Dear All,
My YU YUREKA (AO5510) is Soft Bricked. Stuck in Bootloop around YU Logo.
Unfortunately, I don't have any Backup of Data stored in the Phone's Memory.
My ONLY concern is to RECOVER Data stored in its Internal Memory.
Now, Presently-
1. The Phone Boots in 'System Recovery' & 'Fastboot Mode'.
2. I don't know if 'USB Mode' is Enabled.
3. There is No 'Custom Recovery' installed.
4. Also, I don't know if my Phone is 'Rooted' or Not.
I believe it is a 'Good' & a 'Solvable' problem for the experts around here in this forum.
Since, I'm New at this. Please Help me Recover Data with illustrious step-by-step procedures involved.
Of course, (later on) an advice on Unbricking the phone would be highly appreciable.
ThanX, Regards!

Hello everyone, I am hoping to get some help here as I think I really screwed up my device... (D802 International variant, 32GB)
I try to describe everything as detailed as possible:
I was on the newest Cloudy G2 2.2 ROM with KK basband and it was working fine.
Now I wanted back to crDroid so I decided to put a backup onto my phone (of crDroid) and restore it. (I overwrote the .twrp file in that process)
I must have forgot to wipe before restoring the backup and now after the LG boot logo an error message in the top left corner appears stating:
"boot certification verify"
Secure booting error
cause: "boot certification verify"
Seriously guys, I don't know what to do. I tried to enter download mode but windows did install the drivers and gave me plenty notifications of formating drives... I am really lost. Please somebody help me if possible...

Enter Recovery mode and reflash...
Thanks for the reply but recovery mode is not accessible anymore. I've basically tried every button combination and I am not able to enter download mode either...
EDIT:
I fixed my phone! For everyone experiencing the same issue here is what I did. Please read the OP for a detailed description of the problem:
At first, watch the beginning of this video and check which type of brick you are experiencing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQVTc2m6U-I
If you checked and you are a person having to deal with the quSUSB_BULK type of brick read the following post and watch the following video for clarification on what to do.

After following the steps you should be able to access download mode and following this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476) you should be able to flash the respective firmware for your device.
I hope that this tiny little guide may help someone and thank you for any support.
Dear XDA members.
Things started going wrong along with failed rooting procedure. This made the device to hang on manufacturer's logo (recovery availiable).
Then I've tried to follow "how-to-flashing-lenovo-s5000-via-spft" @ zonexfirmware.blogspot.com; describing the use of SPFT to flash rom from PC. Unfortunately "PMT changed for the ROM" error made me to "format whole flash except Bootloader". This allowed to flash rom in "Download Mode" via SPFT.
Now the rom still does not boot, and additionally when trying to enter recovery mode I see only "factory mode".
So, standing on the edge I'm hesitating. Probably Firmware upgrade mode or Format All + Download would solve the problem. But things may go also the other way (much like considering my latest results).
At this point I'm even not sure whether the rom linked in the guide suits my device.
Please kindly advise.
Format All + Download almost bricked the tablet.
Has anyone an idea what is wrong with this procedure? The device is not booting and have the factory mode instead recovery mode stikk,

There are a few threads in the forum about how to unbrick a hard bricked device. But only vague directions how to unbrick a soft bricked device.
My phone can be booted into fastboot mode. It is recognized by the PC but when I use command prompt and write fastboot devices nothing happens. I have installed the driver. Also my phone cannot enter any kind of recovery cause it's bricked. Only the red logo appears and nothing else.
I see there are issues with using fastboot on Gionee E7. Did anyone solve them?
I would be grateful if anyone of the members explain how to unbrick the device or show me a proper article or thread.
Thanks

Download the Kitkat update, search google or the forum for it. Rename the update to update.zip then switch off your phone and connect it to your computer. It will open up live a flash drive then copy the file to the phone. Unplug the phone and switch off and then on. It should boot into recovery. In recovery, select the option that says update from sd card. It will show you an explorer view, then look for the update.zip, select it and let it install. Once its done switch of your phone and then on back. It should working now. It may take a while to boot for the first time.
Hello Guys! . I've got an issue on my hands, and I'm not really sure how can I solve it. I installed a new ROM, through TWRP recovery. After flashing, I tried to access the recovery, but the the phone started to bootloop, and sometimes it showed a greenish welcome screen. After a few bootloops, the phone started normally, entering the system. So, no recovery on it. Right now, after I tried to access the recovery a few times, the phone is blocked on bootloop . No access to files, no access to system, and no access to recovery also. Can you please advise what can I do furthermore?
Also, very important to mention is that the computer doesn;t seem to see the phone, I tried to another PC, the same thing. It says (in both computer cases) " USB device not recognised".
Is there any way to force somehow fastboot mode on the phone? ...
I really need some helping ideas, since I'm out....
Thank you!
My Yotaphone C9660 is stuck on the Boot Screen and this persists every time I try to restart the phone. I'm assuming it's soft bricked. Though there's a lot of information on how to resolve this for Yotaphone 2, I couldn't find anything for C9660 and neither CWM or TWRP support. Even if there's no way I can get my phone to start up again, any solutions/software helpful in retrieving my data would be of great use. Any help would be highly, highly welcome! Thanks a lot!
Hi, I am facing the same problem. I connected it to a Windows computer and tried 'adb reboot recovery'. It still didn't take me to the stock recovery. I will share with you if a find a fix.
Cheers.
