I've tested 4 Roms but all of them lag like hell. I moved from stock because I could barely use it properly, now I'm on a note 5 port. It's still laggy ... Would anyone help me make this thing work properly? Please?
If stock is that bad then something wrong with your phone .Confirmed if you say custom are laggy.
Suggest total wipe flash your latest stock rom to start.

understood, the stock became laggy after sometime, since i have a ton of apps, i rooted to install custom fonts but the phone was already laggy after two weeks of use which is why i went custom. Is there anything else you could suggest apart from going stock? suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks.

Hey everyone, to make a long story short I'm one of those damned souls that installed chainfire 3d on a non gingerbread device (yes I did not read the description properly but seriously, who is using gingerbread in 2013 and why hasn't the app been taken down from play store?) And pretty much did not find any help anuwhere on how to remove it short of going back to stock or installimg a custom rom.
I did not have backup of nand or anything because I did not plan on installing a custom rom, anyway I imstalled phoenix rom 9.0 and it's okay but I have NO SOUND whatsoever and phone reboots itself mostly when I try to edit something I'm typing with the cursor such as this parragraph.
I could not find a stock rom for my phone, i9500 factory unlocked artic blue, box says it is the model "for the americas" and has the letters UD.
There an ota update for phoenix rom 10.1...would fix my issues? Or will I have to install something else? I would prefer a custom rom that's as close to stock as possible and it has to be 4.3 because I can no longer go back to 4.2.2 it seems because a change of bootloader...

Just to clarify, I do know the chainfire3d thing is my fault and no one elses...

my suggestions?
flash a stock ROM, and do a clean up (factory reset & clear cache) from stock recovery. This is the simple way.
my guess (if I'm wrong, correct me), you come back from CM/AOSP to TW, and it start to be like this.
Well im not sure if I had rooted it properly but I did all that I downloaded the stock hk rom to try see if thag will get it from booting in recover I know thats the easy fix. My big issue are all the other problems I had before I even tried to root the phone

stock HK firmware ?
Is your device is N9005 HK/Taiwan version ?
if not, you can't just use the HK/Taiwan firmware onto your N9005.
Its the sm-n9005 the international model

if yours is the international model of 32GB N9005, it is strongly suggested not to flash HK/Taiwan firmware.
This 2 firmware is basically only for HK/TW N9005, which is earlier was came in 16GB. Means the partition is different from the 32GB.
after that, they come up with 32GB, but... I might be wrong (correct me if I do), I read somewhere the partitioning also different.
So, Why don't u flash other international firmware ?
Have you tried other than HK/Taiwan firmware ?
I believe so as well. Regardless either 16 or 32gb HK fw doesn't play well with other regions n9005

Well what region do you suggest I flash on it?

Ok so do you have any other idea how to fix the other issues I described because flashing a new rom wont slove it.

If you haven't flash stock rom then just flash it first to see if the issue persists. Factory reset and wipe cache from stock recovery after done odin flashing.
If issues persist, root you phone again, install custom recovery sych as TWRP, use DrKetan's imei backup tool here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698639,
make a nandroid backup if your current rom, wipe system/data/cache(don't wipe internal or external storage if you save your nandroid backup and imei backup in any of them else you will lost it. You will never know when they would be handy if you lost your imei in any way). Then flash again stock with odin.
My friend's note3 has terrible lag after upgrade to KitKat. It took a few minutes after reboot just to get unlocked so I helped him to reflash using odin but after 3 different firmwares flashed still not get resolved. I did the same. No more issue after that.

do I need to flash the BL and moden when flash stock rom via odin
why no one replay is my question that hard
You need to wait longer. Your impatience will probably bother people. This is a forum, not a chat room. Relax.
Install Trepn, and see what is using your CPU. That will give you an idea of what app(s) is causing the drain.

the Lags I read too many threads that say LP for note for is always lag
I will Flash stock room then go to flash custom rom and see
Several have mentioned you need to factory reset after moving to Lollipop which will get rid of problems such as lag

Go back to KK. Lollipoop is garbage
I know in the past we were able to flash international roms on TMOBILE. As we dont have a recovery yet, I flashed Tekk . Is there anything else we can flash for customizations? Also I would make a NAND in the past to make things easier if I mess up...... Is there a way to make a similar thing to a NAND just in case?????
No you can't make a nandroid because we don't have a custom recovery. Maybe things will progress in the future but as of right now, nothing.
Also don't flash anything international rom wise. Ever. They have an exynos processor and we have a qualcom.

I remember I could run note 3 international Roms on my tmobile note 3 just had to change kernel and apply a BT/WIFI fix and it was golden.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Because ALL the note 3 devices were qualcom except for one model. The 900
I'm still kicking it with the note 3. Dirty unicorns on it.

I recommend flashing Viper (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-divinebeats-sound-master-phone-sony-t3274355) and Xposed ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6_...t?pref=2&pli=1 ) with FlashFire
For Viper, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-note5/general/share-viper4android-settings-t3313632 There are a lot of .irs files as well as my personal profile that sounds fantastic on my setup.
For Xposed, be careful. I've seen several reports that flashing it leads to bootloops, while others flash it no problem. I don't think we've worked out what causes the bootloops yet, but for safety, re-enable any packages you've disabled before you flash.
Between these two, your customization itch should be scratched until more comes out.
As far as backing up, the best I can think of off the top of my head is TiBU.
Although I haven't tried a restoration, I was successful in making a backup using FlashFire. Perhaps you can try that?

Wow you made a backup with Flashfire huh. Interesting. Might have to try that out when I'm ready for another full wipe. Thanks for letting us know. Right now I'm too comfortable with my setup.

i have more than 3 GB free memory in my Internal card & have a external card with around 8 GB free.

Thanks for the answer, but already i have removed all the junk apps. Will do a factory reset & give it a try.
I'm not sure if its fact, but have always heard that android when it gets old (like 2 yrs in same OS), it will slow down the phone, is it true? anybody had faced such issue?

Not true. I have note 3 for 3 years now. Now on stock custom rom with exposed. No lag at all. Maybe something with your device.

An OS cannot suddenly wear out its exactly the same as it was .Its either as usual usual user or very rare hardware .You could try reading the forum.
