Is there anyone willing to do it? Max users dying for anything at all. I read one clain Eragon 4.8 rom for Super installed with a changed boot.img but would need more info before I try something like that.
Are the Max and Super really so different?

I am currently using Eragon 4.8. It's working fine, but the fingerprint scanner is dead. You should try some of the ROMs for Super because they are very similar phones.
LE: I didn't change the boot.img file and it works fine. In phone info it shows I'm on Umi Super.

u8800pro also have BCM4329 wifi solution instead of qualcomm libra one
I have one. I tryed to flash it with official rom and I bricked it. It was my fault. Now I can't recover it. Any suggestions? In every mode it vibrates and nothing happens. Purple screen doesn't work, recovery mode doesn't work, flashing mode doesn't work.

i had bricked mine also. i live in russia but im not russian hardly i could find a tech service coz i cant speak russian. they are going to run jtag on my phone they were asking for rom or something like that. finally i have found a u8800 pro rom on xda. tomorrow i'll se what will happen. and i can share all my experince with it
edit: the guy who was going to run jtag on my phone in moscow now and he'll be back only on 11th of december.. unfortunatelly i'll wait or i'll try to contact with an official service center in other cities. the problem is i can not find any official service center even in other cities
I can access to the pink screen, but i don't have the image folder... can somebody help me?? i have a big problem if i cant fix it.. it reboots every 80 seconds with the unfinished root image file.. if someone can give me the original one for 2.3.5 pleeeeaaaseee send i to [email protected] i really need it, im having a hard time trying to fix it.. help..!
You need different ROMs compared to u8800, as some people discovered (rather painfully). So far, there are 4 ROM options. Stock ROM options include the stock 2.2, the stock 2.3 (no problems as with the 2.3 for the u8800), however they both suck performance wise.
Then there's a MIUI port which I couldn't even get to install on my device and finally comes cyanogenmod which is the best option so far and the one I'd recommend (you will see a tremendous difference in the performance of the UI).

I have a Chinese Coolpad 7296 with the following high level specifications.(Quad Core MT6589M 1.2Ghz Android 4.2 5.5 inch IPS 960*540 Dual Camera).
I flashed(without backing up my stock ROM ) and installed a new custom ROM by using flash tool and a scatter file.
Everything went well, except that the wifi and bluetooth will not turn on. When I try to turn on wifi it gets stuck at 'wifi turning on...'.
Can someone please help me getting this issue resolved? The guys at Coolpad dont reply when I ask them for the stock ROM.
The phone is pretty useless without wifi!

Hello friends,anyone like miui 8 than I am sharing good ROM. Global miui 8 for lenovo a6000 plus lolipop and KitKat also,download file from android file host site ,select lenovo a6000 ,select developer cepoex97 and after select miui folder,this folder has many miui ROMs ,select which you like and use it.fully multi language ROM not one font in Russian,good ROM,download it,and appreciate dev sila gahara who made this ROM.

For root flash SuperSU and fast charging flash Ed 300 kernal,use it.
Miui 8 multirom rom based on kitkat is good, almost bugfree, but one thing i feel it heats up watching youtube or streaming videos. Else every thing good n working wifi ,gps too. On other roms on xda i found gps issues but this rom has no such issues

Yes its the best rom ever that can even blow up your hardware
Its so cool that the CPU begs you to stop usong the rom and on all other rom you found GPS issue
Can you give a logcat after turning on so that we porters and developers(who never got such a complaint) can specially contact you to have some new bugs whenever our roms feel bugfree

i converted my 8.9g pit to 11.8g
but i have faced alot of issues during that and the ressurection remix rom that support 11.8g doesnt fit with my device cuz it make it go on bootloop
the weird thing that i have been using 8.9g ressurection remix version on my 11.8g i dont know how but it works
2days ago the device bootlooped after being using it for like 6 months and now i tried to flash the 11.8g version and it does the same issue
i tried omega rom v28 but after flashing it the device is totally blacked out with no loading screen or anything
so please can someone help me with

Hi,I use ap200 2 weeks.
I very surprised its sound quality,but I found a big problem.
Very lag.
So,I hope anyone can make a rom or kernel for it.
Because I didn't find any usable kernel, roms or twrp for the device with 960x640 screen.
If someone can make it,I will be very grateful...
*In release 1.0,can't install any app,but in beta 0.22 can do it. I want to know why...
