Sweet! At least we know it's already at the FCC and will most likely be good to go.
No U.S. LTE on this one (as expected), but that's good for those of us who hope to use this on our Unlimited MediaNet plans.

I think...the N7100 version is the one everyone is waiting for. At least I am.

N7100 vs N7105
I really have no idea but it appears the N7105 is international version with no LTE, at least that works with ATT. The N7100 is the model number with LTE that will work with ATT. Is this true? Negri Electronics is selling the N7100, the spec says "4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 2100". Does this work with ATT 4G LTE? Is this the model, if you want LTE, to buy?
I preordered from Negri a week ago, but definitely want LTE in U.S.so keep order or cancel? Many websites reference in specs LTE but others call for 2 models....anyone really know. Clove U.K. simply calls device Samsung Note 2, no reference to N7100 or N7105. It clearly doesn't show in specs 4G LTE, only 3G.Handtec (U.K.) calls out phone N7100 with the following spec:"3G: HSPA＋ 21Mbps (HSDPA 21Mbps / HSUPA 5.76Mbps) 4G LTE: 100Mbps/ 50Mbps (HDSPA 42Mbps / HSUPA 5.76Mbps)
So which is it? Does anyone know?

It should work because ATT operates Lte on the 1700 and 2100 bands.

However what's confusing me is reading from the verge preview is the n7100 didn't have LTE.
Gsmarena also states this and list LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 2100 - N7105.

That's the problem seems to have conflicting opinions, like no one really knows.i just asked Negri electronics ans this is what he wrote:

Ya... N7105 from my research looks like its the Lte version thats compatible with att and bell Canada. I'm going to wait till 100% confirmed.

Fortunately, there are several smartphones start with support for LTE networks

CANADA, U.S. (At&t, T-MOBILE), MEXICO (TELCEL), ARGENTINA (MOVISTAR), URUGUAY (ANTEL), PUERTO RICO (at&t), ETC.
To date are only four models of Windows Phone 8 with support for LTE networks in BC4 (the LTE Band Class 4, is the key band in many operators in America, but not to all) , whose band is used for LTE in Canada, Mexico Telcel LTE and the upcoming LTE network fron TMoUS
Should be mentioned that at&t has the license for the BC4, but not yet implemented (at least commercially), and so far at&t only uses its LTE in BC17 (the band 17 should not interest anyone outside of at&t). Even so, the at&t´s LTE devices releases are still very relevant to another countries like Mexico and another some countries in Latin America, becauser ther LTE devices that are made for at&t in addition to the band 17, also include support for LTE in the band 4, which is the band that is used by several american carriers. LTE devices from Canada work also in BC4
WP DEVICES WITH LTE IN BC4:
For now, WP8 devices supporting LTE Band 4, are:
-HTC Windows Phone 8x (check that it is the GSM version with LTE in BC4, not to be confused with Verizon´s HTC 8x, nor the global version without LTE). There are variants of 8Gb and 16Gb of storage.
-Samsung Ativ S GT-i8750 (not to be confused with the version GSM/CDMA). With variants of 16 or 32 GB of storage
-Nokia Lumia 920.2 [RM-820]. Not to be confused with the Lumia 920 RM-821 which supports other LTE bands (European and others)
-Nokia Lumia 820.2 [RM-824]. Not to be confused with the Lumia 820 RM-825 which has European and other LTE bands

At the moment, I have no information if some trick is needed to operate the LTE in another network for which it was designed, (of course, assuming that both the device and the network has the appropiated LTE band, but the smartphones mentioned meet the requirement of hardware essential to be able to function in carriers with LTE LTE in BC4
For example, so far, I know the requirements to enjoy the LTE if the device was not purchased with the operator (Telcel Mexico case for now, but can serve as a reference for other operators):
-A unlocked device, which support the band LTE 4 (or AWS LTE, which is the same)
-Being in an LTE coverage area
-A Version 6 SIM Card
-Postpaid plan
-That the operators´s system enable your cell phone line as "LTE user"
-May or may not, be needed a minor operation, as in the case of the Nexus 4 you have to enter a service menu to change settings related to LTE (like Nexus 4); or edit the APN settings (like as was done with the 3G)
Europe
In Europe, LTE bands are used:
BC7 (this is in 2600MHz) used for LTE in most countries of the EU; Australia, etc
BC20 (this is in 800MHz) some European countries already in use as in France, Germany, etc.. (although in the same territory also use BC7); Australia
BC3 (this is in 1800MHz). Only a few countries use this as LTE band are: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, etc (although in the same territory also use BC7 and BC20). Australia uses BC3 too.
WP8 DEVICES THAT HAVE LTE IN BC7, AND LTE IN BC20:
Lumia 920 [RM-821], not to be confused with the American version.
Lumia 820 [RM-825], not to be confused with the American version.

