HTC 3450, HELP! doesn't enter bootloader mode

Hi everyone,
Before opening this thread i have done a lot of search about my problem but i could not find any solution. My pocket pc is HTC Touch 3450, it works fine but i want to unlock its CID. I tried every combination to enter bootloader mode (CAMERA + SOFT RESET, or CAMERA+POWER+SOFTRESET etc.) but when i try, it boots normally. Also there is no SD card in it. As i said everything works fine. I tried to upgrade its ROM but i got CONNECTION error in %0 of progress. I know to upgrade ROM i must enter bootloader but as i said i cannot. Also i can try to upgrade ROM via SD card but again i have to enter bootloader mode, but as i said i cannot.
When i try to enter bootloader mode it boots normally and begins the system and works everything fine. I dont know its history, i mean its my new second hand phone.
Anyone, any idea? Please help me!!!!.

Phone turned off. Hold down camera button, press power button to boot, while still holding camera button until the bootloader appears...
If you can't get your device into bootloader and you have tried all options, which it seems like you did. Consider the fact that you may have a clone, where did you purchase the phone from? This issue has been mentioned before, and that was the answer to why the bootloader wouldn't load.
Easy way to tell is check the battery, it'll say HTG instead of HTC.

You see I thought that mine was a clone due to the trouble getting into bootloader, but I can see no other reason to believe its a clone, Battery says HTC as well.
I have had plenty of experience updating roms on htc devices but this has me stumped.

unfortunately it is a HTG battery, then it is a clone When i try the combinations, (power off then push power buton+camera button) it doesn't enter bootloader mode.Now i knoe that the problem is being a clone.
My next question is, what is the way to enter bootloader in clone HTC (HTC with a HTG battery)?????

It's the same problem for all clones.
Seems there is no way to enter the bootloader mode

Clones enter bootloader by holding the volume slider UP and pressing reset. If you hold the volume slider up and hold the camera button and hit reset you can hard reset it.

Can't turn off my HD2 !

I have just installed tytung ICS ROM v1.5 for my HD2. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860 )
This is the first time i flashed my phone.
Everything work properly but i have a strange/annoying problem : i can't turn off my phone !
When i press power button a few seconds, a screen who asks me if i want to put phone on plane mode, or change phone mode ( mute, vibrator, ect...) appears. But i can't power off, if i press one more time the power button when i'm on this screen, the phone freeze during many seconds and says that no sim card are found. And just after i have to re-enter my sim-code to unlock the phone.
Like if he reboot.
I don't undertsand, can anyone help me ?

EDIT: i search on network how the power menu will be displayed.

But, on my case, i've just "Airplane Mode" and the 3 sounds icons.
PowerOff, Reboot and Screenshot are not displayed on my menu, why ?
EDIT 2: I found my problem, in general settings i actived "show power off menu" and now it work

I am glad the OP was able to fix the problem. But for anyone that this does not fix your problem, I suggest you go and grab the app Quick Boot from Google Play. You have to be rooted to use it but it gives you all the following options.
Power down
Reboot into Recovery
Restart
Edit: You also have to be using clk as the custom bootloader for Android for the Reboot to Recovery option to work.

Very annoying bug on 4.0.3 LPY (not found in other topics)

Hallo guys, i just flashed N7000XXLPY via ODIN. Everything worked well but I have one big issue (that wasn't discussed in "bugs" thread).
Whatever I select, Swipe Unlock, Face recognition, Draw pattern, PIN code or whatever, it reacts the same: never requires swipe, PIN, pattern or else for unlocking. If i press briefly the power button, the display light switchs off. If I press again any other button (volume, home or power), the display light turns on but never asks for any method of unlocking. What to do? Does anyone else have the same issue?

Not happening here. Try a hard-reset after flashing a new ROM.
I have swipe unlock by default and it works. Screen does not power on when you press volume button, only if you press power or home button.

