Hi guys,
I have installed TWRP and rooted my phone and when i try to install any ROM i get error 7.
I have tried this fix: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762 but with no success. I tried this fix on 3 different roms with no success.
TWRP and SuperSU are updated to latest version ( altough i also tried flashing with older versions of TWRP).
Did anyone else experience this? Is there any fix or something that i am doing wrong?
Thank you in advance

I have tried all 3 latest variants of TWRP with no luck....
Just had the same problem. After wiping data (factory reset), cache & dalvik I had no more "Error 7".

I tried CM11 for a few days. But since pie control is a crap in CM11 I tried to revert to CM10.2
I flashed the JWR66Y bootloader (z20) and radio (.84), then then cm10.2 and the 4.3 gapps.
But after reboot I get a FC (com.android.process.acore stopped) and then a bootloop.
I googled and found out, that this may depend on the way, a newer version stores the contacts. I flashed back to CM11 (working), stopped syncing, deleted the contacts and tried to flash CM10.2 again - same result.
So - is there a way to go back to 10.2?
I did, flashed radio & bootloader via sideload, then flash rom and gapps from recovery

I flashed radio and bootloader via fastboot, rom via recovery and gapps via sideload. Is there a difference between flashing via sideload and fastboot?
Will try your way tomorrow.

Might be easier just to flash the 4.3 factory image, flash recovery, root and then cm10.2? That way everything gets wiped cleanly.

Wiping cleanly is exactly the point I try to avoid.
I'd like to hear if your successful downgrading without a clean wipe. Let us know.

Rooted my Moto x pure 6.0 and is now stuck on motorola logo after trying to install supersu.
Nope, I didn't make a backup before I tried to install supersu.
I have access to recovery.
Is it possible to flash android 5.1 to my device?
Should I just try to flash another custom rom?
What happens if I do a factory reset ?
Thanks in advance.
Try 2.62-3

Thanks.....flashed it but still stuck on bootloader, but a little further on.
Instead being stuck on the M it now is stuck on the M with the stitching circling.
Wipe cache and flash latest su might fix it. Or full wipe and do 2.62-3 again.

Thanks.
I did wipe cache and davlik cache before I installed 2.62-3 and that got a little further along in the boot process before it started to loop again.
When you say full wipe, your talking about a factory reset?

okay..try 2.62 version of supersu. This will work for sure.
HERE IS THE LINK
2.62-3 then flash any thing above that version.
1) Try 2.62-3 from*http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps...5#post64161125
2) Then flash with 3.67 from above.

Got it working
what else did you do . I too am stuck with m and circle. I flashed 2.62. and nothing. am I missing something.
That worked! Thank you, thank you, thank you. My only other problem is that I can't get into TWRP without being connected to my PC via USB and running "fastboot boot recovery.img". Any ideas?
Edit: Apparently doing the fastboot command didn't permanently load TWRP onto the device. I found a solution on Google Play that worked.
Thank you Amit.lohar. It saved me after 5 days stuck with logo boot loop and ton of attemps flashing different firmwares & superSU versions

Reboot to recovery after wiping everything and then flash rom, etc.

Wipe is not enough, you have to format data in TWRP.

i do format data
I have the same issue, with Greek twrp and the last stable or developer rom.
Format everything from twrp, reboot recovery, install the rom, format data again. And when I choose reboot system, it never open. And I can't go to twrp again, like it's lost it
same issue here. bricked phone?
can someone explain why it works by other and some guys it not work with twrp.? and flash a rom.

Hi! I wanted to know if you can flash a new ROM without performing a factory reset and only deleting the System using TWRP or any other recoveries?
I haven't tested it yet but I'm sure you guys have done that or something.

Yes. It's called Dirty Flash. But if you switch between 2 heavy modded roms like Oxygen OS to HavocOS, it may causes boot loop.