-HTC 8X LTE C625b (LTE BC7 and LTE BC3)

Note: Some Latin American operators are deploying LTE networks in LTE frequency BC7, as Entel in Chile, UNE in Colombia, so they falls in the second case (European style)

In many European countries networks are already operational on 2600 Mhz. Some countries are allowing refarming of spectrum in the 1800 Mhz range. Some have already deployed in the spectrum of the digital dividend (switch to DVB-T) at around 800 Mhz, while other countries still have not given away those frequencies. It is safe to assume that most european networks will operate on a Mix of 800/2600 or 1800/2600.
The european versions of the Lumia 820/920 to my knowledge should support all three of those bands.

SM-P605 LTE WHITE 32GB - Arrived Yesterday

I got it! Woooah baby this thing is nice! Feels like the best gsm device on the market to me. I grabbed it on ebay, $831 w/next day shipping. Wifi internet is fast. Tmobile gave me a sim and its registered on their network but they cant figure out how to get it connected yet, they have a trouble ticket out on it. Just trying to get the 200mb free for now. I have wifi tethering on my phone and 2.5gb for it at the moment.

Assuming the N10.1-14 you purchased is the international version it'll never get LTE because the SM-605 doesn't support U.S. LTE bands.
You'll be able to use it on HSPA in T-Mobile's re-farmed markets that support the 3G 1900MHz band. It will work on AT&T because it supports all of their GSM bands.

I have a SM-601 and had a N-8000 before that - both on AT&T. If you want to use the phone and messaging features you need to have it added to your plan as a "phone" not a tablet. I have it on my AT&T plan as a non-Smartphone with unlimited data for $10 a month. AT&T doesn't recognize the IMEI since it's a foreign device. The 601/605 both support up to 42MB down on HSPA networks. T-Mobile uses dual-channel so you can get (theoretically) 42MB down on their network, AT&T's limited to 21MB. I typically get between 5-8MB down on AT&T which is considered high-normal. I think T-Mobile does better than that on HSPA. Neither the 601 or 605 support T-Mobile's 700MHz AWS band so the only way to get HSPA+ speeds is in markets they've re-farmed to 1900MHz. Your local T-Mobile office can tell you if your area has been re-farmed. The problem with 1900MHz is that it and other higher frequencies don't penetrate walls well so indoor reception can be challenging.

There's no mystery. Either the P-SM601 or P-SM605 will get 3G on AT&T and on T-Mobile in markets they've re-farmed to 1900MHz. If you add either device to an AT&T Family Share plan it's now only $15 a month including unlimited voice and MMS since you're "bringing your own."

Thanks for the confirmation. Our wireless account is on Sprint, so if I went this route it would be a new account, but I do have friends on T-Mobile so I might be able to join them.
According to the T-Mobile plans from a year ago, San Diego was supposed to be re-farmed this past year. I suppose it would be nice to know that was done, and that someone has been successful getting the device connected.
I'll probably wait until after CES to see if there are any new announcements.

Does anyone know if the SM-N910F will get LTE service on AT&T in the United States?

I am looking for a definite answer as well from someone who has the F or the C. I would rather go with Internation if I am going to bring my own phone to AT&T

Has anyone seen/read any confirmation if a the N910F or N910U will work with the AT&T Network? I currently have the AT&T N910A and have only till the 25th to return it; phone cannot be rooted at this time and don't want to be stuck with it.
I'm reading conflicting reports saying the the N910U will work with AT&T, the N910C is exynos based and would like a Qualcom based version.

I ended up purchasing a SM-N910F. While it does work on the AT&T network I am getting 4G connectivity but no LTE indicator.

