So heres this situation,
I have a SM-G930V
It has busybox
I believe that it has xposed still
but the phone when checking for root says its no longer rooted.
I had rooted it previously and it had the latest software available. I followed the guide here on XDA where it then shows you how to install xposed and use flashfire.
I had tried to factory reset my phone and ended up removing the root and supersu.
I have tried just to unroot my phone through the normal processes in Odin. I have used Prince and the normal one. I have tried Home and the regular CSZ.
I am currently downloading the latest firmware from SamMobile. I was just want to if I needed to do something else to make it back to functioning condition. It seems to not let me boot in recovery mode. At this point I want to unroot it and click the lock back together on the loading screen if thats possible.

So I was able to root for the first time with Towelroot. That was successful and the I downloaded the clockwork mod and rom manager to attempt to flash Cyanogenmod. however after installing those two apps I restarted and when it booted up it now only shows the error message "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help. I do believe that I created a backup on my SD card but I cannot access it and I cant seem to be able to even use Odin to get my phone back to stock Kit Kat firmware. Can somebody please help figure out how to get my phone to boot back up and hopefully keep my root intact?
If your on a retail note, you can't run cm so you would need to Odin back to stock nc4 and re root with towel root and install safe strap recovery . If on developer note 3 dis regard and wait for someone with a dev phone to answer.?
thanks
Okay thanks but wouldn't that just put me back into a bootloop again? using safestrap and towelroot put me in this situation and I don't know what caused this issue and I would like to avoid it at all if possible on my next attempt. Is it because I didn't unlock the bootloader?

You can't unlock the bootloader on a retail Note 3.
Towelroot and Safe strap didn't get you in this situation.
You need to do a bit more research and read up before continuing.
All we have is root.
Safe strap is needed to run custom roms.
There are no custom kernels available since the bootloaders locked.
So don't try to use cwm.
Try to get your phone in download mode and odin the stock tar then root again and install Safstrap 3.75 build 4.
Good afternoon guys,
i have a big issue with my galaxy s5 SM-G900S (korean version). I bought it as a refurbished device. Knox was on 0x1 so something may have been modified.
It came with the stock (?!) android 4.4.2 from march14. I tried to update but it returned a registration error. Probably because knox is 0x1
In any case, I activated usb debugging and tried to root the phone using cfautoroot and the corresponding root file: CF-Auto-Root-klteskt-klteskt-smg900s.zip which I still assume to be the correct one.
I used odin for flashing. The device was properly connected (blue).
Everything seemed to go smooth until the phone restart when it said "recovery is not seandroid enforcing". I tried several times with both odin 3.07 and 3.09 but i cannot pass this step. I also tried the method to untick auto reboot, shut the phone down manually and boot into recovery mode but it failed.
This means I am now stuck in the bootloop. I can access download mode, but i cannot reach recovery mode. Also the phone is not recognized by the computer if i try to connect it to adb, kies etc. Odin seems to connect properly still.
Alright how should i proceed now?? My actual target is to flash a custom rom. I will need to go for a dirty flash now correct? Should I flash a stock rom with odin? If yes, which one?
Please support me a bit, I am very frustrated on this topic, especially cause I still dont realize my mistake......
Merry Christmas and greets from Bavaria, Germany.

Flash the stock firmware to get out of boot loop. After flashing the stock firmware, everything should be working fine and booting again. Instead of using CF auto root, flash a custom recovery like TWRP and then use it to flash the SuperSU zip.

Alright, Im back to stock android 4.4.2 now. Works perfect, aside from registration. If I click on "update now" it shows: SKT-USIM required.
Can someone link a detailed guide for flashing cm13? I checked the web but i still dont entirely understand.
In any case I do not want to risk going into a tricky situation once more.....
Thanks in advance.

My phone is a verizon gs5 SM-G900V and I tried to root it but something (I honestly have no idea) went wrong and now it is stuck on the splash screen. I have tried everything i thought of, doing a factory reset, clearing the cache partition, I tried reinstalling the stock rom using odin but of course because there was no root and the bootloader is locked, I can't reinstall. I tried applying updates using SD no dice. I am able to access the bootloader and the and the android recovery menu if that will help at all. I don't know every acronym/term because i'm still fairly new to these terms so any help will be greatly appreciated.
I'm guessing you are on lollipop because you say you can't downgrade to KitKat aka stock
so what you should do is go to Sammobile and download either lollipop official firmware bok3 or Pb1.
then install via odin in either ap or pda slot
with the phone in download mode after that wait for the Phone to boot then set it up
then use ok3 root method by Jr Kruse on xda it's a sticky in the s5 verizon forum to get root
Ive been having issues with my S5. Whenever I open the play store it crashes right away. I tried everything. Even reinstalling it.
Im going to just wipe everything and re root. I flashed NK2 kernal, but it didnt look like it changed anything. All my settings were still the same from after I tried the factory reset.
How do I install a fresh install again? I dont see the instructions or files any more. Seems like you had to go down to 4.2 then 4.4 then root.
I need to get this thing rooted again by saturday. I have a trade show this weekend. Need tethering. Ill lose a lot of money if I dont.
Thanks guys
You can check what firmware you are on NY going to recovery mode. To boot into recovery turn off your phone then hold power button home button and volume up button at the same time. Then check what firmware it says on the screen.
If you are on kitkat yes downgrade to 4.4.2 download the firmware on Sammobile. Com
Flash firmware using Odin
Then setup your device
Then root your device with towel root download
Then click make it rain and you should have root
After that try these Tethering apps
http://mashable.com/2012/08/16/free-tethering-apps/#43d31vkkSmq8
If you need bootloader unlock you can go to getex's kk-mm bootloader unlock thread on xda in s5 Verizon forum
If you are on lollipop go to Sammobile. Com and download and then flash bok3 or pb1 firmware in Odin to your phone
Then set it up and go to ok3 root forum on xda under s5 Verizon and follow jrkruses method to get root
Then try the Tethering apps from the link above
If marshmallow downgrade to ok3 or pb1 then follow the lollipop instructions from there
Hi everyone, I wanted to put a root issue on the Galaxy S7 edge.
I installed via Odin the latest version of ITV PDA G935FXXU1DQIC and CSC G935FITV1DQI1.
Once you've finished flashing once, I put it back in Download Mode and always flash through Odin the latest version of AutoRoot.
However, the phone still hangs before loading with a screen that warns me that the integrity of the system has not been checked out. I had tried to disable all security settings several times, but nothing. Once I install the root the phone gives me an error telling me that to reset the device I should do a factory reset.
How can I fix it is what? With previous firmware it did not work out what.

If you are using Chainfire's Autoroot it wont work on Nougat.. if you use some third-party AutoRoot i can't help you.
Best way i can recommend to you is to flash latest TWRP and easly get root also you can flash some of great custom roms you can get here!
