Mobile Data Not working after flashing rom.

Hi,
Im currently using the Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005W8 (Canadian) running X-Note V5.1
The mobile data stopped working (icon won't appear on status bar) after i flashed a custom rom and does not work anymore regardless of which rom i flash, whether is be stock rom or customs.
My mobile carrier is Telus.
Ive tried resetting to default in the access point names but that doesn't work.
anyone know what i can do to get mobile data to work again?

[Q] s5 dropping data connection all the time

Hi there recently got my s5 and rooted and installed alliance rom the problem I am having is it keeps dropping it's data connection for long periods of time I'm on the ee network in the UK and have a 900f from phones 4 u is there a new radio I have to flash or something as my LG go was fine but my s5 is peen a pain

I'm on EE and my data works fine. Have you checked your apn settings?

Do you install both the updates in the rom customiser (kernel and the other update)

All updated and seems to be working fine now not dropped in while could of been a weather problem, could you help me with another issue on the alliance rom when I install the v5 pull up zip in the rom customiser touch wiz keeps closing down. I have tried clear dalvik cache and cache and cleared the touchwiz settings in the app setting but it still continues to do this I would post in the alliance forum but it won't let me

[Q] [HELP] Samsung SM-G9006W China Unicom FIRMWARE CHANGE

Hello Everyone!
Someone made a gift from China to my girlfriend and it was an Original Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G9006W China Unicom
It dosent appear a way to install ANY GOOGLE Apps, not at all, only it has a Samsung Store that didnt even have Whatsapp, I had to install Whatsapp downloading an apk in the PC, transferring and installing. I did it with Youtube app and Google Play app but none of them work, they open and close instantly, Facebook dont install either
I already tried rooting it and still nothing works...is like this one dont like things by google or facebook :crying:
MY QUESTION: Is there a way to Install another original firmware over the one that it came with?
Please, it would be very apprecieated if you could lead the way

Can't add contact or app to the edge

After buying my edge plus I immediately rooted my phone using the kernel of arter97. I also had to flash the firmware after installing xprivacy as my phone didn't boot anymore. Cause of that I don't know if my problem is the result of rooting or existed from the beginning.
Now everything seems to work fine except the edge. If I want to add a contact it switches into the contact-menue, I choose a contact and nothing happens. The space in the edge doesn't show the choosen contact and keeps the plus-symbol instead. The same if I want to add an app.
In the edge-menue I can't make changes like to switch off the vip or the app or the light. It behaves as if I wouldn't have the right to overwrite the settings.
Does anyone has the same problem? How to solve?

Nobody? Who knows which system-files are responsible for the edge? Maybe I just would have to change the rights to write?
Would be very grateful for an answer.

I tyred to have some help by the Samsung-Hotline. I described my problem but they even don't want to give me a little hint cause they don't give service to a rooted system. And anyway they wouldn't know the responsible files.
Nobody here with the same problem? Am I the only one with a rooted edge+ ?

Hey man. Making the 'Edge services work' is not easy. First of all which firmware/custom rom do you use currently? I flashed a custom note5 rom which hasnt got edge screen feature and wanted to bring it again. Digged and found something, flashed one of versions(Edge feature_forN5.zip) (3 version remain) and got back the Side apps and contacts feature(I got BOOTLOOPS with v0.3 and DIDNT try OJ5v). Night clock and information stream never worked btw. I got bored of tryin bla bla. Now using Audax Plus rom and all edge features are fully workin. Whatever have a look at the link;

As far as I see this work was done for the galaxy note 5 edge. Do you think it works with the S6 edge +?

Hey. Yeah Im s6 edge plus user. It was working good for my Tekxodus Note5 rom installed s6e+ That rom havent got the edge features in old versions. But that does not enough to understand that why your edge features dont work. Btw you can see which apps related to edge things in that zip. I think you missed somehing, maybe you should try(if didnt) factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik.

By coincidence I just found the reason for my problem - its a bit embarassing ...
I blocked the rights of the service "PeopleStripe" on my rooted phone. Giving it back its rights the edge is working fine.

Can't create Backup using Samsung Account option.

Using Samsung s7 edge U.K. Unbranded variant.

I've been using the Back up and Reset option in the phones settings to create Backups to my Samsung Account.
For the last few days I keep getting 'Backup Failed' due to server error.
Samsung U.K. Twitter suggest using SmartSwitch but I'm not after a workaround but instead a fix. I've emailed Samsung Uk Support too (awaiting a reply)
I do Backup to my Google Account too
I've tried removing the Samsung Account, re booting and re adding the Samsung Account with no success.
Anyone have any ideas or is it a case of waiting for the 'servers' to come online ?

oh.. same here. Did you tried nougat beta ? I thing it occured right after i went back to mmallow after messing around with beta for couple of days

No I've not used the Nougat Beta on any way.
After asking around it does seem like this is directly with Samsung.

Same problem here. Thought it was beta related but its not. I have reported this issue in galaxy members app for beta. Maybe someone @ Samsung will wake up and fix it.
