Hi all! I'm currently running lineage OS 14.1.2 on my opt and I'm not really happy with the battery life! I haven't really calculated how much so I get, but my battery gets drained before the sun sets! I use it frequently, but only for light apps. Like checking notifications from time to time and a little bit of texting. I keep location off, Bluetooth on (I have a mi band 2, which does not remain connected to the phone. The band app only connects to the band when I get a notification and sends the info) and I keep my WiFi on (I forget sometimes). I keep the brightness pretty low too. I noticed that the battery drains much faster with location on (expected I guess) and also with lte. The reason I'm complaining about the battery life is because I was using a redmi note 4 (with a 4100 mah battery) before this and I used to get more than a day of usage (literally). Now, obviously 800 mah can't make a phone last twice as longer as the opt, so I thought that it's software related and I heard that RR Rom gives better battery life! (Plus the stock camera doesn't work on lineage OS) any help from you guys would be appreciated!! ?
Two last updates doesn't work wery well. I have many freeze and battery go down in little time.

Hi,
Since my Nexus 4 battery life was getting worse, I decided on buy a new battery from EtradeSupply.com
Installation went smoothly.
But since then (about a week now), I was never able to charge the battery to 100%.
When I check the phone after a few hours, it says Fully Charged, but then when I unplug it, it shows 85% or up to 91%
I have tried charging my phone while turning it off, full discharge, I tried re-calibrating the battery, but nothing works.
Any idea what is happening?
I am running KitKat, with CM by the way.
Are you sure that is an original battery? I bought a new one on ebay and it has a lot of problems. after i bought it on lgspares.com and it is good.

I got this one : http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-lg-nexus-4-e960-battery.html
It's supposed to be OEM LG legit.
try to reset battery stats with this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
i had similar problems in my previous phone when installed a custom rom. this helped me.
Turns out the battery was defective (or fake).
It died completely a few days ago, and couldn't turn on the phone anymore.
I ordered another battery from another website, and the new one is working perfectly (charges to 100%)
So my advice : avoid http://www.etradesupply.com/ !
I updated my S4 to KitKat and since then I have the same awake time as my screen on time, is this normal? Because I didnt notice this before when i had 4.3
If awake time is equal to screen time is a good thing.
It means that you have not background apps or processes that keep your device awake when screen is off.
Inviato dal mio GT-I9505 utilizzando Tapatalk
It's normal, screen on must be "awake" , if your awake time is much more Ryan screen on time, then you must be some background process keeps phone away from into deep sleep
Ok, but can you explain me this situation, how is possible that awake time not activate while screen is on?
To see awake time and screen on time I use betterbatterystats.
It's more accurate and give you many useful informations.

cant use BBS because on KitKat phone must be rooted and mine is unrooted. Can u answer me on last question?
I don't know. Probably it's a fail of stock battery statistics

Smokkie's V5 I believe. Its so smooth and the best battery life. I go to school at 8 and come back 3, at the start battery is 100 percent then when school ends, its 92, with a little usuage.

I can confirm, SmokkieRom is the best one for battery and no customization. And to be honest, I feel every port of Note 5 is bloated, we should be able to select which S apps should be installed. Well, just a tip for the devs
attery life after 7.0 update is terrible, first beta was great I got 6-7 hour of SOT, now I get only 2 hours, what about you guys ? (4G always on, AOD on, internet browsing, messenger, light gaming)
That's suprising. I am getting great battery life since Nougat 7.0
Stock firmware.
Around 110 apps installed
No battery saving apps (such as Greenify).
No apps are optimized for battery saving.
Always on Display enabled.
Auto Brightness Enabled
GPS turned on
Sync turned on

Awesome! It seems some people are just unlucky. Or maybe they have apps using a lot of battery.

lol yeah maybe the guy who posted should drop accu battery app to begin with. :/ don't know.
My battery life is on par with my original March 2016 MM release, which is pretty decent. I did have huge battery season at first on nougat, but removing the built in news app seemed to resolve this. Not sure if that was coincidence though.
Which rom are you guys using? I have 7.0 BTU. Battery life is average, not better than MM. 4.5 hours.

That's obnoxious man. Mine is not even draining 1%/h when it's standby.
Generally I'm so satisfied with s7e battery, whole day with data/WiFi turned on, still remains like 20% when I'm going to bed.

Having the same issue. unplugged at 100% and went to sleep for 5 hours. came back and the phone was at 72%. Not normal at all for me.
standby is great but while using the phone the battery drains a lot more in nougat than marshmallow, even the hd and fhd options seems useless coz they don't help a lot with saving the battery. the moment i unlock my device and start using it the battery starts to drop immediately .may be need to visit service centre.
Using the device for more than 1 hour and its showing 38 minutes moreover no detail of usage is it a bug? Fee minutes ago it was showing correct
