[HELP] AutoRoot in the last firmware. - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi everyone, I wanted to put a root issue on the Galaxy S7 edge.
I installed via Odin the latest version of ITV PDA G935FXXU1DQIC and CSC G935FITV1DQI1.
Once you've finished flashing once, I put it back in Download Mode and always flash through Odin the latest version of AutoRoot.
However, the phone still hangs before loading with a screen that warns me that the integrity of the system has not been checked out. I had tried to disable all security settings several times, but nothing. Once I install the root the phone gives me an error telling me that to reset the device I should do a factory reset.
How can I fix it is what? With previous firmware it did not work out what.

If you are using Chainfire's Autoroot it wont work on Nougat.. if you use some third-party AutoRoot i can't help you.
Best way i can recommend to you is to flash latest TWRP and easly get root also you can flash some of great custom roms you can get here!

[Q] Unroot fails (Odin OK, but no change when booting phone)

Dear,
Short story long:
I've rooted my Note 3 N9005 with the CF autoroot package (Kitkat)
Apparently, my television provider blocks rooted phones so i couldn't watch live streams anymore.
Then I made my mistake (apparently), and in SuperSU, I deactivated the "Enable Superuser".
Now I can't get my phone rooted again.
I though I'd flash the stock firmware via Odin, and restart everything.
Odin 3.09 works OK, the 2GB firmware is uploaded, no errors in Odin.
However, the device reboots and nothing happened, no stock firmware, all my data, apps and configuration is still there...
Anyone that can help me out to get to factory defaults: Clean firmware, clean settings, clean everything?
Thanks!
Matt

OK, I found the "error".
In order to be able to root, in settings, general, security. Reactivation lock has to be disabled. Now it works like a charm again!

[Q] Killed my Tab 4 (SM-T230NU)

I was looking to factory reset my Tab 4 7.0 to sell, but since I've rooted it and installed TWRP, the process wasn't as simple as I'd have liked. I tried the standard Factory Reset function of TWRP, but it didn't do anything. I tried Wipe Data, still nothing. Then I did an Advanced Wipe and checked off everything, not realizing one of the options was to wipe /system. Now my Tab 4 keeps rebooting to TWRP, and the recovery also states "No OS is installed".
I'm currently downloading the new NH1 firmware from SamMobile and considering flashing it through Odin 3.09. Would this be the most effective method, considering I had no prior backup made to the tablet? Will this likely remove my root access and custom recovery? Is there a chance of tripping something like a Knox counter and bricking my device (happened once when I tried an old method to root my Note 3, Knox blocked part of the flash and left the system halfway between two OS images)
Sounds like you're on the right track with downloading the firmware off of SamMobile. I had a similar issue with my Galaxy Tab 2 and that got my tablet out of its funk.

At this point I've tried all the ROMs listed on SamMobile for my tablet and all fail to completely flash. Odin says it was fully successful, but when the tablet tries to boot, I only hear half the boot sound and then the boot animation just sits there saying Samsung with the little blue dots popping out of it, and that's it.
Are there any other types of ROMs I can flash to this system? Does it matter what version of Odin I'm using? (Tried 3.06 and 3.09, both unsuccessful)

hi i have a tab 3 7.0. why dont you try using odin 3.07 if that fails try emergency firmware recovery in kies. odin flashing of official firmware does not increase binary counter as stated by sammy tech support. but you flashing twrp does increase binary count. hope i helped.

I have successfully flashed ND9 and N2E firmwares with Odin 3.07. The NH1 firmware is corrupt when I download it. These are the Cellular South versions which I assume are the US firmwares. I did also flash the Canada versions and I couldn't tell them apart. Currently on ND9 firmware so I could get it rooted. I only have the WiFi 230NU.

this question may sound silly but have you tried to wipe data/cache after full odin firmware install?
I believe i was able to keep all my apps and data after full firmware upgrade using odin, so it isnt doing full wipe after all.
.
I rooted and installed TWRP on this device and decided I wanted to get the SM-T330NU instead. I returned the T230 and the clerk tried to factory reset the device and it booted up into TWRP - the clerk made the comment "What in the world" but did not say anything. I had tried to factory reset it before returning and it would not work either.

If you power off the device and then boot up into download mode, connect the usb to your pc and run odin you can flash the factory stock image to the device using odin and that will reset the device to stock. Replacing TWRP with the factory recovery image and everything else. You can download the stock files for the device either by searching these forums or going to sammobile. Try starting with the oldest version available and update from there. I rooted and unrooted the SM-T230NU several times using this method and had no issues. Be patient. Allow the device 5 minutes to boot up after flashing the stock. Make sure the device has 80% charge or better before starting. Leave the device connected to the PC with odin open until you see a message in odin that reads, "passed".

Just install deodexed rom from twrp
I don't think sm-t230's have Knox do they? You didn't kill your tablet just flash a stock ROM from sammobile. And you'll be a-OK

So this means you can into Download Mode which is quite a good thing.
Now what you do is download the particular Kies for S4 from the OEM site and connect it when your phone is in Download or that wierd Yellow Triangle with the sign to connect to PC, and then kies will try to save ur phone.
came accross this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269941
Odin completed success fully, but now phone just hangs just after it askes to select the OS language ps. i used the lollipop india rom with the pit in the mentioned post
install a custom recovery using odin like philztouch and do a full wipe to install new rom
will i need a new PIT file?, after full wipe just Odin and lollipop 5.0.1 as normal?

Stuck on recovery after using CF-Auto-Root

So I have a galaxys s5 g900f which i cleared it from a rom i used before and got it back to the original form of it. Got the .tar.md5 file of the official galaxy software from sammobile and installed it with odin. After that I wanted to root my phone again and stick with the official software. I tried to do that by the way I always used to with CF-Auto-Root using Odin once more and after downloading the file my phone was normally rebooting to recovery but it actually got stuck there without doing anything. Tried to flash twrp too but still nothing. The only thing i can flash at the time is the official software. Anyone had this issue before and can help? Thanks in advance
Flash the stock ROM again and get your phone back up and working properly
Then use this guide to root / twrp

Custom Binary Blocked By FRP lock, please help.

i've tried following tutorials, flashing the device, and nothing is removing this irritating text "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock" on my s7 edge 8.0.0 oreo, even worse is that nobody bothers to help me with this issue. My phone is stuck in a boot loop with this aswell and can not access anything past the boot logo, all i can access is the download mode, can't access TWRP. This happened after i uninstalled google play services to install an older google play services APK in an attempt to bypass the security so i could spoof Pokemon go on my android. I have not found a fix anywhere and have been searching for a few days please help. This issue occured after i restarted my phone: for reference (https:.)//w(ww.reddit.)com/r/PokemonGoSpoofing/comments/9kzcfg/tutorial_android_unrooted_spoofing_android_6/
Try reinstalling the operating system using Odin. It will completely wipe your phone. So, if you have some photos or video or other valuable things in your phone's memory, you can say goodbye to them
Your only option is flash stock firmware via Odin. Next time you flash TWRP tick OEM unlock under developer settings. Having OEM unlock off and flashing TWRP is what causes Binary locks.
Hello,
I am having the same issue, I have an S7 edge from the UK with O2. I tried flashing back to the stock firmware with Odin and it failed every time, I tried with multiple Android versions and Odin versions.
