Hey guys,
I bought the Samsung S8+ in Germany, O2. I was hoping to be able to use Samsung Pay or android pay. All the other Samsungs I've had they come with Samsung Pay already, just to swipe up and it appears, with this one I don't have it. I tried to download in the play store and says ain't available for my country. The problem is I know it's available I just can't get it... I even downloaded the apk and installed it and when was on the setup says "can't read Sim card" and automatically closes. When I enter again says it can't connect to the server ( I'm using wifi and tried with data also)
Anyone knows how can I use Samsung Pay on S8? Kinda sad I payed so much for a cellphone and one of the features I was looking forward I can't use it =(
someone recommended this to me and it worked. try downloading samsung pay version 2.7.03

Have not had any success in connecting to gameloft. Each time it tells me no games available. I believe others have been able to purchase games. I have a US At&t tab. Is this not supported yet or am i doing something wrong?

I got Asphalt HD, Sandstorm, Dungeon Hunter, Hero of Sparta and Gangstar from gameloft.com not the market on my Sprint Galaxy tab--have no idea.
The reason there aren't any apps available from the gameloft website for download on the AT&T tab is because AT&T doesn't allow sideloading of apps that aren't from the android market. Therefore gameloft doesn't have a section for the ATT galaxy tab because it would be misleading to their customers.
I haven't tried downloading the version for the T-Mobile tab, but I suspect it would work since the hardware on those tabs is almost exactly the same. To sideload apps, I have read about a program called "sideload wonder machine" that is supposed to let you put non market apps onto ATT devices, however I have not tried this either.
Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

Well that stinks. Any way to get around that? Tried SuperOneClick as it has an option to enable non-market apps but that doesn't seem to help.
I've read about Sideload Wonder machine, problem is you have to have the program you want to load. In this case, I can't even get to Gameloft to get a copy of the game, so I have nothing to load. Stinks!

Are you trying to download the gameloft app from your tab or your computer? Because you should be able to purchase the game from gameloft.com and then use the sideload wonder machine app on your computer to transfer the game onto your tab.
I was trying to purchase directly from the Tab as I thought that was the only way you could buy them. Last night I did discover that you can indeed buy them from your desktop, however it asks you what carrier your on??? I was going to try it but backed out. Could there be a chance the game is coded for a specific model and won't work on my ATT tab? I guess I could try as it's only $5 but just wanted to be sure it would work.
I guess it is possible that gameloft specially coded the game for each tab, but I kind of doubt it. In the case with Apple products (I know it isn't the exact same case, but still similar) one game file (.ipa) will work with an iPhone 4 or an iPod Touch 2nd generation. Considering how similar the hardware and software is between the AT&T and T-Mobile tabs, I would think that if you select the T-Mobile version that it would work. I won't be able to try this myself until tomorrow evening/night, unfortunately. If you don't wish to try it, I will post back with my results.
Well didn't work for me. Looks like you can only download via sms message link. Unfortunately it wasn't clear (not to me anyway) and I entered in my home phone number as I thought that was what was required to validate my credit card number. Thus no way now for me to change it and at least attempt to send to my Tab. That would probably fail as well, so I am SOL.
Edit: Spoke to soon!! I received an email verifying my purchase and low and behold it contained a link that I could download the game to my PC. Installed it fine with Sideload Wonder Machine. Sweet!!
Good news! Did you download the T-Mobile version of the app? And it's running smooth on your tab?
Yes i selected Tmobile as my option. I used the side wonder machine to install and it works perfectly. Its full screen and looks great.

