[REQUEST][ROM] Stock AOSP - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys. I want to know if anyone can compile a pure AOSP rom with basic features such as screenshot delete and pre root. It would be great if there would be a rom purely based on AOSP with no modifications
It's just a request
Because AOSP+xposed = Best ROM

Love to see dirty unicorn ?

Yes Indeed!
Also liquidsmooth and AOSParadox

A stock ROM would be fantastic

[Q] Is there any vanilla KitKat 4.4.4 roms?

Is there any vanilla clean no features pure AOSP Roms for the g2 Verizon? I am interested in one. If not is there anyone that can build a Rom. I'm willing to donate for a pure AOSP Rom.

while there are no Vanilla one's per se... there are many great AOSP roms, mahdi rom for one is great and very stable. Just dont use any of the features it has and it will look like stock...

Yes I came from a nexus device and just loved rastakat vanilla builds. Perfect the way I like it. I tried to port myself the hammerhead AOSP Rom but it get bootloop. Don't know how to fix.

Your most vanilla aosp rom is going to be Paranoid Android. It is quite vanilla.

Does Viper4Audio work with PA? Its kind of a hit or miss with the AOSP ROMs, so far it only works with CM after flashing a few of them.

I believe it did a while ago. However the main dev is on hiatus and the sources have changed some with the new guy. But, it may still work. Make a backup and give it a try.

Idk if I want cm 12 or cm 12.1 and I'm looking for stock android with good battery
I don't know if this helps, but I get about 24 hours of battery on CM 12.1. Although, I don't use a lot of apps and close out of them when I am done with them.
So what cm 12.1 rom

Can decide between cm 12 or cm 12.1
the only difference of 12 and 12.1 is the support of xposed framework, In my humble opinion, try the cm12, it's smell and stable than cm12.1

Sorry but xposed works on both cm 12 and 12.1, still experimental but it corks...
If I may advise, 12 is more mature and there are still much bugs on cm12.1 that differs from rom to rom, one is Bluetooth, one is calls, the other is mms .... Personally I tried them all and every new build and I always back to xstrestolite .... I hate the TW interface and behavior but I still can't find the perfect cm rom for klte ...

I'm on cm 12.1 and it just seems laggy. Also the animations are kinda slow. And MMS is like flipping a coin. And the screen on time is delayed might govback to cm 12

Hard to find an AOSP rom without lot of bugs. All my respect to all devs for all their efforts but definitely this is my last Samsung phone. It makes me regret my Nexus 5 every day. Can't even find a 4.4.2 decent AOSP rom.

Which is your favourite g900f ROM

Hello guys, which is your favourite rom for our devices? I know that there is no such thing as "best rom" and i want to know what is your choise There is no matter AOSP, CM or Touchwiz roms
(sorry for bad English)
I am currently using the Resurrection Remix v5.5.5 ROM with the default Black and Red colour scheme. It is a compilation of all the other roms best features. I have indtalled it on most of my devices (s5, s2, tabS10.5). I am even learning about Ubuntu and Git with a goal of making my own build for my P3110 tab2 7". Love this rom.

Stock
Ambasadii
Sixperience v7
Official CyanogenMod 12.1 klite.
Up up
I tried CM 12.1, OmegaRom and Miui v7.
For me, the best rom is Miui V7 but each of them have their pros and cons.

hi there buddy is blisspop supports the doubletap2wake function? I want to switch there but I want the feature of the doubletap2wake.
Hi ginofakes. Can't remember I saw that option. Running Neatrom now because in 5.1.1 Tidal was unable to find my extsd, and therefore I was unable to save music for offline use.

Thank you so much buddy. During setup one can choose between stock or KToonsez. Don't know if others are compatible. I'm running it with KToonsez.

I guess it works perfectly. Based on the boeffla's thread if I am not mistaken.

[Q] No Oxygen based Custom ROM Development.

Why are not we seeing Oxygen OS based custom ROM development like those seen for Touchwiz etc? Till the time stable CM comes out for OP2, Oxygen isn't that bad. With xposed you can get enough features of CM. But the one thing where Oxygen lacks is that it doesn't have all the commits for proper functionality of RRO layers themes. May be developers can add those commits.

Still this does not answer the main question. Why there are no Oxygen based Roms? There are bunch of ToutchWiz or Sense based roms and they are really great, in some cases even better then CM,AOSP,AOKP .. like i had HTC One X, every Sense ROM had better camera performance and even battery life, sound quallity and so.. Like Android Revolution HD.

Because there are no oxygenos sources out there.
They've released only kernel sources, not ROM sources, like most OEMs do.

They might be ported ROMs, not ROMs built from source.

OXYGEN OS IS CLOSED SOURCE! GOOGLE IT, rather than start a thread.
I think those Samsung and sense roms are "kitchen" roms someone modified from stock firmware images, oneoplus hasn't release firmware images

AOSP based stock 6.0.1 ROM

I just bought this phone and I'm really happy with it. But in my opinion, what this phone really needs is a very stock, AOSP based 6.0.1 ROM. Look at ZyxxOS for the Xperia Z3 if you want to know what exactly I'm talking about. If anybody has the time do do this, it would be very much appreciated!
