A new ROM ?

Hi, I just got my LG G2. and I was wondering if i have to change the stock for a custom ROM in order to get the best battery life. cuz on the Galaxy s4, I think you have to have a custom ROM to have a good battery life. so what are your suggestions ? plz help me I changed my s4 cuz I wanted a better battery life.
I had a GS4 on a custom ROM and the LG2 battery destroys it! Battery was good out of the box, but rooting allows you to freeze and disable some additional battery suckers. I'm using CleanROM on it now and it is wonderful.

[Q] S4 or OPO - which one is preferable (battery life and performance)?

Hi everyone.
Thinking of getting either the international version of the S4 or the OnePlus One.
Will save some bucks if I get the S4.
With a new battery and MM custom ROM (are there stable ones?) I was thinking this might be a good device.
Or as owners would U say I should add a few $ and opt for the OPO?
Thanks a million!
don't know the battery size of oneplus but the s4 benefits from carrying a spare or using a high capacity battery. opo has a much better CPU. always go newer for me...

Thanks for that input. The OPO has a 3,000 mhA battery and since I am a light user, lasts me 2 days (running stock CM 13 MM).
I guess battery wise the S4 would be a downgrade then. Carrying an extra battery is not an option for me as I will lose it within a week
it's hard to judge but if you're getting two days usage out of 3000mAh then you should be OK with 2600mAh to get back to a charger again. roms with alucard's kernel can be underclocked and or undervolted as well as being run on a power saving profile. that said I'm sure opo has similar options available...
You can also get a 3000mAh battery for the S4.
That being said, it really depends on how high the price difference is.
I personally would go for the OPO, because of the better specs. But I dislike the fact that it has no card slot. This is pretty much a deal-breaker for me.

s4 i9500 good battery rom ?

Plz suggest me a good battery life touchwiz rom for samsung galaxy s4 i9500 ?
i just started using Kushan lite version ROM i am happy when i get down to 20% i go into ultrapowersaving and that can last for more than a day until i get to a charger.
Its touchwizy without the bloatware from Samsung
I would suggest getting a new battery like zerolemon or something trustworthy +200/300mah make a huge difference trust me

Battery life / Advice on a new phone

Hey people. Hows your battery life on your LG g2?
Im currently on RessurrectionRemix 5.7.0 with Lambda Kernel and get usually 3:30-4:45 SOT.
Im also happy with the performance.
I was thinking of buying myself Note7 or something like that but Im not sure is it worth it because my g2 with this rom is really cool and I dont need something so much faster.
The camera on g2 isnt that great though.
Although a new phone with a cool camera would be cool. The costs would then be ~35€ more than now.
What are your opinions? Maybe buying a new battery for 20€, enjoy the extra 1-2 hours and wait for some other phone with stronger processor?
I have read some opinions with the new battery its like 1+ hours of SOT more than before.
Or maybe not buying note7 but some other phone? Even the new iPhone 7+?
Here two screenshots of the battery life from today.

pls help me decide on whether to nlbuy it or not.

Hi i am thinking of buying this phone but i want to know how is this phone? Means battery performance? And most importantly is rooting this phone is easy and how active is the rom development??

On the plus side it's extremely easy to root the 6P and there is a lot of Dev support for ROMs and mods. It's also a powerful and smooth running device. Idle battery life improves if you install a custom ROM and Kernel but SOT battery life isn't great.
A small but significant number of 6P users are experiencing problems like the phone shutting down at 20% battery, random reboots and bootloops. I wouldn't purchase a used 6P unless it was refurbished and came with a full warranty from Huawei or Google.

ROM development is very active! Look around in the ROM section! Happy Flashing