On your Note 4, can you go to mobile networks and change it to GSM only, then run another test and compare.
I think your Note 4 is running on HSPA+ only.

Look at my speedtest in signature: the Vodafone one is on 4G
You've the -F- (European) version of the Note 4; maybe your Note 3 is operating on a different (faster) LTE/4G band that is not supported on your Note 4!

Sorry Bro, but 4G does not equal LTE. At least not in the US. A while back when 4G was an upcoming technology, carriers started pushing updates to the phones that made the phone display 4G even though it was actually running HSPA+ (3.5G). When LTE came out, the phones would still either display 4G or would display 4G LTE or just LTE. The only true way to tell if your phone is recognizing the LTE network is in your "About Device" Status screen under Mobile Network Type/State. That will tell you which network you are connected to, whether it be EDGE(2G), HSDPA(3G), HSPA+(3.5G/4G), or LTE(4G LTE).
AT&T is pretty tight lipped about their service. I have received many different answers depending on who you talk to at AT&T. The only thing I can suggest is to put the AT&T sim card it and make sure you have the APN configured correctly. The European model of the Note 4 actually has more LTE bands than the AT&T model. For quick reference, wikipedia states that AT&T in the US uses 2, 4, and 17.
Off of Samsung US for Note 4 AT&T:
SM-N910A - B2(1900) / B4(AWS) / B5(850) / B12(700) / B17(700)
Off of Samsung UK for Note 4 Europe Unlocked:
SM-N910F - B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B17(700), B20(800)
Interesting to note that the AT&T Note Edge has almost all the same LTE bands as the European Note 4.
Off of Samsung US for Note Edge AT&T:
SM-N915A - B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B17(700), B20(800)
So with that being said, just because it uses the same bands, doesn't mean that it will function properly on another carrier's network.
So, if you are having issues getting LTE, then you may be in an area that strictly uses Band 12 or there is a configuration issue somewhere. I would get with AT&T and hash out the configuration issue and AT&T will help you out if you bring an unlocked phone to their network. More often than not, it's an IMEI issue. Their IMEI to LTE database is very rigid and if I recall correctly only has the IMEIs for AT&T phones and no others. A bit closed minded in my opinion, but they won't change it.
Now, with all that being said, I want to make something perfectly clear. AT&T does not guarantee LTE service, even on their own phones. Though with the AT&T variation you will get LTE more often than the European variation. Doesn't seem like it would work that way, but that's why AT&T has their variation. It's been vetted by AT&T.

The Indian model should be SIM unlocked, but it might be locked if you buy it through an Indian carrier (I don't know how it works over there). The Indian model has Quadband GSM, Triband HSPA, and LTE 1, 3, 5, 8, 40.
In the US, on AT&T you'll get 2G (850MHz and 1900MHz), 3G (850MHz), and in a few markets, LTE on Band 5 (which is also 850MHz). It's missing AT&T's primary LTE band 12/17, as well as LTE bands 2 and 4, and 3G on 1900MHz.
On T-Mobile, you'll get 2G on 1900MHz and that's it. It's missing 3G on 1700MHz/2100MHz and 1900MHz, and LTE Bands 2, 4, 12.
It will not work on Verizon or Sprint at all.

The US model of the G4 Plus has Triband CDMA, Quadband GSM, Pentaband (five-band) HSPA, and LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 25, 26, 41. It'll work on all major carriers, although some prepaid carriers do not allow unlocked phones as part of their own policy.
Compared to the Indian model, you're missing LTE Band 40. If Band 40 isn't important to you, get the US model.

The problem is, I dont have a smart phone right now and i need one.
Let's say i buy the indian model right now. N assuming ill get AT&T sim in US, my phone will have phone calls, messages, 2G, 3G and WiFi right ?
Because thats all i want really. I'll be ok without 4G (dont need it, 3G is enough for me) .

Yes, the Indian version will work on AT&T US on 2G and 3G for calls/texts/data and WiFi for data.

Did you get Moto g4 in India? Did it work in USA?

HI ... I am facing same issue...
I brought MOTO -G4 plus from INDIA and currently I am in USA and using AT&T service.
I can only access 2-G network.
Is there any solution so that I can use 4-G network here ??

I am also having the same problem. Did you find any solution?
By any chance, manual installation of Nougat usa release fix the problem?
