reset the phone and flash the latest version, but to my surprise I do not have the Download mode anymore, but I have the standard fastboot screen, wtf ?
EDIT : using "adb reboot download" worked. "adb reboot bootloader" goes fastboot and "adb reboot fastboot" goes into a reboot.

It all changed during an update tbh. One day I could adb reboot bootloader, and land on the download mode, and now I just get fastboot.

Mate clearly you not doing it properly. Ensure you phone is powered off then plug the USB-C into to it. Next, with the volume button depressed plug the said other end of the cable into a laptop/PC. The phone should then power up with a blue screen, press the volume up.

I gathered a whole bunch of information on this and decided first I needed to unlock the boot loader, maybe get fast-boot to work? (which is removed?) and install a custom recovery first. For this I was using the Axon7Toolkit-v1.2.1.
Thing is I tried to flash the recovery with the Axon7Tool and now I am stuck on this green ZTE logo loading screen, the device is already formatted.
https://github.com/bennykor/Axon7Toolkit/releases
I have previously installed ROM's on other phone's but not sure what is going on with this one?
I can't really seem to get it to boot up into anything else or connect it to ADB to see what is going on and it is also not detected anymore by the tool. Not much of what I have previously done seems to work on this thing...
Can you get into the bootloader?
Turn phone off, hold 'vol +' and 'vol -' and 'power' buttons, once phone turns on release 'power' button.

Hey yeah that did work actually, althought when I selected the recovery mode option it restarted to the logo again and I have to wait until the battery drains now because I can't seem to turn it off.
EDIT - Doesn't seem to detect it in adb though, not sure where to go from here.
oops -delete-?
Bootloader/download modes are not related to adb, you need to use 'fastboot' tool instead of 'adb' tool.
Did you try to boot into bootloader and then run an RUU from a pc while the phone is connected via cable?

Thing is I read use fasboot clear cache but this also yields the same error.
fastboot doesn't work in bootloader for flashing, you need to boot into download mode and then use fastboot commands to flash partitions.
Flashing usually fails the 1st time so just run the same command again and it will go through (it prompts you that on the screen).

Ok but but the only two options I appear to have left here is to hold "volume up/down power" for fastboot mode or go into FFBM mode? (Also gives some message about devices cannot be checked for corruption when bootloader is not unlocked)
Do i need to go into download mode from android?

Because I doesn't appear to be working for me with this button combination.
So I can't really get any of this fastboot flashing to work it keeps either giving the error "To many links" or "FAILED (Write to device failed (Unknown error))" ?

So, I'm trying to use the MSM Tool trick to oem unlock my phone from another thread, and I can't seem to keep my phone in EDL Mode. I have the Qualcomm drivers properly installed--when I get it to go into EDL mode, my device manager properly recognizes it as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008," but it only seems to want to stay in EDL mode for a few seconds, then it boots back up. I've tried doing this through adb and by holding volume + and - and plugging in the cord--both methods, same result. Anyone have any suggestions? I greatly appreciate your feedback!
I always power off my phone. Then hold both volume buttons down and plug it in. MSM tool sees my phone and hit start.
which Qualcomm drivers you installed ? because my phone is not connecting with MSM tools ....
I'm having the same issues. Anyone find a fix?

Which TWRP?? Did you load it via Fastboot and use Fastboot commands? Are you A11? Which Qualcomm drivers?
I basically forget that , but search about it . And install TWRP in your phone

I think it's supposed to only last for a few seconds. Pull up the MSM Tool and pay attention to the "Status of Connection" field for any of the COM lines in the MSM Tool. When you connect, it should say "Connected" for one of those lines. If that happens at all, then you're good to proceed. Make sure you have TMO selected in the drop-down, click "Enum" once you plug in your device, then click Start. Try to do this quickly. Let me know if this helps.
I am having the same problem with my 7T Pro McLaren, the pc recognizes it but msm tool does not, someone has already found the way

