Flashing Screen

Ever since i got the Windows 8 Developer Preview, i have noticed that my screen will randomly flash black for a split second every once and a while. Also sometimes my whole computer will freeze, then it will beep loudly, then it shows the search bar, and the date box. After a few seconds of showing that, it goes back to normal and says the driver has stopped and recovered. Anyone else experiencing this?

BUMP.
Also having this problem but my machine does not recovery, has been happening since DP and now with the RTM screen flashes and eventually completely crashes my system. Lenovo Ideacentre B500 Pentium Core2Duo Nvidia Gefore GT 300 series. 4Gig Ram.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is unusable and would love to make it the primary operating system as at the moment Im dualbooting with windows 7.

sounds like your graphics drivers are crashing, try updated drivers, you are using Release preview and not the outdated developer preview joeb?

I have use Developer Preview, Release Preview and now the RTM. All have given me the same problem, ie crashinf my PC, in RTM it was giving me the flashing screen and eventually crashing. I have updated my graphics card Geforce GT 240m to Driver version 308.82, it fixed the issue with the flashing sreen within apps but unfortunatly my pc still eventaully grinds to a hlt and crashes/locks up forcing me to do a hard restart.

Hey I bought my nexus 10 at about 3 months ago and now both camera and led flash stop working i allready format my device change camera app but not working? my device don´t have a scratch never fall.:crying::crying::crying: Happened with some one?

Hello. I have a half year Xiaomi phone, model Redmi 3s. Two days ago I was forced to put him up again, I uploaded a new rom. Everything works well, unfortunately from the beginning there is no notification light under the button at the bottom. The LED only works when the phone is plugged in for charging. If there comes a notification from Facebook or Messenger nothing happens, does not blink. The same goes for unanswered calls or low battery (usually glowing red). MiFlash's new rom, this is the version of Redmi 3S/Prime Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File.

I had the same dumb problem, so I switched to LOS 13 by fedosis and problem got solved. MIUI, while eye-catching, can be really, really Meh with it's dumb problems... :cyclops:

You posted about this over at official MIUI forums. According to your thread there and for the record, your problem is now solved.
It would be nice if you could share with us how your problem was solved. It may help someone later if they come looking for answers to the same issue.

On MIUI since 8.1 you have to enable LED notification per app. It's disabled by default.

Camera zoom is slow / can't quick reply or expand notifications on locked screen

So I have this phone since september 2017 and the thing I noticed is that when I zoom in and out it responds after 1-2 seconds. I compared it with p8 lite model 2016 and its zoom was faster than the p10 lite model. I updated my EMUI5/Android7(Nougat) to EMUI8/Android8 on thursday, 19th of July with hope that it would fix this problem but unfortunately it didn't.
For the notification problem, it appeared after upgrading my OS and hopefully it'll get fixed in future system updates.
I hope you people can help me, thanks in advance!

Nokia 6 (2017) keeps freezing

Hello,
I recently bought a Nokia 6 (2017) to my mother. However, phone is keep crashing and freezing while being not used. When this happens back and overview buttons are light up kept it like that. I can only start phone again by pushing power and volume + buttons simultaneously.
Phone is updated Oreo 8.1 with March security update and there are only whatsapp and instagram installed other than the regular apps.
I tried hard ressetting the phone vut it didn’t work either.
Does anyone have this problem? Or anyone knows how to fix it?

TA-1043 is Nokia 6.1 (2018) rather than Nokia 6(2017). Are you sure about phone model? Show screenshot from About with model & Android build

Sorry that’s my bad. It’s a 2017 model, I know the model for sure because it has a SD430.
