My Yotaphone C9660 is stuck on the Boot Screen and this persists every time I try to restart the phone. I'm assuming it's soft bricked. Though there's a lot of information on how to resolve this for Yotaphone 2, I couldn't find anything for C9660 and neither CWM or TWRP support. Even if there's no way I can get my phone to start up again, any solutions/software helpful in retrieving my data would be of great use. Any help would be highly, highly welcome! Thanks a lot!
Hi, I am facing the same problem. I connected it to a Windows computer and tried 'adb reboot recovery'. It still didn't take me to the stock recovery. I will share with you if a find a fix.
Cheers.

Hello Guys! . I've got an issue on my hands, and I'm not really sure how can I solve it. I installed a new ROM, through TWRP recovery. After flashing, I tried to access the recovery, but the the phone started to bootloop, and sometimes it showed a greenish welcome screen. After a few bootloops, the phone started normally, entering the system. So, no recovery on it. Right now, after I tried to access the recovery a few times, the phone is blocked on bootloop . No access to files, no access to system, and no access to recovery also. Can you please advise what can I do furthermore?
Also, very important to mention is that the computer doesn;t seem to see the phone, I tried to another PC, the same thing. It says (in both computer cases) " USB device not recognised".
Is there any way to force somehow fastboot mode on the phone? ...
I really need some helping ideas, since I'm out....
Thank you!
Hi everyone. Hope somebody can help me restore my phone again. I have successfully unlocked the bootloader of my phone but I cannot boot to Rom. Every time I power on the phone it will boot to CM stock recovery. Tried to flash TWRP recovery but unable to write image. Device is locked. Did some research and found out the reason behind this is I did not unable update to CM Recovery in Developer Options.
What is the best way to resolve this issue? I still have access to Fastboot and can do ADB commands but device is locked.
Will sideloading a stock CM OP2 Rom will fix the issue? I'm also concerned with the draining of the battery, if I cannot turn on because no more charge already.
I'm using Mac computer but I can borrow a windows laptop to fix this.
Any help will be highly appreciated..
Thank you very much in advance guys!
God bless!
Hi all,
I have a problem, my phone does not start.
*It loads normally
*I can access the System Recovery / Custom OS
I have tried to:
*wipe cache partition
*load dr.fone and access phone
pc connects but problem is USB debugging not enabled
another thing is that dr. fone does not support my model/build
I am a newbie / amateur to this kind of stuff, but I´m willing to try if it is possible to get my personal info out before going for factory reset.
Can anybody help me with this? What could be the problem behind this? Would it help to try to load an alternative OS through SD to get the phone live again? Does that wipe the memory too?
Is it possible to access memory without debugging enabled? I tried to launch ADB platform for WIN, but encountered problems. "adbwinapi.dll not found" or similar...
Please help, tomorrow is monday and I´ve got to work and without a phone I have serious problems.
Thanks in advance!

Have you try to flash the firmware with ODIN?
As you mention you can access recovery and wiped your phone
Try to get correct firmware for your device and flash it with ODIN(You have to enter download mode)
If this help you, press Thanks button!
Hello everyone!
A friend of mine's phone got a system update, but something went wrong and now when the phone starts, it tries to install the update and then boots into recovery mode. I don't want to try and do a factory reset yet, because she had some important notes on SMemo which I want to retrieve with ADB. Problem is that I can't get ADB to see the phone. Can you help me out?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Guys,
Today I think I bricked my phone and I would appreciate any help.
I will describe the whole situation.
So around 2019 May, I rooted my device and decided to flash a stock based, debloated custom rom. Everything work just fined including downloading mode and recovery menu. Today, I decided to try out [S7/S7 Edge][OneUI Pie][JetBlackUI] LightROM, however strangely I was not able to boot either to TWRP neither to downloading mode via key combination.
However I had install TWRP app and from there i was able to boot to recovery mode, install the new rom and try it out.
For some reason root was not enabled in the new rom, so i figured I will try to do it via TWRP however I was unable to boot, since root access is needed to boot from TWRP app + key combo still did not work.
After searching on google, I found a poprgram which can do the trick. (Recovey-Download (CMD)
With this I was able to boot to recovery mode. Now I thought, since all this mess up was started with the new roms, I decided to restore my original stock rom, which I had a back up of. It booted up first and seemed okay, but I was curious if this solved the issues with the key comb, so I tried it going downloading mode, but it only worked with the program ((Recovey-Download (CMD)), and I saw that it is probably not gonna be good, since it only had the blue screen, but no data in the upper left corner.
Then I restarted the device and now it say " Custom binary blocked by FRP lock". and turns off itself.
I saw that FRP lock could be solved easly with Odin fresh install, problem is I have no idea how to go downloading mode. ( Assuming at this point I still can).
Sorry for the long essay but i think the more detail the easier to diagnose. Also, thank you for reading.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

Managed to solve it with USB JIG.

Hey, how did you manage to get your phone into dl mode with an USB jig? I want to try this out, but you're the only one here who's confirmed that you were able to do this on an S7 Edge.
