how do I change the font color to white notifications?
thank you please help me

sorry my bad english, please help me
I'm using cyanogenmod7
I also wish to know if that's possible.
You can change that from settings->CM extra->UI interface->notification colors->items title color
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
at CyanogenMod7 not have these options needs to change in the framework-res.apk, but where this meeting. xml and how to set it up?
Thanks for answering me
sorry my bad english
Ok, i did not know that CM7 did not have those settings. It was there in CM6 if i remember right.
Anyway, here is how to do it. You need to decompile framework-res.apk and open styles.xml file inside /res/values folder. Then search for the code shown below.
Code:

You have to change ?textColorPrimaryInverse to ?textColorPrimary if you want white. You can also mention the actual color there like, #ffffffff for white.
Then recompile and reflash. See the snapshot below
thanks I'll try to do this
just one question I am modifying the framework-res by metamorph if after unpacking the framework-res.apk need to do signapk?
and I can leave that. xml so

#ffffffff</ item>
Thank you for your help
I don't think it will work using metamorph. I have not tried it. If you send me your framework-res.apk , I can mod it for you. You can attach it here.
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
thank you please if possible add that of battery percentage also in the my framework-res.apk

one asks if I decompile the framework-res.apk with apktool to do with need the signapk?

Hi,
Attached is the flashable update of the framework with the mods you have asked. Just put it in openrecovery/updates folder and flash using AOR.
Please take a backup, just in case.
Let me know if you have any issues.
thank you to turn night to post the result, as you make the files to add by openrecovery?
thanks for the help
I didn't understand.
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App

Works fine on TW rom with mod style framewok to AOSP
You 'can customize the phone through pitchers, wallpapers, themes, icons, links, etc. With a handful of applications you can have wonderful personalization on your phone.
However, there are many limitations to what you can customize your Android phone. These limitations can be removed if you root your phone. In addition, there is no fun at all if you do not root, because typhoid has almost no disadvantages, and the list of benefits is ......... ..infinite!
As a user rooted, we can do the following things:
1. Install a custom ROM, a ROM is simply the phone firmware. Installing a custom ROM has many advantages. You can change the phone according to your tastes. Go to forum.xda-developers.com and enter your phone model in "type find the device ..." box at the top. The section called "Android Development" contains ROM, guides and many other things that you are not even aware of.
2. Modify Kernel [cautiously]: Actually, this part is one advanced. A kernel is well explained in this guide to AndroidCentral. Like any ROM, you can install a custom kernel, too. With a custom kernel, you can overclock the CPU and GPU (ie to increase their frequencies), tweak the battery life, and more. But the kernel to be a vital part of any phone, must be handled with care.
3. Use amazing apps that can run only on rooted phones. Here we are talking about applications, then we will cover this point below. There are a wide range of applications for embedded devices, but will focus exclusively on the customization.

You have a thread for this, Do you need another, I hope the MOD see's this.
That thread was to let people request themes in general, but this is ICS only
Anyway, I deleted the old thread for you!

Nice work mDroidd !
Haven't tested yet but i'm sure it will work
I suggest, you port themes from here
Is a massive repo and you have many too choose from.
Hope this keeps you busy !
Keep updating this thread and tell Zecanilis to delete your earlier thread.
Also, i hope you make themes for CM7 because bioan's theme repo thread has become pretty much primitive and needs new themes.

Hello,
I tried reading some tutorials to make swipe to remove notifications for my status bar. But Im always getting FC's even I implement it correctly. Im not sure what went wrong, I tried multiple times but could not do it.
Heres my framework-res.apk, framework.jar and system UI link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?y6j6wt9z997iw7n
I would appreciate if anyone can add it to my status bar or provide a appropriate tutorial so that I can do it myself.
Thanks for your time.
Regards,
- Hitme987!
Try my framework with ur systemUI. I think u wrong while mod framework.jar.

There is no bad choises. Only bad results
the best is you make your own battery icon and/or google it. you will find it i'm sure.. and when you get it, decompile framework-res.apk and change the battery logo of your choice. You must know how to use photoshop. nobody likes to give their work for free. you donate, they make or you make for yourself for free
u can extract framework-res apk or systemui apk
every rom was different
after extract framework
go to res drawable ldpi
u can see
stat_sys_battery bla bla
replace it all
dont forget to look battery status
01234567--100
or 0-10-20-bla bla
if status batrery different
u must see in drawable
look at battery status
after that
zip your framework
change zip to apk
copy to system/framework/here
dont forget to change permision before
rwrr
reboot
press thank if i help u

May I ask how did you remove persistant Google Search bar from Recents?
I use Nova Prime and it's able to remove it only from homescreen.

Hi, could u please put the clear all button at bottom left so that its convinient to press it ?
I've actually gotten used to just leaving more of my most frequently used apps open. It's faster when multitasking. Hopefully the next update fixes the huge memory leaks.

It'll overlap with the cards which makes it slightly difficult and less convenient to place it there.
Here is how you can add battery percentage to this mod
Decompile SystemUI.apk get it here
Add smali to SystemUI\smali\com\erryy get it here
Recompile SystemUI.apk
Decompile SystemUI.apk
Edit SystemUI\res\layout\keyguard_status_bar.xml (this is lock screen & will prevent double percentage)
On line 12
change
PHP:
android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content"
to
PHP:
android:layout_width="0.0dip" android:layout_height="0.0dip"
Edit SystemUI\res\layout\signal_cluster_view.xml (this adds percentage where there is no percentage for battery)
Add this on line 15
PHP:
<com.erryy.BatteryText android:textAppearance="@style/TextAppearance.StatusBar.Clock" android:textSize="@dimen/battery_level_text_size" android:paddingLeft="6.0dip" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:singleLine="true" />
Recompile SystemUI.apk and push it to System/priv-app/SystemUI/SystemUI.apk
Make sure the permissions are correct and reboot your phone

hey, gaynych, thanks for the great mods. I’m currently using your “Center clock and the battery charge in percent” mod and I really like it. I also wanted to use this mod “Add Clear All Recents” but for some reason I can’t seem to get both to work on my stock N5 at the same time. I try flashing one zip after the other but only one would work at a time. I also try flashing one first reboot and then flashing the other but only the last flash would work but not both at the same time. I’m I doing something wrong. or can you please combo them into one zip. a combo zip would be awesome and a back to stock zip. would be great to. Thank you so much for the great mods. :good:
Anyone tried this with the XtraSmooth rom? XtraSmooth = odexed but not fully stock
