Hi, I just got my LG G2. and I was wondering if i have to change the stock for a custom ROM in order to get the best battery life. cuz on the Galaxy s4, I think you have to have a custom ROM to have a good battery life. so what are your suggestions ? plz help me I changed my s4 cuz I wanted a better battery life.
I had a GS4 on a custom ROM and the LG2 battery destroys it! Battery was good out of the box, but rooting allows you to freeze and disable some additional battery suckers. I'm using CleanROM on it now and it is wonderful.

My g900t with 5.1.1 is rooted. I'm looking for roms with better battery life. Do I need one that works with lollipop or can I use one based on kitkat? I don't understand why it matters since I will be flashing it.
If anyone can recommend any custom roms that would work for me, and that are for good battery life, let me know. As rooted, I've debloated, and Im using nova launcher, and I'm getting about 6hrs screen on time. I'd like more. The phone seems to drain fast in standby too.

i just started using Kushan lite version ROM i am happy when i get down to 20% i go into ultrapowersaving and that can last for more than a day until i get to a charger.
Its touchwizy without the bloatware from Samsung
I would suggest getting a new battery like zerolemon or something trustworthy +200/300mah make a huge difference trust me
Hello, fellow LG V20 users...I come baring questions.
I've recently updated my phone from v10 to v20...I liked the v10, but due to being an AT&T variant, I found my options limited, due to no root access.
So far, I'm enjoying the v20 (better sound, pictures and video) but this battery is just not where it should be as far as life goes. I've done all of the usual power save bells and whistles, but no real change in drain.
I had bought an extended battery for the v10 - which allowed my phone to stay charged for 3 days; but after an update, it drained just as fast as if it were a stock battery. So I'm trying to figure out if I should just root my v20 (and if so, which method and ROM would you recommend) or get an extended battery (also seeking recommendations).

Stock battery is really nice. If you are a heavy user try the Mugen battery with case.

To really get the most out of this phone I suggest a spare battery with the cradle.
+1 the stock battery for sure. But do your homework first, don't make your purchase by a couple of views here.
How's the battery life on the s5 ? Thinking of getting one but was curious about battery.
