So its summer and I'm getting bored, so i like to download hacked mobile games (modded apk) and play them. problem is almost every game and different versions of it (when I say almost every i mean all except one) keeps crashing upon opening. Those games all require an installation followed by transferring some folder under android/obb or android/data, and then afterwards when I try to open the app, they just crash. I figured it can't be a coincident that it keeps happening to me, so I was wondering if anyone know why this is happening and if there is a solution. Thanks a lot.
at XDA, people don't encourage piracy.
I know how to fix this. If you go to your play store and buy it, it should work.

I just bought the tablet yesterday and while trying to install apps from the market tht I've purchased i wasn't able to locate them.
I went to the market homepage and looked up the app ony to see a message stating "this item is not compatible with your device"
This has happened with a few games including nfs shift.
Any idea whats causing this? I saw in another thread that the game does indeed work on the tablet.
Thanks.
Yeah, I found this rather odd too. I think part of it is due to Electronic Arts themselves. I have both NFS and Bejeweled on my phone and neither can be pushed from the market to my TF. After reading reviews for both games, I just get the general vibe as being that EA is the problem.
It least i'm not the only one...
The weird thing is this thread "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032381" says that it is a compatible game... is anyone else having issues?
I have 7 android devices all living here with me in the same house. A related problem is that occasionally it'll say "This app not permitted in your country" for one device but not the rest of them.
I had a similar issue with a few apps. I did a titanuim backup from my Epic and restored on the TF, not all of them worked, but got a few that the market would not show.
Same issue with various applications.
Could you find a solution for this?
I found that after I bought Puzzle Quest 2 and used it for a few weeks, one of the more recent updates removed the TF101 from the list of officially supported systems on google market.
I've just been using Titanium Backup to re-install it if I need it. But luckily I had it backed up before that occured. And since Titanium Backup put the APK on my flash card, I was able to easily send it around to a few friends who ended up in a similar situation.
I have no idea if the newer version actually is broken on the TF, or if they just removed it because they didn't want to test it, or what...
So everthing was fine till yestarday, this morning I open the market place to see if there is something new or exiting that I should buy. Suddenly I noticed I have only two options to choose from either; samsung or all. before it was;
samsung
games
apps
maps
social
etc
How the hell did they downgrade to this. Right now all the games and apps are mixed up. Anyone has any idea how to fix this.
Thanks

Have you changed the language or region settings on your phone? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this kind of behavior.
Does the phone auto update the market based on where you're located?
Might try relocating yourself with the settings. Might have been a GPS error.
This might have been when the marketplace was down, experiencing errors though.
I know I'm being a little bit specific for these two games, but the whole choice between buying my A500 (which rocks just fine btw), or an Ipad, was the ability to play these games, as up until now, they were only on the Itunes market, as well as google play, but in japanese version. They were finally brough to the US google play a short time ago, and they're STILL not compatible with my Iconia. I don't get it, especially with a Tegra 2, why shouldn't these games be playable? Does anyone happen to know what would cause certain games not to be playable, because they are other korean HD games that I would like to play as well, but they always crash when loading. Is there a way around this issue? Thanks.

This is going to depend on if you are rooted? If you are, you can do this,
a. Open your "build.prop" file in /system and modify the line "ro.product.model=" to a different model, like instead of Acer-A500, change it to A500
b. Save and re-boot
c. Go to settings/apps and clear the cache on your Play store app.
Go to play store app and see if you can download it again.
or
You can download the Game.apk to a device that is compatible, and copy the apk to your device and install it through a file manager.
Note: in Settings/Apps or Settings/Security, you have to select "unknown sources". This allows you to install apps not downloaded via Play Store.
or
You can try this app as your country may be restricted from certain Play Store apps;

I've checked the games you mentioned. Due to the fact I have installed several different Roms on my 501, most of them are "compatible", although it seems the original Stock systems were not.
But there is no promise these games will run correctly using the above methods.

Moscow, you are the MAN! I FINALLY got both of them to work correctly. Had to root my tablet, install root manager, lucky patcher, etc. but in the end, everything works fine. I did end up having to install them both from a secondary file download, not through Google Play, but so what? Thanks for all your helpful information!

No Problem Mate
Remember, I flash a lot of experimental roms, so according to Google Play, I have about 10 different devices. And the only 2 that said was not compatible, was Asus Transformer and my Stock A501. All the other 501's were ok. Probably I had 10 different buildprops :laugh::laugh:
After I updated my nexus 7 to 4.3 all the apks I try to install just say parse error and just to get things straight they're not paid apps, they are modded free apps to get money in simpsons tapped out
Even when I sideload snapchat it happens, I was wondering what I can do to solve this? Or if anyone is experiencing the same thing
..

XDA's stance on "hacked" games (or game hacks) that allow bypassing "in game purchases", is that it takes away money from the developers. Because of this, XDA does not support these types apps or discussions.

Hello Community,
I have a weird one here - hoping someone can help -
Couple months back I bought myself an OnePlus6T phone and came here for help to successfully install LineageOS onto it. I would say it was the most fun but challenging install that I have performed but with your help, I was able to do so - Thanks.
Phone has been running great under LineageOS with excellent battery life. Been using F-Droid / Aurora Store when needed (mostly for work related Apps). Lately I got into a game that is similar to Pokemon GO and ran into an issue. The game was installed from apkpure since it was not found with Aurora Store.
The game works just fine. Boots up and able to play the game, walking around interacting with the environment. Except for some of the items in game are not clickable. Reached out to their support and with some troubleshooting, couldnt figure out the issue. Nobody has claimed this same issue. Same version that is the most recent. Since I still had my old phone, I installed the game on there (via Google Play Store) and it worked 100%. This phone is officially on Tmobile OS, believe Android 10.
So it had me thinking of what was different between the two devices. Obs the OS's are different, but the main factor that I couold think of was that when I installed LIneageOS on the OnePlus6t, i didnt install Google Play Services along with. Grabbed an apk of it, updated it and the game is still acting the same - cant interact with some of the objects in game. Through phone activity, I do get the notification pop stating "Google Play Services has crash" with two options, close app and app info.
Overview :
Objective / Issue - Geolocation game works but not 100% since some of the objects in game are not working, most are
Tmobile Phone - Running Official Android 10 - game installed from Play Store - works 100%
OnePlus6T Phone - Running LineageOS 18.1 - game installed manually, boot and runs but not all objects are intractable
Questions - Can i install Google Play Services separately through TWRP?
Which version would I install? Is there a slim down version of Google Play Services to only install the service and nothing else?
Is there a way to fully, and I mean Fully backup my data for a factory reset so i can install Google Play Services?
Would installing Lineage MircoG be a possible solution?
I know its a strange issue / request but hopefully a simple solution. Not sure if I can just install Google Play Services through TWRP and that would work but that would be the simplest and I wouldnt lose any data
Any help would be greatly appreciation,
Thanks,
