Wipe is not enough, you have to format data in TWRP.

Hello guys
someone can help me, to explain me why in my 9t global cant install miui eu stable or mi globe (MIUI builder)?
my steps
- unlocked bootloader
- installed two of twrp versions (greek and 4pda)
- format data ---> yes, reboot
- copy miui eu (latest stable) in phone storage,
- Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache and install miui eu zip, then reboot
- always reboot the phone stuck at mi logo or at mi boot, then 30 minutes to wait nothing happened
- the same steps with miui mi-globe (rom builder) and the same result: stuck at mi logo
- then reflesh fastboot stock miui stable latest with mi flasher
someone can help me, why i cant install miui eu?
thanks in advance
Use only 4pda TWRP. Follow the same steps you did like explained, but after flashing the ROM, before rebooting, in TWRP, go to Advanced and click on Rm avb-verity&forceencrypt, when it's done, restart.

I am on latest eu stable and use greek TWRP (3.3.1_12-08) basically i did the same steps as you tried to do.
After format data and sucessful reboot to TWRP there is no need to wipe anything.
For greek TWRP i recommend an USB-OTG device with latest MIUI by Xiaomi.eu 10.3.15 stable on it.
In TWRP install the SW from USB_OTG
Reboot to system, wait 2-4 min and averything should be working.
4dpa TWRP is also working fine, i tested both.

plus or minus:
"Dm-verity and Forced Encryption Disabler. Many Android ROMs have become more and more secure. Many devices have been equipped with new system security mechanism to protect any advanced modification to the system itself. One of the known mechanism is Device Mapper Verity, also known as dm-verity"

Hello your phone is a global or EEA ?
What's the difference between global and eea?
Anyway I think is global version
Hello all,
So finally my waiting time was over and could unlock my bootloader, excited to flash xiaomi.eu 9.11.14 (I was on MIUI11 Global based on Android 9.)
I unlocked my phone straight away and followed this guide to install it: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/9-11-14.53327/
After unlocking I then booted into system to enable ADB debugging. Then flashed and booted into TWRP (version I used: twrp-3.3.1-3-davinci-mauronofrio.img). I wiped /data and cache. I selected the Xiaomi EU ROM and started flashing, flash went successful. Then booted into system. But then it got stuck at the "Redmi - powered by Xiaomi" splash screen and waited a bit thinking it would take a bit. Took over 10 min before I figured out I might've done something wrong. So booted back into recovery where a chinese TWRP popped up, managed to change language to English. Then tried flashing Xiaomi EU again, but my internal storage contained only folders of random numbers and characters (unreadable format) and the Xiaomi EU ROM wasn't there. I then tried moving the Xiaomi EU ROM from my PC to my phone again. Didn't work, can't transfer anything to internal storage although storage was mounted. Also my main internal storage name turned into Chinese characters. I thought of flashing the same TWRP I used earlier with fastboot but without success. Now my phone also can't boot into TWRP, only fastboot working.
Now I am downloading the Full fastboot ROM to hope to recover it back with the MiFlash tool. But I need help with fixing how to correctly flash Xiaomi EU. How could my flash not work? Did anyone had the same?
In TWRP you must Format Data and confirm with yes, wipe data is not enough.

Okay so I've tried Pixel experience, lineage os , omni rom treskmod and couple of other custom android 10 roms, all stable and official and also updated ones, the wifi just simply doesn't work, wifi hotspot won't turn on either. I've tried every solution on the internet. I've even factory reset my phone using msm download tool and no luck(did this countless times).
I'm back in OOS 10.3.2 and there's no issue apparently.
At one point , i flashed a custom rom and the wifi didn't work, so I flashed OOS in the two slots and checked , the wifi works in OOS apparently, and never in custom roms.
Has anyone got this issue before and knows a solution?
How is your installation procedure?

I flash OOS and twrp on both slots, reboot recovery,
And then flash the rom and twrp, reboot recovery, then format data and factory reset, reboot recovery, if needed for some gapps, then reboot system

That's a lot of unnecessary steps. OOS on both slots, reboot to bootloader, boot twrp, format data and flash the custom rom, reboot bootloader, boot twrp and flash gapps, don't install twrp permanently if you are not going to install Magisk.

I need magisk too, I usually permanently install twrp
Also you think it's the way I'm installing at fault here? Or the rom? Or is it something wrong with my device?

This.
I always install roms with the procedure i said above and have never had any problems.

Alright so got one doubt, I used OOS 10.3.2 to flash, should it be oos 10.0 only?
Thought that didn't make a difference.
I am also facing the same issue. Were you able to find any solution ?
So I found out treskmod omni rom and Paranoid android quartz 2 work perfectly , try those out, it still doesn't solve the problem in the other roms though. So not exactly a solution.
Hi Everyone,
The first thing I did after flashing TWRP on my RN7 was a BackUp with TWRP of all my partitions. (It was the first time i launched it, so i also saved the Miui Recovery).
Then I tried to boot on the system but I get stucked in the "Redmi by Xiaomi" screen.
I tried to install an AOSPExtended Rom but it didn't worked.
I flashed Orange Fox and retrayed to flash AOSPExtended. It didn't worked either because it was designed for violet and not for Lavander (facepalm).
I tried an Unofficial LineageOS found on XDA, the installation worked but I'm stuck in a bootloop since.
The Redmi by Xiaomi screen starts over and over. I can't even turn off my phone.
I tried to reboot after wiping Cache, System, Vendor, Data and Dalvik (just to see if I would be able to turn it off) but same result.
Do you have any Ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Which rom did you have while taking the first backup?
Wipe System, Data, Cache, then reboot the recovery and then restore the backup of System, Data and Boot. Don't restore recovery. See if this works.

Flash a custom ROM with the latest OrangeFox, then format the data partition (Menu->Manage Partitions->Data->Format data->"yes"), then reboot to system.
Do NOT try to restore your TWRP backups.
I finally tried an other Lineage Os Rom from XDA and it finally worked.
But I don't really know why.
The first one I tried to install was in fact a Potato OS... (You can download it from the same page!)
But still, this ROM was for Lavander too, I don't understand why it didn't worked....
Anyway my phone is OK now! Thanks a lot!

What would happen is :crying: Returning to MIUI from a custom ROM is a can of worms. There are instructions here: https://wiki.orangefox.tech/en/guides. But even that is not guaranteed to do the job.

Hey!
I want to ask you good people how to properly change my global 11.0.1.0.PFJMIXM to miui 11 stable xiaomi eu (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20MI9T_V11.0.6.0.QFJCNXM_v11-10).
My phone is actually encrypted, has antiroll back "1", twrp already installed (twrp-3.3.1-2-davinci-fix).
Lately I've tried:
1. twrp format data, typed "yes"
2. copied rom, installed
3. reboot to recovery, and flashed magisk
and bootlooped...
I also would like to have hasty kernel and try new 82hz dtbo... If you be soo kind, you can suggest me how to do it also.
Thank you

okay, i managed successfully xiaomi eu stable V11.0.6.0 and magisk.
Now can sombody advice me how exacly should I install "Hasty-davinci-Intoxicated-r3" and "VendorOverclockPackV2" (from topic: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/themes/screen-overclock-mode-t4079693/page33 )
to get more then 66hz refresh rate?
Oh, and my phone is now actually encrypted...
I know it's something like:
1. mount vendor if isnt
2. backup boot, dtbo and vendor
3. flash VendorOverclock V2.img (without reboot)
4. install hasty kernel (without reboot)
5. flash oc dtbo file (without reboot)
6. install magisk (without reboot)
would it be ok?