I had the same issue. One easy fix is switching from a USB 3.0 port to USB 2.0 port. The other method that worked for me is a little more of a process.
1) Have MSM open
2) Connect phone to PC
3) Power phone off
4) Then, the moment it powers down, hold the vol +, -, & power button
5) Keep holding it. Your PC will make a sound notifying you that it's detected the phone, but you want to keep
holding the buttons until you hear it being detected for the second time.
6) Release buttons.
Hopefully that makes it stay in EDL mode for you.
I wrote on this somewhere, but you can try having the program open and placed at the right settings, then move quickly once the phone is in EDL mode. Not ideal but worked for me. Once the process begins it won't exit out of EDL mode in my experience.
hii, from most tutorial i have seen so far, the com number is show in the msm tool upon starting the program, most the two msm tools i have tried so far dont show com number... and its not detecting my phone.
Hello, I have moderate experience as an Android developer but I don't know much about ZTE or custom ROMs.
Today my cell phone died and for a temporary replacement I walked into an iffy local cell repair store and asked them for the cheapest Android phone they had. They gave me a preowned Z3352CA which I think is a "ZTE Blade A3 L". It is running Android 9 Build number Z3352CAV1.0.B03 ("Android Go"). It's pretty nice. However I have a sense buying a preowned Android is probably about as safe as sticking your hand in a garbage disposal. I did a factory reset first thing, but I would like to be reasonably certain the thing the factory reset installed was a legitimate ZTE OS with no extra presents from the previous owner like spyware*.
I found an iffy article describing Blade bootloader unlock procedures, with this screenshot:
View attachment 5418861
"Device tampered" caught my eye. Some discussions I see online about fastboot reference this "device tampered" flag. I am interested in this. If I had to guess, I'd guess this flag is supposed to go true if the device is unlocked and stay true even if the device is re-locked. I would like to check this flag. (To be clear, right now I *don't want* the bootloader unlocked. What I want is to be sure nobody before me has ever unlocked the bootloader.)
From here I attempted to put the phone into Fastboot Mode. I can't tell if this worked or not.
I started up with the "volume up" and power buttons held, which dropped me into "Recovery Mode". It said "Android Recovery" at the top and offered a menu of options, one was "Reboot to Bootloader". I selected this and was sent to a black screen with "=> FASTBOOT mode..." in the bottom left corner in a terminal font. Nothing happens at this screen. The up and down volume buttons, and the power button, do nothing (I can boot the phone normally by holding the power button down 3 seconds). I can't tell if this is fastboot mode or not. If I run fastboot.exe devices on my Windows 10 machine, it is not able to see or connect to the phone in "=> FASTBOOT mode..." mode. (I have the normal Windows Android drivers installed for running adb but have not installed the ZTE specific drivers.)
I dropped the phone into Developer Mode and looked in Developer Options. I saw an "OEM unlocking" checkbox, which is unchecked. I thought: Maybe this will let me talk to fastboot. But if I tap it, it says:
Allow OEM unlocking?
Warning: Device protection features will not work on this device while this setting is turned on.
I tapped "cancel" because at this point it occurred to me this switch, by itself, might qualify as "tampering".
(Other things I tried: I ran the app "SafetyNet Test" from Google Play and it said I passed. I enabled USB debugging and was able to connect to the device with adb. I tried "adb.exe reboot bootloader" but it just took me back to the "=> FASTBOOT mode..." screen. I looked on the Android Developer website for documentation of "fastboot oem device-info" but couldn't find anything.)
What I am trying to figure out:
What should I expect the "Device tampered" key in fastboot oem device-info to mean?
Can either fastboot.exe or adb.exe tell me whether the device has ever been bootloader unlocked?
What will checking "Allow OEM unlocking" in Developer Options do? Will it allow me to talk to Fastboot? Will it result in the phone being flagged as "tampered'?
Is there anything I can do, with the tools available to me (ADB, and fastboot if I can make it work) to ensure there is no additional malware and I am running an ordinary stock ZTE OS?
* I am also interested in any info as to the probability ZTE itself or the ZTE default ROM is spyware-ing me.
The screenshot disappeared It was this
