Try fitting some Samsung Accessories to see if it fits? Search on Youtube "Samsung Galaxy S3 Korean" and compare it with your phone and send the seller the video. I hate fake phones!

hmm thats not gonna cut it, my old s3 is a i9300, and this "new" one claims to be a i9300, but its completely different, and doesn't have the samsung boot logo, just comes up "android", should this be enough? cause i9300 is the international s3, so how could the korea i9300 be any different? does a korea i9300 even exist?
thanks, i just need some facts so i can get my money back

A Korean i9300 does exist. But once it shows "Android" as the boot animation, It's automatically a fake as Samsung never distributes phones that show that (that I know of). Get your money back! :fingers-crossed:

My brother bought one of those too during a travel. Korean Samsung IMEI as well.
But then he came back to Belgium and our local GSM/3g network provider blacklisted his S3/IMEI...

Hi guys.Got a little problem regarding the Note 4.I got a fella who wants to trade a Note 4 N910F with no signal and nothing happens when inserting a sim card with my Iphone 5.The question is, any chance it might be a live demo unit and i end up with a brick?Or it could be something worth fixing?
Kind regards,

Hello,
I recently purchased a Galaxy s5 SM-G900F on a french website (Eglobalcentral.fr).
Or so they said.
I wanted to root it, by flashing CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f on it with Odin, but it didn't work.
And then I took a closer look on the infos on the screen on the download mode and saw that it said Product Name : sm-g9006v...
Plus, as you can see, the knox flag is already tripped. It was before I touched it.
But in the phone properties, it says SM-G900F. So which one is it ? How can I root it ? Have I been scammed ?
Thanks a lot !
EDIT : wanted to add a screenshot but I can't because I'm new ^^

It seems that the G9006V is the Chinese model. If the product was advertised as a G900F you should contact the seller regarding a fraudulent advertisement. I'm sure even with Knox being tripped they'll be willing to reimburse or exchange it, that's a very shady practice.

I purchased another SM-G900F, from a well known french site, full price.
They sent me a SM-G901F -_-
I'm going to keep it, but still, is that common practice ?
Hi there,
i'm from France too and purchased the same weird G900F, from the same site (eglobal). It's also a disguised G900V, with sort of a "frankenstein" firmware, some parts are from g9006v (recovery, bootloader) and some part middle east G900F.
Can you tell me what did you do with it? Did the seller refund you?
The g901F is a beefier version of the S5, with a snapdragon 805. There is a cf autoroot version for it so i wouldn't mind too much. What was the site?
Thanks

It seems they don't respond to me either. I created a "litige" with Paypal, I give them 'til the end of the week and then I'll change that "litige" into a "réclamation". That's Paypal procedure, first they only forward your message, then they handle it themselves...
It seems like eglobalcentral.fr doesn't care about individuals, I really hope they will care about Paypal.

Hello all,
So I just got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone and I'm loving it so far, except for one thing. When I try to open the Samsung My KNOX app it says:
imgur[dot]com/ljtI1Qo.png
I'm just confused because I haven't changed the OS at all. After a little research online I found people saying that this message is caused by people rooting their phones and installing custom OS's, which I haven't done. Here's proof:
imgur[dot]com/tBvzKPs.png
Why is My KNOX saying that and is there a way to fix it?
Thanks!
Two possibilities. Have you use a package disabler app to disable any system packages. Or have you changed the default pixel density? Both have been reported to cause problems with Knox.

Maybe I just got scammed and this is a refurbished model?
I really, honestly appreciate the help as I've been a big Apple fanboy for forever and just decided to switch to Android. Great experience so far.
Edit:
I bought the phone factory unlocked: ebay[dot]com/itm/262399542189
From my research online it seems as if the CSC code pertains to the country. Since this is an unlocked phone, maybe it doesn't have a CSC code because it's not linked to any country? Or is that crazy thinking?

This isn't normal. Every Samsung device have a CSC Code. Speak with the eBay seller and get one replacement or money back.

I'm in the process of doing so. Thanks for the help! But just out of curiosity, why would someone completely remove a CSC code from the device and how would they do that without tripping the KNOX bit?
I'm wondering if someone tried to modify a Chinese market phone to work on AT&T, and is trying to unload his screwup onto someone else.

The box was unopened and the factory seal was un-broken. Maybe they just got a new box somehow? Is there a possibility that this is just a hardware problem?
Another thing you can do, will be to re install the firmware with odin, and I'm sure will work again, but you will have to install from scratch, unless you can backup your apps, etc
after having a look into the files you uploaded, it has a middle east pda xxu1apb6 and maybe is that the reason you maybe having some trouble, being in USA, you need to download one for the region you are in, sure someone in here should know which one will be the best for you. My self I have installed the XEU one, for the UK, and my phone had installed the ETL one, that was from Czech Republic, country I bought my phone from.
Installing the software again through Odin, will not trip knox at all, so try that.

So I just got off the phone with the eBay seller, and they said that the phone is brand new and that Samsung Pay isn't working because the phone is an unlocked international version[which the listing did say], and Samsung Pay isn't currently available on international phones. After some research on Google, it does look like Samsung Pay isn't currently compatible with international phones. This kind of makes sense to me, and I'm okay with it because the guy on the phone said that Samsung Pay should be rolled out for the international version soon.
Thanks for the help guys! Coming from the iOS landscape where this isn't a problem, the thought of it not working because it's an international phone didn't even phase me.
Have to say that I think you may have been sold a line there!
Knox and Samsung Pay are related, but not the same thing, and Knox does work on international phones.

That's a complete lie, I installed a USA version of the CSC on mine, ( international version)and there it was the Samsung pay app on it, I was checking versions on my phone, and flashing different countries to verify things work, and they do, pity I did not take a screen shot to prove it, but there it was.

Good point. Just curious, what could someone do with them?
So, i have been looking around and i didn't found a concrete answer to my question:
How can i identify a legitimate global version of the Redmi Note 7?
I know that Xiaomi resellers have a tendency to get Chinese versions and upload the global ROM to make it seem like it is a global product, so i would like to know what can i use to differentiate a chinese product from a global one like marks on the box or some software method, anything at all.
Photos would be very appreciated, thanks in advance for the help.
I found out today that apparently mine has Chinese ROM! I got mine from banggood, and it was supposed to be global so now I have to flash the ROM myself and I'm currently in the stupid wait to unlock period. Anyway I found out by going on

Live chat your relevent country and if you ask them you can give them your IMEI number and they will let you know =)

You can see if it is global version if the box has a label saying "global version".
If you ordered the global version and they sent you the Chinese version I would return it.
Depending on your country / carrier you may not even be able to get 4G in some areas with the Chinese version.

Thats what i would expected but my device didn't had one so i got suspicious.
The thing is I verified both IMEI and S/N on Xiaomi verification website and both matched, the model name and MIUI version also matches a global device.
I had no problems using 4G and benchmarks all seem fine too, so i decided to keep the device and didn't had any problems with update bricking as a fake device should have.
The manual is in english and the charger plug is an UK plug, so that makes me think i got an european version??(I live in Brazil by the way).
