Which of the 7.0 roms for x727 have Wi-fi calling working for T-Mobile? It has been the only thing holding me back on stock. If one of them does how does it run is it stable enough to use? My workplace is a massive dead spot so I have to have wifi calling working.
It's a WIP. I think OmniROM is the closest to getting it working though. It requires VoLTE as a fallback (which Omni has.)

Thanks for the help bud. I'm sticking to stock for now then hoping we get stock updates from the Chinese version. I don't have much hope for getting anymore updates for the us version officially.
The new digits app works better than wifi calling. I tested it yesterday.

Any updates on this? WiFi calling is a critical feature. The Digits app has not been useful to me.

The title pretty much says it all. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a [mostly] stable ICS build that has working WiFi Calling. There are a lot of ICS roms in the development section and I haven't found one that has it listed as a working feature.
I need WiFi Calling when I'm at school since most of my classes are in the basement and I get zero reception there. I would prefer not to have to use Sense/MIUI. Thanks to all who answer!

None have stable wifi calling yet, but it'll be here soon. A few devs got their hands on the One S this week.
So I've been on Cloudy G3, 1.2 for a while and am pleased however I'm finding there are a few instances when I could really use the stock TMO wi-fi calling feature. But looking around I'm not seeing any roms that have it. Looks like they are all universal which I assume has this feature pulled out.
I did use a search but nothing came up with an answer. Maybe my terms used are wrong but does anyone know of a ROM for the G2 that retains the wi-fi calling? Other than stock that is....
Thanks...
Any other Roms still have Wi-Fi calling?

Sadly as a D801 user, I have not been able to find any rom that does wifi calling. From what I can see, only stock roms have the ability as TMO's service works best with them only.
Just a reminder for anyone looking for a stable Hydrogen 7.1.1 build the Android Ice Cold Project Rom is well in to their nightly build. The thread at https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max/development/rom-android-ice-cold-project-12-1-t3513541 seems to be abandoned however, the project and current nightlies are not. For anyone looking for another option...

No, unfortunately I am unaware of any 7.1.1 roms that support volte.
I can confirm that VoLTE does work with RR latest nightlies on kenzo.

I've been using RR-N nightly since 8th Feb & VoLTE has been working great but video call not fully though. Audio call over LTE is perfect but Video call I'm able to see & hear the other side but the receiver is not able to see me(only a black screen) & audio is not working. Going to try on my hydrogen next.

Excellent! At the time of my post I hadn't been aware of any. It's good to see that's changed. Thank you for updating the post.
Is anyone else experiencing slow LTE download\upload speeds after updating to Nougat compared to MM?
Granted my HTC 10 is a special case.....
My HTC 10 is an unlocked US version that I converted to a full featured VZW version. With the bootloader unlocked and s-off, I changed my CID and MID to VZW. I followed this by flashing a Verizon RUU that ran MM for quite a while before I took the Verizon OTA update to Nougat (about a week ago).
I've noticed LTE speeds run slow in the same locations where speeds with MM ran much faster. For example, at home running MM I would get at least 20-30mpbs down , with Nougat speeds are less than 5mpbs. I am experiencing this slow down in different locations, not such at home.
Just curious if anyone else is in the same boat as me. I am thinking about wiping the phone but I am waiting for the VZW Nougat RUU to be available.
Could it be that the VZW OTA didn't provide a new, more compatible radio? It seems like I have the same radio version as in MM.
Any thoughts?

Also seeing a decrease in network speeds since Official Nougat release.
Ruu isn't going to change that, as you have the Nougat radio, based on what you posted.
To be honest, I feel the radio/build combo from the pre release that I had posted(2.41.605.6) was better.
About to see how my latest port from US Unlocked HTC 10's latest March Security update(2.46.617.x) from this week, does in comparison...

Much improved in my opinion/experience.
Not to mention, the Bluetooth bug that's present in the Verizon release (toggle airplane on and then off > Bluetooth turns itself on) is not present in my latest port.

Flashed your port yesterday and have noticed a slight increase in network speeds. Will definitely keep your port running for quite a while. Definitely much smoother and snappier than the stock Verizon RUU.
Enjoying the baked in Magisk , I'm having no issues with Android pay and root. Thanks a lot for working to put this together, it's truly appreciated by myself and I'm sure the community!
So would running the .6 firmware with the .12 ROM fix the LTE speed problem? Would that even work?

I'm on a Verizon branded that i just upgraded to 605.12 running LeeDroid. I didn't think to test the LTE speeds since I'm on Wifi most of the time but i just ran a few tests from various sites and the best i could do was around 4 to 5 mbps. I'll test it when i get home where i know for a fact I've pulled much faster.
Hi,
How are you? Looks like we will need to load a custom rom in order to get updates.
Any problems with custom roms and VolLTE and wifi call?
regards,
Lineage 13 (not 14 yet) and Omni are the only two roms other than stock base that have TMobile Volte. Wifi calling only on stock base.

Agree since digits works better. Wifi calling often said unable to connect.
Personally I think the lack of Volte in all these custom roms is ridiculous. Seems like the forums are concentrating on IR and themes. Fix a basic phone issue first....this is a phone first is it not?

Yup, Volte is whats keeping me form buying the phone. Its at $250 on amazon. Thats a steal for the specs. This should be enough to hold me until next year when prices for the iphone 8, pixel 2 or note 8 would have drop a bit. I cant no longer justify paying $1000 for a phone when deals like this exist

The last post in lineage 14 thread says no VOLTE ( and no wifi calling).

Also don't see it in the changelogs.

How so? I haven't really looked at digits much. I thought it just let you share your phone number to other devices. Does it allow you to do wifi calling on a phone that doesn't have that ability built in?

I'm using lineage 13 and when I make a call the LTE icon either disappears or changes to something else (ex: 3G). Is there a setting I'm not finding or is it my modem firmware?
I know it's been a while, but.... Is VoLTE/VoWIFI working on LOS16 ROMs? I see an option in phone menu, but no indication that it's working. Is there a trick to enable it, such as hidden menu or something of the kind?
