SM-A510FD Reduce Battery Timing After Firmware Reinstalling - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi!
Recently I Root my Galaxy A5 but wasn't happy with the result so I reinstall the Fresh Firmware using KIES. After reinstalling the Firmware the battery timing is reduce as compared to before. This is the Latest Update I am using.
Current version: A510FXXU4CQG7

I installed more apps before placing the firmware, but still the battery timing was better than now. Is there anything i can do to improve it like it was before?

[Q] Question About Stock firmware build number

Hi,
A couple of months ago i rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE and now i have decided i wanted to unroot.
I wanted to unroot so i could easily update my phone again through samsung update as it wont let me if phone is rooted.
I went into SuperSU and pressed Full Unroot and rebooted my phone. After reboot i had lost root as planned, but when i tryed updating through
the update on my phone it still said my device was rooted.
I decided i wanted to go back to original factory stock firmware through odin.
I am able to find my firmware but cant find the same build number.
i wanted to ask does the build number change when samsung bring out an update or will my build number always be the same?
Here my phone details
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE
Im on EE
UK
Model number: SM-N5005
Android version: 4.3
Baseband version: N9005XXUDMJ7
Build number: JSS15J.N9005XXUDMJ
Im trying to search the internet for the Original Stock firmware but all im finding on websites (Including this website)
is this firmware
Region: EVR (everything everywhere) UK
PDA: N9005XXUDML3 (different to my Current)
Changelist: 2019540
Android: 4.3
Build date: 12/12/2013
i havent updated since october 2013 due to being rooted and i hope to go to kitkat soon.
Am i able to use this firmware with a different build number?
Thank you for any help.
proberly a silly question but i need to ask before i do something wrong that could have been prevented.

go to www.sammobile.com download firmware you need flash with odin factory reset should be good to go
MJ7 --> M= 2013 J= October
ML3 --> M=2013 L= December
M= 13ª letter
J= 10ª letter

You can upgrade from MJ7 to ML3 like I made from MJ7 to ML2.
Downgrade from MJ7 for one before not.

The build number is the firmware that come with. It will not harm your devices as long as the firmware is updated version. If your are updating to KitKat, you will not be able to downgrade to 4.3. Save your EFS file.
Thank you. I managed to find my MJ7 build and used odin and it worked.
but thank you for your comments i have a better undestanding for the future
You can go MJ7 > MK2 and return to MJ7 again also.

Yes you can flash, you are on 935F International model, so yes. You don't need to root to flash via ODIN. Generally speaking region based ROM's are more optimized for language, LTE bands, but the rest of the release notes are more or less the same across regions.
Thanks my friend. Any benefits from this firmware, or its mostly the same? what are the differences?
Anyone can chim in?
i know i'm late but i wanna chime in cuz noone else has. If the model's the same, you can flash any of it & it will work just fine, data/calls etc no problems. The only things is that you'll get the latest security patches from Google if you flash it. Oh, using Odin to flash stock firmware will never trip the Knox counter and it is almost impossible to mess it up totally. I mean at worst, you did it wrong and it fails, or you have to flash it again.
Also getting a newer firmware can give you bug fixes & newer features too sometimes. Choosing your region/countries CSC might help for Languages for the keyboard etc, but not really needed, just as long as you flash International sm-G935F with another sm-g935F. hope this helps

Can't receive OTA updates on Galaxy s8 [Unlocked, no root]

Hello! My Galaxy s8 can't seem to find any updates on my device even though it is not the latest version.
Software screen says: Latest update installed. Current version: G950FXXU1AQDD/G950FNZC1AQDD/G950FXXU1AQC8
On Samsung page shows there are: doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-G950F/DBT/doc.html
Phone info
Model number: SM-G950F
Android v: 7.0
Samsung Experience v: 8.1
Baseband v: G950FXXU1AQC8
Build number: NRD90M.G950FXXU1AQDD
Android security patch level: April 1, 2017
I'm from Europe/Romania and using Orange carrier. I bought it from someone who said the phone is from the UK which is true.
I did a factory restore when I got it and the phone is not rooted and unlocked.
Should I flash a new version? If so which one? I've never done this before so I'm really cautious.
same here i live in algeria can't receive oreo update , i'm thinking of flashing my s8 to the french firmware but i'm scared of breaking it
The samsungmobile.com link shows OTA availability for a CSC of DBT, which is German according to other XDA threads, not Romanian. Update availability is based on CSC, are you sure that your CSC is DBT?
I have the same issue .. please can anybody assist
I would try updating manualy to Oreo latest and then updating it to PIE
Just update from odin with home_csc to keep the data. But if you update from 7.0 to another android version, i recomend a clean install.

Downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow (SM-G570Y)

Hi,
I am trying to downgrade my Galaxy J5 Prime (SM-G570Y) from Android 7.0, back to Android 6.0.1 (for some reasons). I have selected the 4 files (BL, AP, CP, CSC) in Odin for flashing. I have tried several methods to downgrade, but Odin keeps saying "FAIL!". Is there a solution for this?
Current Android 7.0 (Nougat) version on my phone:
G570YDXU2BRC1 (with Android Security Patch Level of 1 March 2018)
Planning to downgrade to Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) of version:
G570YDXU1AQG1 (with Android Security Patch Level of 1 July 2017)
CSC used on my phone:
Philippines (Open Line) - XTC
Thank you in advance!

I have this same problem to i want to downgrade because i want to fix my baseband and IMEI.
But looking and searching the sites and other forums i still don't find that is possible yet as there is not U2 android 6 available. Since the android 7 have security level U2 and can't go back to U1 (G570YDXU2BRC1 android 7 & G570YDXU1AQG1 android 6.0.1)
I guess we just have to root the phone and try other methods to fix IMEI and baseband.

You can use sammobile or updato site to download firmware (updato is much faster).
You can also use samfirm PC tool to download firmware even faster and is recommended.
U can pick any region like DBT (Germany) , BTU (Uk) ect.
Did u rooted your device perhaps?
I didnt rooted but I had flashed a zip file which was the android 9 and from then I don't get updates.