Fullscreen apps on P500
Hello guys, i've installed hero of sparta on my P500 and the game is bigger than my screen, this also happens if i install any of gameloft games, is there any thing i can do to see the games fully fitted on my screen ? Thanks!
I am from the Philippines and we only have access to free apps. My Nexus S came with a T-Mobile SIM (bought from Best Buy last Dec 2010) and thought of using it just to check. Of course I didn't get any signal but got full access to android market. I was able to purchase app, via my Nexus S and from the web Android Market.
Putting back my local SIM will give me the 'Not Found: The requested item could not be found" when i tap the purchased item, but clearing data by going to Market will make the app reappear.
For some screen grabs, check my posterous page.
So that SIM is useful for something after all. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info.
I used the Market Enabler app. Phone must be rooted but it does what it is supposed to.
Just remember to switch back to you country after using Market Enabler

That's what I did to gain access to paid apps, and some free ones like Skype which aren't in the Pakistani android market.
The annoying thing is that to update some of the paid apps I need to put back the US sim card, while others update without needing the US sim once installed.
Yeah, I have been using T mobile SIM to get full access since day one . I live in Jordan.
we really do hope.. someone can update our market place that we can buy any paid apps without changing sims.. since its really frustrating..
what i mean is that i hope someone can have an enabler that doesn't need root..
Hi All,
Been struggling to find an answer to this one, I wonder if anyone can help.
My girlfriend just bought a galaxy tab sph-p100 from a friend for internet use at home and the odd app, setup all ok but when we go to use google play store everything is in dollars but we live in the UK. This is expected as its a us sprint device. which as standard only gives us or spanish locales.
I have found an app which says it downloads and applies other locals and this seems to have worked as far as i can see but google play still shows dollars.
Account with google is a uk account and everything i can change is set to uk but still no joy in store.
Is there a way around this, would it be a custom rom job? Im fairly new with android but have flashed my work android handset with CM9 ith relative ease.
FWIW tab is running 2.3.4 official from samsung, and latest play store as of this morning.
Any help would be great,
Thanks
Hi there,
This is my first threat here.
I just bought the S7 Edge yesterday and it came pre-loaded with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point and OneNote)
I can not use them when ever I have tried to open them they ask for update and then it says (This app is not available for your device) error (2316:4002).
I have the same problem with my Note 5 ????
If it helps I live In Iraq and use an american Google account and my model number is (SM-G935F) the one with the Octa-Core Samsung in-house processor.
Please can you help me cause I need those app very much in my work.
Hi buddy I've just checked these apps and can confirm working here in the UK sm-g935f purchased direct from Samsung..
No idea if this helps ?
Regards Braggster
It could be your location try using fake GPS in the app store to see if it will allow you to update. Also, try clearing the cache on the apps this has happened to me and clearing the apps cache worked.
Try update from Samsung app store instead of Google Play, I had the same issue and fixed by update via Samsung app store.p
I didn't find the apps in the galaxy app store.
I also tried using fake GPS and clearing the cash
Still not working
I am having the same problem though my device doesn't have it preloaded. When I go to play store it simply says not compatible. I'm in the US and bought the G935f online.
My guess would be the software isn't authorized for your region, and can tell the region you're in based on the SIM you're using.

as you mentioned living in Iraq.
If you think thr s problem with region then American Google Account is meaningless!
whatever u use an account that registered completely in USA But Google Play Service find ur location by using gps & internet & simcard so again limit to ur region.
u can delete all location history and always be on airplane mode and always connect to VPN
:good:

Noticed after installing Nougat on my Verizon S7 Edge that the files listed for the Note 7 workaround are now available. Only problem is, using quick shortcut maker doesn't seem to work as it had with Note 7. Makes the shortcuts fine, but obviously they don't work.
Also checked sammobile for the cloud apk file. was from 3 months ago, downloaded and tried to install. Upon doing that, phone said it was an update to my current program. Then said it could not install. Which leads me to believe we have the correct files, but Verizon still has it locked down?!?!
So my question is, has anyone found a workaround yet? Or does this mean that Verizon is "considering" giving us Samsung Cloud finally?
Verizon removed it completely.
Thanks for the quick response. I was just surprised to see all the files available to use the shortcut maker on. Guess I was kinda hoping that Verizon would finally step up and give us Samsung Cloud. Oh well.
Verizon will never allow for a service like that, because they don't make extra money off it.
I'm still surprised that they haven't figured out a way to prevent Google Maps from working on their network as well, so they can force everybody to use the for-pay VZ Navigator.

That she would be my last day with Verizon and probably a class action lawsuits like they did to cable providers over forcing cable boxes.