Thanks vcespon for your quick response. I tried hard reset via "Volume UP + Home + Power" method, I wiped cache, I tried hard reset via changing the CSC, I restored it to factory settings from menu, nothing worked. Any other oppinion?
LE: I found another issue, maybe is related with the first one. When I want to switch off the phone, I press (for 2 seconds) the power button and it just go to Samsung logo and swhitches off, without asking me those two questions about what I want to do (to can choose beetween flight mode, silent and power off) and if I'm sure that I want to power off the phone.
LE2: Tryed also Indian version (N7000DDLP8), no improvements.

I already did it, not knowing that I might brick it.

Sir i am facing the same problem i have bought galaxy not n7000 and the problem i am facing is i have updated it to official ics indian rom and now i am not able to activate screen lock function and if i hold the lock buttton for 2-3 seconds the phone gets switched off, is it because of the kernel problem or anything else, i tried giving it to the samsung store but they dint fixed it. P.S i was not able to update my mobile through Kies as it said "this device can not be updated through kies" please help...

I just found a fast way to fix this problem.
1. Root your device.
2. Use this solution:
Download from Market "Terminal Emulator"
Open it and type this commands:
su
echo -n ON > /efs/imei/keystr
sync
reboot
100% works !

[Q] device doesnt enter to "download mode"

hey all
i forgot my password lock to my galaxy s
so i though to do wipe but my galaxy doesnt enter to "download mode"
while i press power+down vol+home the devie restart himself and no enter to download mode
i tried to do on cmd adb reboot download but i get an answer " error: device not found"
there anyone can help me with my problem?
how can i enter to download mode or how can i reset my device without it?

Try a solution from My Android Solutions
Use only ROM and solution for your model
But First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....
(Do remember to backup your contacts, data, images etc and also your EFS folder before flashing a ROM and make sure you have more than 50% battery charge before you attempt any sort of flashing.)

i tried all the solution in that post but none work..so now my only chance to get it done is wit JIG hope i will success to build this cable.
there is another way to restore the password that more easy then this?

you can try to press the three buttons in this sequence:
First vol down + home and then power until you see the galaxy s logo.In this istant release all buttons

You can buy a JIG on ebay it's only couple euro, they usally works fine

Try using Quickboot app it will surely help you out..:victory:

ohk....try using mobile odin for flashing rom through phone itself...it may help

[Q] Factory Reset get stuck on Downloading Do not turn off...

Hello Folks... I want to make a Factory reset on my SGH-i337 ATT Galaxy S4, but I am getting troubles when doing in either way
1)System Settings > Accounts> Backup and reset or buy 2)pressing Vol Up + Home + Power . On the first method when I confirm the Delete All data the phone try to restart and it got the Downloading ... screen also when trying the 2nd method the same issue happens.
I have looked every where and can't find something a like.
Also in the tiny letters says the could not do normal boot: Odin Mode, Product Name Current Binary Samsung Official etc.
But if I do a Vol Down + Home + Power I can go to a screen that say Volume up to Continue or Volume Down to Restart and I choose the second and my phone restart without any issues. But without the Factory reset.
I gave Safestrap installed but no Slot roms yet

You did something wrong and screwed up your stock recovery. You need to odin back to MF3 and try again (assuming you are on MF3 to begin with). Make sure you read EVERYTHING before you try it again though. You can search the forum to find out how to use ODIN to get back to stock MF3. There is a thread or two about it in the General and Q&A sections. Good luck.
While you are at it, you should probably go a head and read all of the "pinned" threads in the general and Q&A sections as well.

I experienced the same problem too. Follow these steps:
1) Restart your phone and boot into Safestrap.
2) Make sure the slot selected in "Boot Options" is the "Stock Rom"
3) Go back to the main menu of Safestrap and click "Wipe"
4) Then "Swipe to Factory Reset"
5) Once reset reboot your phone and you should be factory reset.
