Axon 7S-->7 Battery Mod? - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Do you think that you can transplant battery from Axon 7S to Axon 7? Its larger at 3400, and both devices have same dimensions but idk about battery size. But you can battery swap from Galaxy S7 Edge to S6, so I think if someone will find 3400mah battery from A7S, it could actually work

any ideas?

Do you really feel that 300 mAh more are worth the risk of tearing the fingerprint sensor cable and puncturing the original battery (which would in turn destroy half of the phone)? Just buy a damn powerbank

A better idea maybe to sell the Axon 7 and import the Axon 7s?

Can we use samsung Galaxy S 2 Battery with Samsung Omnia 7 as it much bigger
You should stick with what the battery OEM gave you as their designed around the phone.
I assume the battery for S2 will be longer and wider and thinner since its a thinner device than Omnia 7
thx, i found one in amazon but it much thicker than the one with device
so i thought this would be like official alternative
Someone posted that the Omnia HD battery fitted. Don't know If It's true as I haven't first hand experience with that model.
i think Omnia HD has the same Standard battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh
so there nothing new with it
yup, using omnia HD batteries just now. the batteries have the exact same model number!
batteries of the samsung wave also fits!
confirmed by myself yesterdag
also the samsung wave 1 and 2 use the same Standard battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh

Very interested in these batterys.
Whats the warranty and how long would it take to ship to Aus?
If the picture's anything to go by, this guy's selling the OEM battery on eBay for under $20 including postage.
Doing a search on eBay for "HB4F1" (the battery code) yields many cheaper results, though their photos indicate that they're aftermarket rather than the original.
If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest you refrain from leaving feedback until you've had a chance to test it for a few days to confirm that you're getting at least the same life as you got with your original battery.
Based on past experience (with other 'phones), you'll never get anywhere near the rated capacity with "no-name" (and in "no-name" I also include Mugen et al) batteries; they're really only good for emergency back-ups rather than replacing your existing battery. And you'll NEVER get more than the OEM battery's capacity, no matter what the aftermarket manufacturers tell you.

$99 is very pricy for a phone that costs ~$300. AND the the phone becomes bulkier, no thanks.
$99 for one battery? I prefer buy 3 or 4 standard bateries and swap when they gets empty lol
I would love to have one of these especially the 3600 mah
ive heard that 1800mah is something like failure or fake, it doesnt last that longer than the 1500mah one. also except that the 3600mah is soooo fat i think its really expensive also considering the fact that it might be used and of course not certified
I buyed two of this batteries. My batteries production date 1,5 year ago and it's lighter than orginal battery. These batteries are waiting for emergency call (if orginal batter empty in a emergency situation) I never charged them and i dont know performance. I am just tested them on my phone. They are %50 charged and phone can working with them.
Have they the same size as a normal one?
the site shows a big back cover.
Nope, they are fat fat that's why they had custom back cover.

[Q] MPJ 4500mAh High Capacity Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Compatibility?

Hi All,
Has anyone purchased the following extended (4500 mAh) battery from MPJ?
http://www.mpjbattery.com/mpj-4500m...sung-galaxy-note-iii-3-n7200-n9000-n9005.html
Should I be concerned if this will work with our beloved phablet (Model # SM-900V) or not?
Since the website above didn't specifically spell this out, I'm a little hesitant to make the purchase, but, for the most part, I'm sure it will work with our phone. i'm also assuming it is exactly the same size as the original STOCK Samsung battery that came with our phones so I needn't worry about an extended battery cover as well.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance, folks!
Man I wouldn't buy that junk. The stock battery on this bad boy does phenomenal. The only after market battery I've used is Zerolemon. Those were some great batteries. They had one for the s4 that fit in the phone with the OE battery cover and was an extra 2 or 3 hundred mah since they didn't put nfc support in the battery. They also have that big 10,000 mah battery that turns the phone into a brick.
Thanks HarleyDroid,
'preciate the feedback.

[Q] Has anyone tried this battery?

I'm not sure how good this is or if it is risky, but, has anyone tried this battery: http://www.amazon.com/4500mAh-Recha...id=1420477340&sr=8-12&keywords=note+4+battery It is rated at 4500mAh.

A guy on youtube reviewed it, it doesnt fit right. Mind you his title says 4200 mah and the description says 4500 mah. If you look at the one I ordered below it shows that 4200mah would fit like his does.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHQoOLVSyxI
I ordered this one because the description shows the size differences. For my model the 4500mah replaces my stock 3220mah.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321596587777?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Also with these batteries you will most likely lose nfc as they do not mention if they contain the nfc antenna or not.
do you have a samsung oem QI/NFC cover ? seems like if the battery fits then the stock OEM QI cover would give you NFC even with this battery, no ?

Dude just dont buy it, rubish from china. Do you really think they can make a 4500 mah batter with the same size as the original samsung one which is 3220 and sell it for so little money? Chinese batteries are the worst in the world. They even sell their rubish phones with 1 extra battery because they know the first one is gonna die so fast.
Now, from my experience: I once bought a 6800 chinese garbage power bank battery, because it was cheap and I wanted to try it. Guess what, it could only charge my 1650 mah galaxy s2 once before getting depleted. A friend of mine tried a battery similar to the one you linked for his galaxy s4. It was 3500 mah (original is 2600 mah), it achieved a maximum (MAXIMUM) Screen On time of 2 hours. Not to mention that they are dangerous because they might explode (not kidding, I know a case) and that rubbish effective capacity they have is gonna get even worse so quickly.
I've never understand why people risk destroying their expensive new phone by sticking in some cheap ass 'high capacity' battery from China that could well explode while charging, google exploding lithium batteries, it's not pretty. That people think you can fit extra mah into the same size as the OEM battery baffles me, if it was possible to do this do you not think Samsung would have done it themselves.......

Yeah, that's one thing I am concerned about and that's why I asked to see if anyone had used it.

Axon 7 Max battery in Axon 7?

Anyone done this? Replaced your Axon 7 battery with the 4100 mAh battery that's used in the Axon 7 Max? Same dimensions? Will it fit? Will it work?

that's way too much fam. I think the Max is a 6 incher, plus it's fairly different.
What may be possible is using an Axon 7S battery which is slightly bigger at about 3300 i thibk. supposedly they are the same dimensions
But is the max charge voltage the same?
Many Chinese OEM's will raise the charge maximum to have a higher capacity in specs but in reality that kills the battery and that extra bit of charge drains back off really quickly as it's overcharge. THL are a major offender in this. Personal experience with that one.

well it's going to be charged to 4.3 as that's the phone's max charging voltage in software, so in the worst case it's going to have the same capacity as the axon7 one. The battery doesn't define the charging curve
Is there actually any battery available with more juice then OEM one? I read in other threads some time ago that even those promising more capacity are just fake labeled OEM ones ... can anyone confirm that?
Does anyone have experience with it?
