Can someone please tell me if there is a way to unroot the 910 AT&T version. If so please direct.
I have a full dump of v10m. Are you looking to go that far back to stock, or are you just wanting to remove root?
I would LOVE to talk to you on this issue!!! I need to return to factory!
I too, have the H910. I simply have a bad motherboard in it. The camera was turned blurry when replacing the camera glass. But even after replacing the camera, it's still the same.
I'd like to get it legit enough to return for a factory replacement, with no signs of being rooted. Any way you can help? I don't care about the version, as long as it's guaranteed to work! THANK YOU!!!

My xv6800's screen died so I got a refurb (which is coming tomorrow) from Verizon. However, before I send the dead one back, should I bother trying to flash it back to stock? It's running DCD right now. I mean i guess they can't see it's flashed unless they bother hooking it up to a computer, but...I dont know. Should I do anything to it?
you might want to if this is a warranty issue and not a insurance trade out. Insurance doesn't matter. but warranty would be void if not on stock rom.
Yeah, its under warranty. I would do it obviously but the screen is completely dead at this point so I am not really sure if I even can.
well do you have My Mobiler? Not sure if it would work, but that allows you to see your screen on your desktop.
pull battery out.... introduce it to a 10 second tour in Mr. Mircowave and it wont matter then
You could always just flash it, because it would look like you just hard reset it to anyone that looks at it.
I would feel terrible tossing my phone into the microwave. We have been through a lot together!
don't send it back keep it as a back up!
My Tmobile G2, which I bought couple of 4-5 months back, is almost Dead. (Displays couple of white stripes on black screen once powered).
My contract with Tmobile is cancelled/broken so they are unable to access my account and wanted me to contact HTC. I did so and HTC agreed to repair the phone under the condition that there is no unauthorized software installed on it. My G2 is rooted and has CM7 on it. I dont have any way to flash it back to stock without the display working. Rooting or Custom ROM has nothing to do with this issue but HTC is not going to agree. If I send it and dont get repaired due to out-of-warranty violation, I would have to bear shipping charges/ HTC technician anaylsis charges etc and still end up with a dead phone.
What should I do now?
(...I wish I had not rooted my phone and put CM7)
I beleive this is the guide you need http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835971

How do unroot without my display working?
Oops didn't read correctly, must be time for bed. I remember I had a peice of software ocne that mirrored my phones on my pc and I was able to control all the functions with out looking at or touching the phone, but I can't for the life of think of its name.
The only other way that springs to mind is to get someone to talk you through what buttons to press, can't imagine that would be very easy though.
Actually it might not be that hard, because you only have to use CWM and the bootloader, the guide says to use rom manager but its not really needed and navigating through cwm with no display wouldn't be to difficult with someone guiding you. If no one else offers to help I'm happy to try but it wouldn't until at least 7pm GMT tomorrow.

Alright then!
The other day I dropped my phone, from rather high place, and completely ruined the phone screen. Only the top quater is visible (still touch responsive) but is very pixellated and not all that quater is working.
Anyhow, I've got insurance (thank god), and just processed the claim.
Now I know that insurance doesn't care if it's rooted or not. I'm from Australia, the phone carrier is Virgin mobile and the insurance company is "Risk Insure".
Anyhow, I have put GPE on the phone as it's better than Bloatwiz, with custom kernel/recovery.
What I would like to know, is, how do I get it back to stock? Odin? I don't want to completely ruin the phone (brick it) and risk having the claim denied.
Or, if you have knowledge in phone insurance, is it really worth it? As in, do they care if it's rooted or not? I know it's different from warranty, but still...
Thanks very much!
Hmm..really..no one?
I want to send my phone away, just want to know if I needed to bring it back to stock, and if so, how would I do it. Nothing illegal/fraudulent.
Find the stock firmware for your device and flash through odin. Maybe the insurance company doesn't care about your root status or the rom u installed but you better be avoiding the risks. Most probably they will just have the screen repaired and send it back, as it is what they did for me..

Thanks for your reply.
I managed to find the stock release for my carrier and flashed through odin.
Hopefully I did it right, as it's rather hard to see without a functioning Screen.
I've now sent it off, so we'll see how it goes!
Just let us know the result.. Good luck
Hey, I just got a g2 from ebay and noticed it had a touch screen issue.
So I rooted it and tried to see if I could fix it. Well I couldn't so now its getting sent back.
I want to undo anything that may concern the seller. I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 but wanted to confirm this is the right thing to do.
I rooted with stump root
I posted screenshots of my phone info.
Not sure if I need to supply more info, let me know.
I just want the ebay seller to be happy so I get a replacement or refund.
Thanks in advance!
I hope this is the right place to post this, please feel free to hate on me if not. Kinda new here.
Has there been any word on rooting or at least unlocking the bootloader on the ZMax Pro? Ever since the B14 update my rear camera doesn't work. Has anybody else experienced this? The flash as a flashlight either, which is very scary in the dark! I have to use the screen light oldskool-style! And of course I already tried factory resetting and everything...
I feel with it rooted at least I'd have a fighting chance at fixing it, already violated any warranty taking it apart to make sure somehow the connectors didn't get shook loose.
Or if at least the bootloader would give me a start. The camera, when it worked before the update, was nice for my macrophotography.
And while I don't think it's possible, I figured I'd ask.. Is there a way to downgrade?
Thanks, any info is appreciated.. Even if it's just to say "wrong board, n00b!"
You should search before you post.

People on Xda don't like posting without searching first. Just warning you so people don't jump on you lol. They have some people working on it over at https://androidforums.com/threads/zte-zmax-pro-official-root-discussion.1110550/page-70
Well, the rear camera problem is a problem that is hardware related. The ribbon for the camera fell off from the board as I do have personal experience from this happening to me
