Mod TouchWiz home dock - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone, I am new here,
I'm looking for a way to add one more app in the dock,
That's it, nothing else. I have search in the forum but there are too many posts and I am not sure of what could be right to use.
Could you explain how to do this in a simply way?
I have a galaxy s5 (SM-G900F), with Android 6.0. 1 rooted.
Thanks

The advice is quite simple: read, read and read. Don't be a dyslexic like many round here.

i know what i want now. i rooted my phone so how about some suggestion
best way to backup phone
what are your most used apps would like to try some you use
i looked but cant find in setting menu how to make the ringtone play normal
- Get CWM backup, to full backup your device, if you have used ghost/acronis for your PC, it is just like that. another is titanium backup, My backup Pro
- Its depends on your taste, As i always have >100 non stock app on my device, difficult to say which one you like, just search market for different category
- I don't understand your question, but i guess you saying about ascending ring tone??
if yes, there are some mods/ROM available to disacble it. find in development section.
You dont need to root your Note to make it better. It is perfect as it is. Dont listen to these guys wanting you to root unles that is what you want of course
You are already late m8
If you had carefully read 2 post above yours, you cud find, he has already rooted.

[Q] Deleting "Bloatware"

Hello,
I am new to the XDA developer forums so forgive me if i have put this in the wrong part of the forum. I have looked around and thought this was the best place to put this.
I was wondering is there any way of deleting bloatware from the Galaxy s3 GT-I9300 besides rooting? i have been through the applications manager, and used the "All in one toolkit" app. But as far as i could see it would only let me delete certain applications. I have looked into rooting but i am still sitting on the fence whether or not i want to do it as i wouldnt like to end up messing it up and not being able to fix it.
All help is much appreciated and again sorry to moderators/admins if i have put this in the wrong section.

This should have been in the Q&A forum.
To answer your question, the bloatwares are system apps and to access system files you will have to root your device. Your call, mate.

Oh boy. Let me help you out just real quick before you get slammed.
1) If you're posting regarding a very specific rom, try posting in that roms thread before starting a new one.
2) If you DO start a new thread, don't post a question "[Q}" when there is a dedicated thread called "Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting" that is there for the very purpose of asking and answering questions.
3) If it seems that your inquiry is more app specific related than rom then perhaps you can also check to see if the specific app (in your case S6 Camera) was already ported here in the "Galaxy S 5 Themes and Apps" and do a quick search. You might see that there have already been requests for what you're asking:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/themes-apps/req-galaxy-s6-camera-app-port-t3105592 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/porting-s6-camera2-api-t3104246
I suggest posting in either of those and just wait.
Try not to take this personally. I'm simply educating you on how to use the forum.

[S3]Massive Android scrub in need of help.

Hello, well I'll start off by saying this is my first android phone and I am honestly just getting use to it now.
Anyway, I was wondering if there's anyway to actually not have the clock and date on the lockscreen?
My only options are Clock Size : Small -Medium - Large. No option to turn it off..
It's quite irritating cause I just want a clean background with no widgets.
I've tried widgets but am not sure exactly how to use them on lockscreen.
Can someone please help me get this god damn clock of my lockscreen?
AFAIK the phone is rooted, no idea by what root or version either, sorry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Kind Regards,
Bai

Best way to find forums on XDA is to Google something like this:

Can my Note 3 get rooted at all yet?

Hello!
I have a Note 3 SM-N900W8 from carrier CLARO PR and it is 5.0/lollipop.
I recently tried rooting it.. and did. However, I guess the file was meant for 4.4 cuz it messed up my phone and i had to do a bunch of random things to bring it back to life.
So my question is, can lollipop for Note 3 be rooted? If so, would you guys mind directing me to a tutorial?
Google ?

It's people like you people like me hate forums.
I've obviously googled it and, as I previously explained, the method given does not seem to work with lollipop. I'm gonna go post this in the general discussion where I could get some actual help.
Seriously, why did you even bother replying? -_-

This is a developers forum not an end-user forum. Might have more luck with your type of question there.
