I'm planning to switch my OnePlus 3T with a Galaxy S8 SM-G950F.
My negotiation is for a 1 week used device. That's what the other side told me!
The S8 owner sent me a screenshot of CPU-z and for some reason, density and resolution won't match with the original specs. Here in Brazil we can be fooled with very good replicas.
Can someone attach a screenshot using cpu-z on DEVICE info tab?
Thanks in advance!
His screen is set to the default 1080p setting.

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (i337M jflteub). But the display brightness seems very low than other S4 models that I have compare it (they were i9505 and the 9500). I have checked with CPU-Z but doesn't give any detail on the display to see if is Samsung manufactured or another (generic).
Does anyone know a bulletproof method to see if the display is original or not?
Additional info:
- It is a second hand device
- Yes, it seems that the screws are violated, but don't know if it was in order to change the display.
Thanks in advanced"
Today from work i got the s5 very cheap that i couldnt pass on the deal and currently own the note 2 which i love. Question is s5 worth the upgrade from note 2? i havent opened my s5 yet its still sealed. hows the battery? camera? compare to note 2 ? i heard there is a option you can make your phone black and white so it could last very long? True? Thanks
Of cours its worth the upgrade.

Have you even bothered to look at any reviews of the phone before making this pointless post? It really depends on what features in a phone you are looking for. e.g. smaller screen, style, hardware specs, etc. Supposedly there's another S5 version coming out (launching in Korea first) that has 2560 × 1440 resolution, compared to the current S5 at 1920 x 1080 res. Meaning that will match the LG G3 in terms of resolution currently available in the market which means higher PPI, but on a 5.1" device you're not going to really notice a difference. Also the LTE hardware in the phone is upgraded capable of reach 225Mb/s. The new S5 LTE-A will have the new Snapdragon 805 processor.

Good day! I do have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) bought used already. I just notice something weird. I see that the Pixel Density of this phone is about ~441 and its resolution is higher, around 1080p. But then, when I compare the phone with an Asus Zenfone 5. I just see that the Asus has more sharper image.
I brought my Samsung Galaxy S4 to Samsung SVC Center.
It also depends on the screen technology, I guess.
Samsung's AMOLED displays use a pentile pattern, so fewer green pixels compared to the other colors. The pentile arrangement results in a softer image compared to devices using an LCD.

Hi, I'm about to buy a samsung galaxy s8, and I'm in front of two smartphones with two different strings,
One reports SM-G950F
And the other report SM-G950FV
What's the difference between the two strings?? Thank you.
P.S I'm Italian and i will use it in Italy.
What do you mean? That's just the model numbers to distinguish the s8 from the s8+. The s8+ has a larger display and larger battery that's the only difference.

g950fv is s8 not plus, s8 plus is g955fv (in that specific model)
the V in the model states VIOLET color

It seems like Nosense, The S8 that i'm talking about it's black! The store have also the Violet color and it have the same SM-G950FV String.
From what I saw, the FV variant is only being sold in Italia...
No more diferences between the two. I think all ROMS, Kernels, Rooting tecniques from the F are appliable on the FV too.
Hey guys. I've got a A2017 and AIDA64 says 68mm*122mm , 5.5" , 534dpi(xxxhdpi) but Cpu z says 5.46" , 537dpi.
Gsmarena says 5.5", 82.2 cm2 , 538 ppi but Phonearena says 5.5" , 534 ppi.
I already know that on the same resolution the higher the pixel density is , the lower the screen size will be.
I've also seen on the link below that AIDA64 shows 5.5"(534 dpi) for A2017 and A2017U and shows 5.46"(538 dpi , 68mm*121mm ) for A2017G.

So which one is the most accurate and real one for each variant?

I'll look into it now. There was a way to get the panel ID from the system with a command

Nope didn't work, I can't find a spec sheet everywhere. The model is S6E3HA3. Back in the day, someone found that another phone came with different screens, so they made an XDA article about it, and someone made a thread here asking to run a line on the terminal to see the screen model. Many people tried and it was the same for all of them (including me).
The thingy outputs zteSAM_S6E3HA3_SAM_25601440_5P5Inch
