Display times out with face in front - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Hi Guys !
Switched from G3 to G6.
With the G3, display never timed out while my face was in front of it
Is there any way to configure G6 to do the same ?
Many thanks in advance !

G3 and G4 differences

Ladies and Gents I had the opportunity to compare G3 and G4 Universal devices. I'll try to describe all the differences, lets this be the definitive guide.
The first thing that catch my eye is the display brightness,
-G4 model is in someway less bright
LEFT is G3 and RIGHT is G4
And this is not a LCD difference as I have exchanged the G3/G4 motherboards together.
-Bootloader versions are: 1.x=G3
2.x=G4
-G4 models are using a faster DOC meaning you can achieve stable 630Mhz Cpu speed (some users reporting 670Mhz)
-In some models you can find a G4 text on the device, after removing the battery
-Notification Leds on G4 model are brighter
-LCD case is slighty different
-Flash LED Plastic is more opaque on G3
I did a Spb Benchmark (All devices 2.09.01 BL+ ROM,No SIM,Power AC plugged,SoftReset and run Performance.exe tool only) but I have strange values.
As G3 is performing 630Mhz,this let me consider that this tool is not overclocking at all.
Anyway these are the benchmark results:

Ive broke the screws before but I didnt mind. Just make sure to slowly remove the internal cover sloely to prevent the headphone jack wire being removed. If it does then you'll have to put it back and such. It isnt recommended to leave the phone in a windy area to prevent dust from entering
dude not working for me..
i open the back cover and rotate that thing but did not work
i think the vibration slab is dead

It's a trial and error procedure. Try moving the slab a little left or right. It doesnt neccesarily have to be how I showed you guys in the video. Test the vibartion by booting up your device and if it doesn't work, just turn it off. And try again lol

Idk but that's how I've fixed my device for the whole year

Sorry for hijacking this thread but it is not that old.
Lately I have noticed that whenever my xperia SP should vibrate it does, however a weird sound is also coming out of it. I think it's the little buzzer (the little vibration thing) sliding/touching a wall inside the phone causing it to sound like that. Also, sometimes it gets stuck in a position preventing it from starting again ( too strong static friction I guess ). I just have to pat it genlty so the little buzzer rotates and it can vibrate once again but again with the weird sound.
Anyone having similar problem? Should I send it to sony or try to repair myself?

"Video is unavailable!" Would someone describe what to do? My phone does not vibrate! Thanks!

Very annoying camera issue, please help!

Okay so my camera does this in lowlight and yes when I take a photo the lines will stay... what is wrong?
Bump. It is sad that this is the 4th time I post in this section and get 0 replies.
Anyways I discovered that when I go lower the megapixels to 12MP or anything else NON WIDE the lines disappears, but whenever I choose a wide mode MP the lines appear.
Edit: 5 days ago I didn't have this kind of problem at all. Please help.

no sir its one of the problems with this phone, some other folks have reported the exact same issue i believe its a hardware issue with note 4's camera sensor. Look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/camera-shooting-lowlight-t3244104
i am afraid there is no way around it it was bothering me so i got rid of it (the next one was restarting randomly...and the next one had a broken gps....lol) samsung does not believe in quality i doubt if they even have a quality control department.
I'm having the same problem as yours
I went to samsung and they tried replacing the camera module but the problem remained, they said that I'm having a custom rom and it corrupted the "IC" of the camera, so it's a software problem as they say.
Is your phone rooted or running any no official rom?
See if you can update your camera firmware by going into the dialer and type *#34971539#
This is mine.
Edit:Update?? How?

Huawei Nova Plus Recording sound is so low.

hello xda community.
I bought my Nova Plus about 2 weeks ago for 309$, before this phone I was using my Note 4.
This phone is more faster and better than my note 4 but there is a problem with.. Sound recording, video recording anything with recording sound is really bad. the Microphones for calling is really good there are no problem with them but when I try to record a video the sound is really low and cuts a lot.
I took it back to the shop and tried 2 other phones they were just like that... DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SOLVE IT ?
I think it might be a problem with the noise cancellation.

NO I cannot find any solutions. I took it to the huawei Service and they flashed the framework again but it didn't fix it.
they told me it might be a software problem.
Android 7.0 will be launched for it lets hope they fix it.

Dark bleeding - 1 month old

Hello guys, I'm new on Mi 9t, I have it since one month now.
I'm running 11.0.5 global (waiting for miui 12) and everything is working smootly (a part some heating problems and battery drain).
Yesterday I noticed a BIG strange spot on the right side of the display only when I have a black/dark theme (for example on Telegram) and when brightness/light around the phone is low.
I tried to googled it but I didn't find anything useful and still don't understand if it's software or hardware. I just get that is a common issue of AMOLED screen but in 2020 I don't get how this is not fixable lol.
Any suggest?
Thanks in the advance and I wish you a happy day!
Nope, every AMOLED is like that. Tested even on the S10 plus. No worries
