Did you search for that in mixer_paths.xml?
Code:
/system/etc/mixer_paths.xml - before modification

<path name="headset-mic">

<ctl name="ADC2 Volume" value="2" />

Which is wants enable crt-off
This file can be found in frameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml

Code:
<LinearLayout android:orientation="horizontal" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content">
<include layout="@layout/qp_brightness" />
</LinearLayout>
recompile
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted

Hello. I have a little problem with v3.1. During a call, the screen is turned off automatically when I put the phone in my ear... But after I separate it, the screen remains off... It is not turned on again. I checked the proximity sensor with Ktweaker APP (I'm using KT Kernel) and it works well.
I didn't notice this issue in v2.9...
Anyone else is having this malfunctioning?
Many thanks!
Amazing job, i love your roms!

i9500 echo problem. Please help

I've read many posts by i9500 owners on the echo issue. The problem is that the person calling can hear an echo of him/her self issue. I couldn't find a solution. I find it really strange that an issue as serious as this one hasn't been dealt with yet. What's the point of releasing new custom roms for the i9500 with this issue unresolved.
The only custom roms that don't have this problem are stock based roms which suck bigtime.
I really love cyanogenmod and other aosp roms and would love to be able to use them. Any developers out there. We really need your help. This is an issue that all i9500 owners have . I've installed cyanogenmod on 3 i9500 phones just to make sure it's not just my phone. The echo is always there
Please help
I finally found a way to fix the echo. This works on cyanogen based roms which have the same mixer paths xml file as cyanogen mod. However on many roms the mixer paths file looks different and I haven't figured out how to do the same thing.
So for anyone who has the same problem. Find this line
ctl name="Earpiece", "Builtin Mic", "Back Mic" /> remove "Back Mic" from the line so it looks like this ctl name="Earpiece", "Builtin Mic" />
Find this line <ctl name="Noise Gate Threshold Volume" value="3" /> and change the value from 0 to 3
Now delete the following lines
<!-- Route all mics via LHPF1 -->
<!-- need to move modifier field -->
<ctl name="LHPF1 Mode" value="High-pass" />
<ctl name="LHPF2 Mode" value="High-pass" />
I'm not sure which one fixed the problem and I didn't have time to check yet.
So for anyone with the i9500 echo problem try it.
I've installed slim rom 5.0.2 for i9500 on which the mixer paths file looks exactly like cyanogenmod. For some reason on 12.1 cyanogenmod nightly builds my bluetooth doesn't work. My phone pairs with the bluetooth device but there is sound only for a couple of seconds and then it goes off. Any idea why? Anyone else with this problem? I tried it with the original unmodified mixer paths to make sure it doesn't have anything to do with the changes I made. I also tried different modems.
Bluetooth works fine on other cyanogenmod based roms like GearCM
Any developers out there can you take a look at what I did and explain why it fixes the issue? Why haven't they fixed it on cyanogenmod nightly builds.
Also many roms like GearCM for example, mixer paths looks completely different. The microphones are not named build in mic, back mic etc... I can just see a bunch of inputs and I have no idea which ones correspond to which microphones. Also I can't find the "<!-- Route all mics via LHPF1 -->" section. Can someone explain how to do the same thing on these roms?
Anyway, now my phone finally works without an echo even at full volume, but I would love to be able to tweak GearCM 5.1.1 or 6.0.1 version in the same way but like I said the file looks completely different. Any help appreciated.

never tried cm13. I still get some echo at high volume but its really soft. tmyou said you have an idea? I can test it. maybe disable some mic for speakerphone mode
which build of cm13 are you refering to. gearcm 13?
there is also something called AEC which stands for acoustic echo cancellation. Maybe thats what we need to enable but dont know how. audio_effects.conf has some lines which refer to aec, agc automatic gain control and ns noise suppression. They are commented out by default but just removing the comments doesnt seem to work

But he isnt answering
So lets help eachother this mixerpath with disabled dualmic speakerphone
You know what to do
Plz test it
Btw its for gearcm13
I know you like me want to use Marshmalow
Could you give a link for that thread that you found solution for echo fix
I didn't find a solution in any thread. I found possible solution but nothing that works. I just played around with mixer paths xml until I found something that works. Btw I downgraded to cm 12.1
Can you test it yourself and let us know? You can just back it up to your external sdcard and place your modified file in /etc with root explorer overwriting the original. Reboot and if it doesn't work just replace it with the original again that you've backed up on the external sdcard.
If you can't do it I can try backup my cm12.1 and install cm13 just to test it. Btw my camera didn't work with gearcm13 and some other stuff I don't remember. Does it work for you? Which is the latest build of gearcm13?
I've read somewhere about an application called Samsung Noise Reduction that allows you to enable or disable noise reduction on cyanogenmod based roms. Some people say it made a difference for them but it didn't make any difference for me. Give it a shot maybe it works for you.
To install it you have to download amazon underground. It's an amazon app similar to google play store that you can download apps from. Then find an application called "Samsung Noise Reduction"
Make sure you select "Apps and Games" category when searching for it. Install the free version and try to enable/disable noise reduction to see if it makes a difference.
What did you change?

What is the advantage of "barebones"?
According to CyanogenMod,
"Some of the apps that come with your phone can be safely removed without causing stability issues. They take up space and use resources that could be used for other things. Removing unwanted apps will theoretically make your phone run faster and smoother, plus, you can configure your phone just the way you want it. "

Has to be built separately. Do you really need Snap? Can you try the OxygenOS camera port? It is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/port-oxygenos-stock-camera-cm-t3451721
If you insist, I can build the Snap APK separately.
