Sprint Galaxy Tab (sph-p100) in uk / LOCALE - Galaxy Tab General

Hi All,
Been struggling to find an answer to this one, I wonder if anyone can help.
My girlfriend just bought a galaxy tab sph-p100 from a friend for internet use at home and the odd app, setup all ok but when we go to use google play store everything is in dollars but we live in the UK. This is expected as its a us sprint device. which as standard only gives us or spanish locales.
I have found an app which says it downloads and applies other locals and this seems to have worked as far as i can see but google play still shows dollars.
Account with google is a uk account and everything i can change is set to uk but still no joy in store.
Is there a way around this, would it be a custom rom job? Im fairly new with android but have flashed my work android handset with CM9 ith relative ease.
FWIW tab is running 2.3.4 official from samsung, and latest play store as of this morning.
Any help would be great,
Thanks

BBC iPlayer not available in Market on Archos 70

Hi There;
I dunno if anyone else is having this problem but, even though the BBC have now released iPlayer for Android in the Market, I couldn't find it on my Archos Internet 70 (Arctools installed market). Tried the Market 'fix' a couple of times to see if anything new would turn up with no luck.
Anyway I managed to download it on the wife's Galaxy Tab and transfer it to my Archos. Doesn't seem to work with live TV too well but otherwise it's working very well.
So, if you need it here it is.
It is supposed to be for the UK only, which is why it isn't showing in the market. If you do you live in the UK, that's a whole new ballgame...
I do live in the UK, so I guess that isn't it.
Thanks for the apk, I'll give it a try. I was looking for the iPlayer as well.
It won't work for me in Ireland - aren't the BBC great is there something to screen my IP address in Android like I can do on my PC?
My Archos is rooted and I change the gsm code inside to one of UK operator by Market Access app, then BBC iplayer shows up in Google Market.
Though I can run the app and it shows all catalogs of video/radio, I can't play them because it says only for UK.
Any workaround trick to make it play for non-UK?

Android market help since flashing to US firmware

About a month ago I flashed my Canadian Xoom to US firmware so that I would be able to receive OTA updates in a more timely fashion. Since that time, I have been unable to purchase apps for my device from the android market. I had no problem doing so when my device was running Canadian firmware. Anyone know how to remedy this?
There are many apps on the market to let you change the default region for the market.
I use Any Locale on mine to get the UK market... Give one if those apps a try...
Any locale is not really a solution to the above problem as it is only a language alteration app. Thanks for trying but this wont help
I flashed mine to GED US as well.. It was original a German Xoom, but I use it in Denmark
I purchased apps yesterday from the Google Play sale. Works fine!
Only problem with the Marked are the comments which are all american.
Maybe do a hard reset or clear the marked app cache..

Play Store/ tablet incorrect location set as UK

I bought my Nexus 7 while I was in England. I am back in the US now but Play Store seems to still be set for the UK because prices are in £. I tried to buy a ebook and it wouldn't let me based on my location. I am not sure if its the store specifically or the tablet but I can't seem to work out how change the location. I don't think it is the tablet since I can access apps like hulu that wouldn't work out there. If anyone can help that would be great,

Its not a big problem to fix. There is no problem with the tablet location that's set by IP address. You need to log in to your Google account on the google play website and change country from UK to USA its to stop your currency ect changing if you go on holiday.

I ended up having to change my address in Wallet and clearing the cache for the Play Store app.

[Q] Bought n9002 in China, Google play still won't work after rooting

Hi guys, so I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 n9002 in China not long ago, and after returning to Australia recently I still cannot use Google play or any other Google system apps. The main problem I'm having is that I can't seem to log into my account in any Google apps, not even my chrome etc. It keeps saying there is an error connecting with Google servers.
I rooted my phone today by following steps from this very website, since I read that many people had the same problem as me, but after rooting their phone according following CA steps, they were then successful in installing all the Google Apps.
I guess I'm just confused as to why I can't seem to get my phone working when I did what others did.
Just wondering if anyone out there can maybe shed some light on what else I can do to get my Google services to work.
Thanks a lot!
Different rom?

Hm... maybe you're using China firmware and it is blocking Google? They don't like people being able to get unrestricted access to the world so I'd bet on them making sure Android doesn't allow it for China ROM's. You might have to work out how to flash open firmware, which could mean problems with PIT partitions so read up first.
Is the firmware you used a special edition which is blocking Google service?
Delete hosts file in etc folder

Can't copy Google account to Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 4G with S20 Ultra bought in HK

Hello, I just got a new Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 4G (purchased in the UK) but I am having trouble copying my Google account to it. My phone is a S20 Ultra 5G (purchased in Hong Kong, SM-G9880)
In the Galaxy Wearable app, After the "Copying your accounts..." screen I get a "Couldn't copy your Google accounts" error without any extra context or information.
I have tried resetting my watch, clearing app cache/data from the Galaxy Wearable app, and restarting my phone. I have not attempted a factory reset of my phone as I don't really want to do that unless strictly necessary.
I have contacted Samsung UK support and I've been told that one of the reasons this is not working might be the lack of the "Google Mobile Services" app from my phone, as it does not appear on the list of system apps:
we highly recommend reaching our designated support team in Samsung Hong Kong so that they can also fully check if you can install/download Google Mobile Service (GMS) as this is one of the requirements for you to be able to fully use your mobile phone with your Galaxy Watch4 Classic

I could not find a way to get that installed on my phone, and I am not convinced this is the culprit anyway.
Could someone help?
I had the same issue till yesterday night, Google play services had a new update yesterday so I updated and it worked flawlessly then. try to check if it has an update in the play store, note that you won't find it with "my apps", you have to go to phone settings, apps, show system apps, google play services, scroll all the way down and click on app details in store..
