Hello
I tried searching forums, but couldn't find an answer.
I have a ZTE Axon 7, unrooted.
During phone calls, there is a loud beep and vibration any time I get a text message, hangouts message, another phone call, or email.
I cannot find a way to turn it off! I was hoping not to root this phone, although since I do not have great file explorer access, I might root it.
Any help is appreciated. It seems to be a known issue on ZTE forums since update 7.1.1.
Thanks

I am fairly new to ppc's I owned a 8125 for a few days decided it wasn't for me, I recently decide to give them a try again, so I got an 8525, While I really like the phone there is 1 issue I just can't handle.
If the device goes to sleep or is locked & someone calls or sends a sms, the phone will not ring or vibrate. I can't handle this. I setup new txt messages to ring & vibrate but it will only work if the device is active. Same with incoming calls.
Can someone please help me with this major issue?
Since sometime in this week, my Nexus 4 would automatically mute my ringtone and notification volume when it receives incoming call.
I was trying out few apps that block unwanted calls ( Call Blacklist, Root Call Blocker Trial ) since some stranger thought it was good idea to call me several times in late night.
Anyhow, after I found out about the problem, I uninstalled those apps thinking those apps were probably the cause but problem still persists.
Is full wipe and reinstall only way to let it function properly or is there some hidden setting that I don't know of?
I'd like to avoid the full wipe route if possible. :crying:
Sorry for asking question that is not really a Nexus problem, but I only have account in this forum anyways..
Hello friends! I really hope someone can help me with this issue. My mother has my old Samsung Note 3. For the last couple of weeks anytime she gets a text message the message notification tone plays but so does her incoming call ringtone. On top of that, the call ringtone won't stop playing. We can put the phone on silent but the ringtone won't actually stop until she restarts the phone.
A little background: I had the phone maybe a year before the note 4 came out and I immediately upgraded so she's had the phone I guess maybe two years. My phone was on Verizon. My mom has T-Mobile prepaid service. We've never had any problems until this. Well because she has prepaid she uses a Wi-Fi texting app called TextPlus or something like that. Again never any problems until a couple weeks ago. I asked her if she updated anything, I've checked all of her settings in the phone and the app. I even set the call ringtone to silent and sent a text and it still did it. It's not so much the ringtone as it is that it won't stop. We've even left it sitting for over an hour and it was still ringing.
What can I do to try to fix this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I couldn't seem to find a solution in the forums for this.
So while on a phone call, any message (Facebook Messenger, Textra, etc) that comes in makes a beep noise through the handset speaker. I have tried this with the phone on Silent, Vibrate and Ring. I can't find a setting to turn this on or off. Its happened on the T-Mobile OnePlus 6T and also the unlocked variant from OnePlus, so I know its not a fluke.
Hi having just received my new OnePlus 6t everything looked great apart from the fact that when I receive a call the phone rings but there is no way to answer the call. No notifications come up. Is this a software issue? Already tried a re boot and playing with various settings. Any suggestions or should it be returned.
Many thanks

Did you install any 3rd party dialer?
Go settings, apps, default apps and set default phone app to phone. That should most probably solve your problem.
