Difference between AOSCP, AOSPE, Carbon? - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

I want to try out an AOSP-based ROM, and we're spoilt for choice; AOSCP, AOSP Extended, and CarbonROM are all available.
What is the difference between the three?

And your question is?

[Q] AOSP or CM base?

How can I tell if a ROM is AOSP or CM base as the kernels are usually separated as such?
Some devs indicate that, but if they don't then is there a way to tell?
I am particularly looking at this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/rom-mahdi-rom-2-4-t2581007
Thanks.
Well the most accurate way is to ask if the rom is CM based....
I think Mahdi is CM based, but im not 100% sure

Search and you will find (I put "aosp" in the search box for the thread)
Thanks guys for the quick response. I guess for every ROM there's always someone who has asked the question already.

CMTE on Stock ROM?

I noticed that devs have managed to include CMTE in recent builds of Pure Nexus. I'm not too knowledgeable about this sort of thing, so what's the chance that this can/will be ported to work on stock? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. I thought Pure Nexus was also based off AOSP?
Thanks
Edit: Just read the sticky about questions going in the Q&A forum. My bad
Bump
Requires custom ROM. Won't be done on stock.
Why to both of those? Surely if that's the case it could be extracted to install in most ROMs, like Xposed or whatever else

It isn't quite as simple as that. If you want CMTE why not just use Pure Nexus?
PS. Please don't bump a thread any more than once in 24 hours, it isn't allowed.

I was just interested in whether it would be possible or practical, in the spirit of being a developer community. I might even try it myself after a bit of research

[REQUEST][ROM] Stock AOSP

Hello guys. I want to know if anyone can compile a pure AOSP rom with basic features such as screenshot delete and pre root. It would be great if there would be a rom purely based on AOSP with no modifications
It's just a request
Because AOSP+xposed = Best ROM
Love to see dirty unicorn ?
Yes Indeed!
Also liquidsmooth and AOSParadox
A stock ROM would be fantastic

Yes. AOSP is much appreciated. I tried to build, but you know right. Lack of experience. Thanks.

Most stable non-OOS Rom?

Hey everybody. Like the title says, I'm wondering, what is the most stable non-OOS ROM? I'm currently on Liquid, and have been having some serious gps issues in the middle of multiple trips. So I'm looking to switch it up.
I know that XXX is typically the go to OOS ROM, but I really like the feel of pure stock Android.
For me, the aosip rom is the most stable non stock rom, very smooth and battery life is perfect, give it a try

Thanks for the suggestion! But could you link to it? The only versions I can find are Nougat based. Is it on XDA?

Tresskmod and LiquidRemix are pretty smooth and very good on battery.I advise you to try both of them and find which one you would prefer. Also the telegram community and the dev of Liquid Remix are very good and will definitely help you if any issues arise for you.

You quoted the wrong person. I assume you meant to tag @shusuke028.

What's the best kernel?

I'm wondering what you guys think is the best kernel for the OnePlus 6T?
Personal preference. RZ, Neutrino, arter and Smurf are the ones I was sticking with for more than a day. Currently running arters kernel and I'm pretty happy with it. Very very snappy and amazing battery. I think you must try for yourself.

Same! They are all good.
OP should try them and tell us which you like best.
I tried a few and had a bunch of weird issues. Switched to BluSpark and all is well. Battery life is crazy good.
There is no 'best'. No best ROM, no best kernel etc....
All is later of taste and if what you expect from...
So try and decide by yourself for yourself

I've had the best experience with Render Zenith and Neurotrine. Render Zenith for more peformance and Neurotrine for more battery. I've found that most others give me instability issues or do not make a difference at all with stock in my opinion.
